This may have been mentioned in another post, I saw a few comments in a similar vein but haven't read all of them.

The last time this came up on the forum I said, what I have said many times before...especially on my old blog...on this subject, that I don't think it will happen in the way we discuss.

For one, women in general already shame men for using sex toys of any kind. I don't know any guy who would admit to owning a fleshlight much less a Real Doll.

I am sure guys use them, but women have us at a disadvantage in the sex realm when it comes to 'toys' or sex aids.

So, for that reason I don't see any robots really being sold as sex bots. Some may try it, but I doubt it will really take off due to the fact that women don't need to ban them. They simply need to ridicule any guy who owns one or even jokes about owning one. Now, that could change but I doubt it.

Second, think about the cost. Even at the low end, it would probably cost as much as a new car. So, say 30k if not more? With the way things are going, your average omega/gamma/lower beta won't be able to afford that.

One thing I have thought about is some enterprising guy, especially if they passed the uncanny valley in features, opening up a sex bot escort service or cat house. As this would allow them to get passed prostitution laws.

Then again, would any of you guys want to pay to rent a more advanced version of a fleshlight? Eeeewwww.

Not to mention the CDC and health department cracking down on it. But I could see it happening to some degree.

What I think will actually happen is what happened with computers. At first it will be humanoid robots sold for businesses and then will make it into the normal consumer market.

Some wealthy tech guys may buy them as maids/servants and also use them as an occasional sexbot but more than likely they will simply replace large sections of the work force.

I think this is what really terrifies women.

Women know that they only have so much value to society with most of it being sexual. For all their 'career' talk about being empowered and independent, the fact is that most women are far from independent or empowered and only a very small few work in any capacity in a occupation that could reasonably called a "career".

Most women work in low skill areas, retail or basically as clerks/secretaries as examples, and even those with careers are far more replaceable than their comparative men in their social strata. Look at female lawyers, for example. Most simply do legal research instead of running the law firm or arguing the case.

Or doctors. Most female doctors work as GP's or similar types of fields. They aren't neurosurgeons. Those types of jobs will easily be replaced by human-esque robots. Japan is already working towards this with robot to care for the elderly and sick.

One of the more amusing things to me is that, besides sex, most jobs women do are the same types of jobs that they used to do within the home. They wait tables, do laundry, serve food (though usually it is men who cook it), and clean bedrooms.

Human robots could do that on a commercial level and eventually at the household level.


Imagine you are at work, you get a message on your smart phone that your "personal household robot assistant" is done cleaning and effecting minor repairs and is on the way to drop off your dry cleaning in the back of an automated Uber or Google car. It wants to know what you want for dinner so it can stop by the grocery store and buy the ingredients. It sends you some recipes based on your past usage or designed to help you build gains.

You come home a few hours later to a clean house, a hot meal in the stove, your errands completed, and are greeted by a smoking hot robot gladly will to rub your shoulders or suck your dick before or after dinner.

No woman could compete with that. Even if sex with a real woman is better, assuming their bitchiness doesn't reach astronomical levels, then I still see the benefit.

I don't know about you guys but even when I do have pussy on tap, I still jerk it once a day on average. Imagine how much easier a "Robotic personal assistant" would make your life even when out gaming.

Now imagine it will probably be marketed towards families, the elderly, and the disabled first with a special upgrade option.

Do I mean that a lot of men wouldn't be interested in sexbots if they did exist? No - I just mean that sexbots aren't necessary because there will be superior alternatives, namely VR porn ala Oculus Rift. It seems absurdly obvious to me that VR porn, combined with some sort of integrated fleshlight/pocket pussy attachment will be tremendously popular over the coming decades. I don't think either will really catch on. The problem is the cleaning part - whether it's a flashlight or a robot, you have to clean that thing - that's not something a majority of people wants to do. A niche group of men yeah, but both flashlight and sex robots are not a mainstream product I think.

Or maybe only in a very far future when the tech basically cleans itself.

For a start, there's a lot more to the sexual experience than just having your dick stimulated. Beyond that, 'human' touch has all sorts of positive psychological effects and depending on how quickly the technology evolves sexbots might be able to provide comfort beyond the orgasm.

I can see why feminists would be against sexbots - even if every adult man and woman each got one for the same price, they would help men more than women. Simply put, sexbots for men would cost a lot less than a wife, or especially an ex-wife. But even if women all got them for free, they'd still lose money vs. being in a relationship with a man, because even a free Robo-Chad isn't pay for her bills, student loans, handbags, etc.
