Why is it that everything the leftist media covers ends up being a scam? With this kid, he was an attention whore who wants fame and money. With the Kony 2012 freak, he ended up being batshit crazy.

Why doesn't the media focuses on the immigration crisis in Europe or how most Americans are losing jobs to immigrants?

It wasnt the kid - it was his father using him as a pawn.

Was he born in the USA? from everything I have seen of him, he can't articulate a simple sentence, and WTF was that experiment with balloons with DR OZ, that is not a genius, that is something 7 years old are doing under supervision when they are allowed to use the kitchen for the first time, let give him a simple DC circuit and tell him to label it, resistance, voltage source, capacitor, this kid's father has able to capitalize the media and far left in the USA better than Obama.

I'll say what was said elsewhere:

$1 million for each minute of fame.

taking stuff apart and putting it together is how young boys get started down the stem path.

The teachers , police didnt think it was a bomb for more than 10 seconds at most, otherwise, they would have evacuated the school, called the bomb squad, gotten as far away from the "bomb" as possible. they did none of these things.

quoting myself ... I was fooled. I stand by both my statements, but its clear this was a stunt by the kids dad to garner support for whatever.

And now he's suing for 15 million dollars? troll game recognised.

Not only that, the family moved to Qatar after Qatar reached out to them and said they want the kid to study there. So the family's intention was to betray the US all along and never intended to even be America

Back in the US for a summer internship with Twitter.

Quote:Quote:

“Clock Boy” Ahmed returned to the United States late Monday afternoon, June 27, landing at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Breitbart Texas reported the “homesick” teenager just couldn’t stay away from Texas. Ahmed, his parents, and siblings walked into the airport terminal greeted by a crowd of family and a hoard of TV news crews.

KDFW 4 (Fox) reported the Mohamed family “alerted” the TV news outlet to the teen’s return. His grandmother flew in from the Sudan for this homecoming, according to the local Fox affiliate.

The teen and his family have been living in Qatar for the past nine months where he accepted a fully-funded education scholarship from the Qatar Foundation. Monday, Ahmed told reporters he came back for a summer internship with Twitter.

Ahmed also said Facebook, NASA, and even MIT, the prestigious university he nixed in favor of attending the Qatari school, contacted him over social media, asking him to visit while he is stateside this summer.

He told KDFW 4 there is a 50/50 chance he will finish high school in the U.S. and not Qatar. However, the Dallas Morning News reported the teen plans to return to Qatar to finish high school and attending an American college remains a possibility. Conversely, KDFW 4 reported the teen said he definitely wants to go to a U.S. college.

“School was amazing over there,” the teen explained to the Dallas newspaper. Regardless of where he studies, he says his interests are coding, engineering and technology.

“It’s beautiful to be here in U.S.A,” added Ahmed’s father, Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed, who also spoke to news media. He told KDFW 4: “It is our home and it is our country and we love it.”

(Bunch more stuff at the link, mostly rehashing the history of the story.)

This kid's a little shit, but I find it hilarious and fascinating how all these organizations are still lined up for their turn on his nuts. I guess the narrative is worth looking like fucking imbeciles over this kid.

I don't have a twitter account, but someone should ask him if he has a github account or similar, since he's such a tech genius and he's interested in coding.

The virtue signallers are doubling-down because they're trying to not be embarrassed that the alternative media revealed that the kid and his family are actually tremendous goofballs. They figure if they refuse to acknowledge it, then it can't be true. Actually, isn't that a game principle?

Yeah, it was a complete setup.

One of the things I would really like to do is find a teenager interested in computers/electronics and mentor them through building a real digital clock using an ESP8266 and a few other components on a protoboard and program it to sync the time via the Internet. A fairly straightforward project using about $20 in parts that I already have.

Any way we can get this kid back up trending for his fake clock? It's obvious he did it as a publicity stunt.

If he missed it so much, why didn't he stay in the US ?

Because he wanted the heat to die off.
