Not sure if I could ever sport that though. I tried to not shave for a few weeks and the itching drove me nuts. I prefer a 2-5 day scruff.
Tried many times to grow a beard, but the itching was just too much. After 5 days, I break down and shave it all.
Try to make it past 5 days and the itching should eventually subdue?
If you make it to 5 weeks, the itching starts again, a different kind of itching. This is about the time it starts creeping into your mouth and mealtimes become a challenge

I'm currently having my second crack at growing a beard, after having one for a couple of months early last year.
On that occasion, I used a beard specific hair dye to touch up some of the greys which dominate my chin area. The dye imparts quite a natural colour by the way.
This time around, I'm leaving the grey as it is, and I appear to be getting more looks than I would if I was either clean shaven, or if I had coloured it like last time.
Within reason, if you are looking fit/good generally, I think the salt and pepper beard is the way to go in terms of garnering interested looks from chicks. Similarly, I think it automatically commands respect amongst men too.

I'd agree. Looks distinguished. Think silverback gorilla.
