If anything this could be a great stepping stone for his future. Like many things in life, the more you get kicked, the stronger you become. He could parlay this into a scholarship or do a kickstarter and probably come up with $250,000.

Always use the momentum created by others.

It's manufactured. The father probably has come connection to a government agency or media outlet. Even if not, this is a "freebie" for the narrative and it will dominate the news to promote an immigrant agenda.

The media is salivating over the story and there's already a hashtag: https://twitter.com/search?q=%23IStandWi...d&src=tyah

...which was promoted by the Post in the headline: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/spea...?tid=sm_tw

And there's a connection to mega SJW Anil Dash who talked to the family (probably knows them through another SJW connection): https://twitter.com/anildash/status/6440...wsrc%5Etfw

And the White House is supporting it: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/spea...withahmed/

It's the top voted story on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/news/

Basically every SJW outlet in the USA is hyping this up to the moon.

This is manufactured news meant to drum up sympathy for Muslims, at the same time the USA just announced that they want to bring in 100,000 of them:

This story is the USA version of the dead Syrian child on the beach. Look into the kid's father and you'll find a connection to the establishment.

Edit: Father is a longtime pro-Islam activist: http://www.vox.com/2015/9/16/9339063/ahm...-elhassan. Gave his kid a fake bomb prop to be an Islamic hero and the narrative rushed to publicize it. Shame on him for using his son to push his religious agenda.

Exactly, you hit it spot on. It has gotten so bad that everytime something happens that gets national attention, I immediately start thinking about who's behind this and for what purpose are they choosing to push this through the mass media. Everything can be traced if you look hard enough. Good work making the connection to the kid's dad, I hadn't thought about it from that angle before.

I see this as part of a bigger picture of zero tolerance, where kids have been suspended for bringing gun shaped pop tarts, sticks, fishing gear, etc to school. The same line of philosophy that leads to a kid being charged with assault for a kiss. Escalate authority immediately because no level of risk is acceptable.

This kid was open about his project. Volunteered the info and had nothing to hide, brought it to attention of his teachers, never tried to insinuate that the device was a threat or anything other than a clock.

I don't think that this is manufactured at all, it's an inevitability that the lockdown school environment would eventually cross a Muslim target

He's on MSNBC right now. Sitting next to him is a white woman in a head scarf named Alia Salem from the North Texas chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations. Did they focus his on the fact that the cops and school committed a serious no no by not immediately contacting his parents? No. They asked him how he felt when this happened. He said "I felt like I was all the names they called me in middle school." Translation: This incident was one among many incidents of racism I and other Muslims like me face in our daily life as Muslims in the US.

I heard earlier that his old man goes back to Sudan every few years to run for president.

This is definitely manufactured.

How many boys have gotten suspended/expelled/arrested for bringing toy guns to school? For having spent brass in their backpacks? The only reason we're hearing about this is the kid is one of the protected class.

Not on here much anymore. I'm either out on 2 wheels or trying to kill something.

Bad comparison because it isn't a gun or spent brass an doesn't involve a school shooting. It was an electronic device in a briefcase he adamantly explained it was a clock.

He didn't bring a .45 with mags in a briefcase, a single bullet, or anything resembling a gun.

I think it's ridiculous they claimed it was a possible bomb, then a hoax bomb, then not a bomb at all.

Leave race out of this - we're hearing about it because a kid got arrested for bringing a home made clock to school and a teacher thinking it was a bomb.

Kids build stuff like this in class all the time, we built electronic components in my industrial class in high school.

Throw in some mechanical engineering software, CNC, and you can build anything on campus. Hell we had potato launchers in Chemistry class.

I don't think it's staged at all - I think the school/cops overreacted and are paying for it dearly courtesy of the MSM/SJW blowing it out of proportion.

Like Roosh said, this was a freebie that fell in to the lap of the left.

The kids probably was a bit confused and traumatized BUT I bet that immediately went away when Obama, FB, Google, Fourquare, MIT, etc reached out to him.

I ask this kid to do this: graduate MIT, build bad ass shit, make lots of money, better the world, and fuck dimes.

I was called racist names in school, it's not uncommon. I was an American born white washed skater/surfer/punk/nerd when I was a teen (I DON'T identify as Muslim, but most my family is). I witnessed some racism in NYC Post 9/11 when hanging with cousins of mine.

Do I think it's racism, racism, racism, NO not at all. I do think there is SOME racism out there regarding Islam, foreigners, etc. ? Yes.

Difference is I flipped the script in high school and call them racist names back with a grin, some of those kids ended up being good friends of mine.

Idk if you've ever experienced people being truly racist to you or not, but it's not fun, it makes you want to knock them out, but you just fire back, laugh, shrug it off, and move on.

EDIT:
Quote:Quote:

I heard earlier that his old man goes back to Sudan every few years to run for president.

Let's talk about his father for a minute:

http://www.sudantribune.com/spip.php?article54000

http://northdallasgazette.com/2015/02/23...-of-sudan/

http://www.dallasobserver.com/news/why-m...es-7130292

From what I gathered and read:

Quote:Quote:

The presidential candidate also vowed to ratify all international treaties that deals with human rights.

Quote:Quote:

“This is a military government led by a military man even if tried to appear as a democratic one. All laws and legislation are tailored to their needs which is why wars in Sudan have erupted,” he said.

Quote:Quote:

On terrorism, El-Hassan accused the government of encouraging fundamentalist groups which thrived under the military rule of president Omer Hassan al-Bashir.

Quote:Quote:

“We will have a moderate view of religion. Anyone who breaches [that view] and harms people will be swiftly dealt with by law,” he said.

Quote:Quote:

“When I went for the elections in 2010 they were rigid. When I was there my country was worse than I had left it. I saw people starve, and babies, die, and women cry in Darfur. No peace. No justice. So I am back to save my Sudan, so help me God. I’m hope for my country to become great, and to reestablish good connections with America. My country is going through economic hardship because of the embargo, and I would like to lift it.”

Quote:Quote:

He says he appreciates Jones giving him a forum to defend the Quran in terms of Sufism, a more mystical, new-age reading of the text. "I admire Terry Jones for doing that," he says.

So....from what I read he isn't some religious zealot. He wants to neuter terrorism in Sudan. He wants to make it a better place. He wants to make it a more secular nation, and deal with the fundamentalists by throwing the book at them. He wants to remove the convert to islam law.

Is this all possible in Sudan ? Probably not.....but it gives you insight on how he thinks.

His son is a reflection of himself, remember that.

Overall I'm not sure why he would stage this and pull it as a race card, especially when the states helped him create 2 businesses.

I think the SJW's just pounced over it.

Let me get this straight, kid cannot call his parents while being to spoken to by police and some bitch (I am assuming it is a cunt) decides to take a fucking picture of the kid in cuffs?

I sure hope this is some terrible prank.

Or I hope that whole staff at the school gets shitcanned.

Idiots. Take a fucking picture of a 14 year old in cuffs? For your FB page?

His father is a Sufi Muslim. That's a far more enlightened form of Islam that's much more tolerant. As Kaotic says his dad is not pushing a hardcore Muslim agenda, in fact he's campaigning against the fundamentalists in Sudan.

Sam from what I understand I think a student or a sibling of his took this. I don't think the school did.

Could have signs of Aspies, or maybe he realized why they were questioning and the word terrorist popped in his head and it was.......honestly a clock ?

Is it possible to believe that it was just that ? Nothing else sinister like fear mongering Breitbart would like you to think it is ?

Quote:Quote:

This whole thing smells like a setup. With ISIS in America, and young moderate Muslims fleeing to Syria to join the terror group, the response of MacArthur High School officials was rational and reasonable. At my website, PamelaGeller.com, I run news stories on a weekly basis of American Muslim teens who have been arrested for trying to join ISIS. Just this week, a Muslim teen from Philadelphia was arrested for an alleged plot to assassinate the Pope during his visit to the United States.

That's all I need to read to see where this article was being led to.

Bretibart obviously is a far right website just like HuffPo is far left. So yeah I'll take it with a pound of salt.

This article quickly defaults to his father for defending islam....in a CHURCH during a mock trial. Sounds pretty American to me.

Secondly read the articles I posted above, he looks secular to me and how he wants to reform Sudan.

If you see something say something is correct, and is NOT racist. But it sure does leave an aura of paranoia if you ask me.

It's manufactured. They exploited idiotic overreacting teachers so he'd get punished, cry racism or "islamophobia", and then get lawsuit money. I've seen several photos of his "clock" beside suitcase bombs out of movies and stuff like that. It was intentionally designed to look that way to get this sort of reaction.

Basically he took a clock apart and set it up in the briefcase to scare SWPLs.

They now have a GoFundMe account that's raking in several thousand dollars, he's got his future college stint paid for and a bunch of people are giving him stuff.

This is essentially another SJW-type move. Claim racism/sexism/rape whatever or death threats, get sympathy, rake in money.

Expect more of these in the future from these people if CAIR gets big money out of this. It's low level non-violent terrorism for profit, essentially.

Agree to disagree.

I don't see a kid designing this to become an attention whore, or a dry run for an actual bomb.

SJW/MSM/Left did exploit it screamed racism, etc.

I just don't see the kid or his family doing this on purpose man.

Of course people are giving him stuff, he's a victim (whether of his own doing or not is debatable) so everyone's reaching out to him.

Why ? Because it gives them popularity with the SJW's also and makes them relevant or is a great PR/Money Making move.

Nah, I don't expect these cases to increase, let alone calling it low level non violent terrorism.

This isn't another Anita Sarkeesian incident.

Yeah, we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. My bullshit meter is pinging off the charts. Had it not spread through leftist circles like wildfire I would've probably thought it was legitimate, but there are too many things about this that are too convenient. His father being an outspoken activist who debates people about Islam, runs for political office, etc. etc. is too fishy.

What are the odds of that just being a coincidence?

And how many of these 'high school teachers' are explosives technicians? What in that womand tiny mind makes her think shes qualified to call a clock, a bob? Seriously, she was so threatened she confiscated the device and held on to it for an amount of time... not only is she smart but she knows when to take action.

This is most certainly a case of people watching too much t.v. Any person of reasonably average intelligence could examine that device for 60 seconds and see that its exactly what the kid claims, a digital clock. Maybe next time he'll make one out of a potatoe. I wonder what theyll call it then.

Reminds me when they shut down Atlanta's 75/85 interstates because some GA tech kids duct taped pinhole cameras to an overhead bridge. Look that up if you didnt hear about it. Kinda funny if you ask me.

Oh and this thread title sucked. Completely misleading and inaccurate. Shouldve read," teenager arrested at school, homemade clock mistaken for bomb."

I get it dude, I see what you're saying, it's all good, we agree on a lot of other things.

I think it spread so fast because the pic was immediately put online, and SJW's are well connected so news spreads fast.

Sure he debated people about Islam, but read his interviews I posted up in the links, sounds like he's trying to reform his own country, granted he never will, he's trying to show Sudan in a better light.

I don't think he's siding with fanatical islam at all, one of his quotes said he'd deal with them swiftly. If he truly is Sufi this would explain alot.

I'd also like to admit the following: I've had personally dealt with racism, since I'm brown and people think I'm "arab". This is why I come at this event with an open mind. Granted I'm a gun loving, freedom defending man, with devil dogs as some close friends. I've experienced some not so great stuff.

Is his father's country the United States or Sudan? Seems to me like if he wants to run for president of that country he should take his family and move there.

This kids a narcacisstic attention whore. When his teacher didn't cream himself over his clock and advised him not to show others he set the clock to randomly go off and disrupt class so others would pay attention. There's absolutely 0 reason to bring it to school in the first place. Just take a picture and show someone like normal human beings do now.
