I would not recommend anywhere in Texas to most guys on this forum. If you are in your 20s why not... only because it is no worse than any part of the US, and the girls are just a bit more traditional.
But once you have gone abroad.....there is nothing more to say.

Beijing summer 2013 was a paradise. My weekends would go something like:
Thursday night, get home from work and shower. Go and meet my favorite girl from online dating that week at Hatsune in Guanghua Lu for some awesome sushi and shots of sake. It would usually be the first date so I'd make no attempt to close (I found this works great with Chinese women and by the 2nd or 3rd date they will be asking you to go back to their apartment). After sushi, I'd kiss my date, put her in a cab and then head over to Xiu in the Grand Hyatt for ladies night. Id usually hang back at the bar with an expensive cocktail and enjoy watching the madness. On Thursdays it's always a mix of about 70% normal girls 30% working. It's interesting watching the dynamics of such a diverse crowd. If I didn't get approached id start going around making conversations. I always had a decent ratio of same night success on ladies night. If I got a little drunk and impulsive and hadn't pulled, I'd take the long cab journey to wudaoku and try my luck in the clubs there. That had an even higher ratio of success. There is nothing better than pulling a hot Korean from Propoganda, cabbing it back to the CBD, telling the driver to cut through tiananmen, lighting up a joint, while fingering the Korean in the back and passing by Chairman Mao's portrait over looking the square.

Friday morning is usually wake up with a hangover and put whoever I brought back with me in a cab, hopefully after some morning sex. I'd pick up an overpriced breakfast from Starbucks and get a lift to work. I'd dick around all day in the office and munch on spicy noodles for lunch. After work id go to my favorite BBQ joint in Sihui and fill my belly with delicious spicy wings and far too much red meat while I knocked back Harbin beer (hardly a connoisseurs choice but a cold one is so good with BBQ on a warm Beijing evening). When I would finish I would go for a complete change of scenery and hit up centro bar in the Kerry Centre. I'd get a table to myself, listen to the band and scope out the crowd. Sometimes I'd approach, sometimes I wouldn't. After that it was usually on to Spark to hit on whoever was there. Again I had a decent success ratio in Spark but at around midnight on a Friday you could expect a few booty messages on wechat, "I'm in Sanlitun, where are you?" If a decent girl messaged me I would cab it to sanlitun, separate her from her group and grab some drinks in Fubar, a speakeasy attached to workers stadium right by Sanlitun. After drinks it would be back to my place for a night of fun. It's always great to roll one up after sex and have the local shop deliver 4 cold beers direct to your apartment (24 hour service, less than a dollar for a tall bottle of Tsing Dao), then curl up and watch whatever DVD I had bought for a buck recently before going for a second round and a sleep.

Saturday was my big drinking day. I'd start off by bring the girl from the night before to secret noodle in sanlitun for brunch then buy a few cheap DVD's in the shop next door, ditch her and go home to hit up the gym. After that it was on to the Spa in Chaoyang Park where I would do the Sauna plunge pool routine, followed by chilling with a smoke and a small bottle of Sake in the outdoor pool. I would often meet my friends for dinner and drinks on Saturday evening in Taiyero Teppenyaki (awesome all you can drink spot) but first I would grab a beer in Maan Coffee on the other side of gongti and scope out wechats "look around" feature for a while. The place is a goldmine on weekend evenings and is a great place to chill. After eating with friends we'd hit sanlitun hard, going a typical route of first floor-sanlitun paddies-kokomos-Vicks. It was 50/50 wether id pick up but it would be more about drinking.

Sunday's I'd hit up Lilly's in Shuangjing for a western breakfast. After that I'd cab it to the beach in Chaoyang Park and relax for a few hours and have a swim. After that I'd try and fit in a quick 1st date coffee in Solana with somebody from online. Later that evening, I'd have already arranged to meet the girl from Thursday night in Great Leap for a burger and some tasty craft beer. I'd then move her on to 1001 nights to smoke shisha and watch belly dancing with a few beers. After an hour or so there it would be back to my place for a DVD and some sex.

Laser, I take it you speak fluent Chinese? I can't imagine doing all this without knowing the language.

No not fluent. I got 100% on the HSK 2 exam but I can't take HSK 3 since I never bothered with characters. If there was pinyin for HSK 3 I'd probably scrape a pass. So I'm somewhere between very good beginner and poor intermediate. You can do most of what I said with zero Chinese, especially the dating stuff. Most educated Chinese women speak English and there are tons of foreign chicks. Taxis would be an issue but you could get around it by printing your address and getting the subway.
