^This.

As if millions of refugees flooding Europe was not enough this is the guy who just yesterday wrote an article about how Europe needs to instate birth right citizenship. "Otherwise millions of refugee children could be rendered stateless refugees".

3 days ago Zahran Alloush the infamous jihadist leader of the Islamist "Jaish al-Islam" was killed ear Damascus. Kenneth laments his death as "part of Assad's sinister plan to reduce the choice between him and ISIS".

I also remember him tweeting that "some" Eritrean refugees entering Israel might be cronies of the repressive government and should be investigated further. Not so fun when his own people are invaded i guess.

This is Mihraç Ural (on left beside Sister Mariam Agnes) a Turkish Alawite and head of the Syrian Resistance a Marxist-Leninist/Syrian Nationalist secular movement fighting the Western backed Wahabbi Islamist rebels like Al Nusra (Al-Queda), Jaysh al Islam, Ahrar Al Sham and Shuhada al Islam and the so called FSA whom many Western governments and liberal leftists describe as 'moderates'.

He is a wanted man in Turkey whom they consider as a traitor. IMHO, he is one of the good guys.

Mr. Kirby you twat, these are the guys who will bring "peace" and "security" to Syria, not the headhackers you describe as 'moderates'.

Interesting pro Assad documentary about the conflict. It points out USA backed Turkey and Saudi Arabia as the main culprits of the war. I was surprised to see beach resorts full of tourists and even a packed night club in Damascus (which doesn't seem to be fully under govt control). There's a massive contrast between the capital and the city of Homs, which has been largely devastated. Other surreal moments include people being injured by shrapnel while others, less than an hour away enjoy a concert in the Damascus. Overall, I think it greately helps to balance out the biased news that are being broadcasted regularly by the mainstream.

Any predictions on Syria in 2016?

Mine would be;

- Annihilation of terrorist entities or their ability to operate. Given the size of Syria and the concentrated Russian forces, father time is on their side. They will most likely escape to Turkey and onto Afghanistan or Libya.

- Assad retains power. No-one will oppose him in any form on the political and military front

- Syria, Iran and Iraq come together to form a loose alliance with Russia as their major super power ally. They have common enemies. (US, NATO, Saudi Arabia)

I don't know if a mutual defense pact would be on the cards but Russians are not known for standing down and forgetting what happened. Putin has been given concrete proof the Western alliance has no qualms over sacrificing entire countries for their own purpose and running rough-shod over promises made to him.

Libya is one example. Putin runs of cold logic and infuses it with an emotional response. An attack on these countries is an attack on Russia itself. It would be incredibly amusing if the likes of Hillary were sworn in as POTUS (god help us all) and guns for Iran.

Franciscan Catholic priest kidnapped near Idlib reportedly by US backed 'moderate' rebels.

Concerns are growing for the safety of a Franciscan priest in Syria who has been missing since 23rd December. Fr Dhiya Azziz, parish priest of Yacoubieh is believed to have been abducted after he left Lattakia in a taxi heading for Yacoubieh, via Hama. The 41-year old priest was on his way back to his parish for Christmas with his faithful, after a brief trip to Turkey to visit his family, that have taken refuge there since the arrival of IS rebels in Karakosh, in Iraq, his homeland.

I think the possibility of this happening is very likely. If that woman is sworn in, all bets will be off. I am only hoping its either Sanders or Trump. Both men may be at the opposite ends of the political spectrum, but they share commonality in relation to US foreign policy.

Otherwise your post is spot on.

The US doesn't want Sanders. If he can be humiliated on his stand like a husband finding his wife being fucked by another man in his own bed and closing the door gently less he disturbs them, the foreign policy of the US will be done on the whim of whatever war hawks want it.

A strong man is needed to stop them confronting Russia.

Thsi is an excellent interview that President Assad did with Dutch TV just after Christmas.

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=9be_14522...d_player=1

In it, President Assad says the following:

Guns were used by the opposition in the first week of protests.
That Europe is exporting terror to Syria.
That Europe did not do enough to combat Wahhabi terrorism in the ghettos of Paris, Brussels etc, and that European leaders were bribed into letting Saudi financed Mosques appear across Europe.

He answers the questions from the Dutch libtard reporter and throws them straight back at him despite the provocations. This is a guy who is a natural born leader. President Assad along with Vladimir Putin, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah of Hezbollah and President Rohani of Iran are the only ones genuinely fighting Sunni Wahabbi terrorism. The video is a must watch, especially around the 6 minute mark.

WASHINGTON — When President Obama secretly authorized theCentral Intelligence Agency to begin arming Syria’s embattled rebels in 2013, the spy agency knew it would have a willing partner to help pay for the covert operation. It was the same partner the C.I.A. has relied on for decades for money and discretion in far-off conflicts: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Since then, the C.I.A. and its Saudi counterpart have maintained an unusual arrangement for the rebel-training mission, which the Americans have code-named Timber Sycamore. Under the deal, current and former administration officials said, the Saudis contribute both weapons and large sums of money, and the C.I.A takes the lead in training the rebels on AK-47 assault rifles and tank-destroying missiles.

Terrorists have got anti-aircraft equipment now.

Russians have lost in battle anti aircraft complex "Kvadrat" (export variation of the infamous BUK which Russians used to shoot down the MH17 plane). This is a serious piece of equipment, very advanced.

This is according to Russian news sources.

Assad's army has a lot of deserting personnel and very likely that some of them are trained how to use it.

Assad is progressing ridiculously fast in Latakia with Russian airsupport- Rabia and Salma have fallen and soon SAA will take the whole province, and probably the large pocket between Homs and Hama(they have made gains and are close to splitting the pocket into two). However, the progress is slow in other areas since the SAA is increasingly fighting in dense urban pockets around Aleppo/Idlib against tough opponents like the Islamists and veteran wahhabis in the Al-Nusra Front(al-qaedas front in syria, spearheaded nearly every single rebel advance.) In addition, Turkey has pivoted completely towards more moderate rebels and is currently shelling the living shit out of ISIS, which will probably give the rebels much of the area not controlled by the Kurds along the turkish border.

Also, Krieg, alot of weaponry has been taken from the Deir-el Ezzor advance like those missiles, but they still don't have the platforms or equipment to use them- the airport and main weapons depot are extremely heavily fortified and Assad/Russia would probably let the rest of the city fall rather than give these strategic areas up.

Sultan Erdogan seems to be struggling with the concept of sovereignty. For someone who only a couple of months ago believed borders were sacrosanct and justified his shooting down a RuAF jet he has since invaded Iraq and is firing artillery shells at Syrian government forces in Syria. Time this piece of terrorist scum was subjected to international sanctions instead of being handed billions of euros of EU taxpayers' money.

Latest news from Syria:

Latakia

The SAA despite shelling from Turkish Army positions inside Turkey have been steadily pushing north in the Latakia province towards the Turkish border with the help of Hezbollah and Christian militias. The Turkish and Western backed Sunni Islamist 'moderate' rebels like Jaysh al Fatah and other Al Queda/FSA/Turkman affiliated groups are in full retreat.

The SAA are mopping up in the strategically important town of Kinsibba, flushing out the remaining 'moderate' Jabhat al Nusra and 'FSA' with the help of RuAF who have been conducting 20+ sorties against the 'moderate' rebels.

Quote:Quote:

Kinsibba was once a flourishing village in the Kurdish Mountains that was known for its orchards and beautiful hilltops; its populous was mainly Antiochian Orthodox Christians until they fled the Islamist rebels of Jabhat Al-Nusra and the Free Syrian Army (FSA).
Kinsibba, Al-Ghassaniyah, Halouz, and Slunfeh were among the most densely populated Christian villages in both the Latakia and Idlib governorates – almost all of these civilians fled to Slunfeh, which is the only one of those four villages under the Syrian Arab Army’s control.

Aleppo

The SAA are pushing north for the Turkish border and west to close the salient. 'Moderate' rebels in Aleppo City will soon be cut off from their Turkish and Western suppliers.

Heavy fighting as SAA Tiger Forces approach Thermal power plant
and capture a new village

In this video, here we see a 2S1 self propelled artillery piece Gvozdika doing direct fire
- several Hull Down tanks firing.
- A tank destroying a VBIED
We also see BMP-1s in action, bringing Infantry to their positions and Infantry advancing to the town supported by a tank

Result: Village captured, 18 Daesh KIA, BMP-1 captured, several HMG rockets and mortars and a Slat armoured T-55 (probably from Iraq) captured.
Also the Daesh insignia reads says "Jaysh Khilafa". That's their elite unit.

These guys are the only IS troops which aren't permanently attached to a single province. They constantly redeploy from one hotspot to another.

The last scene of video shows the smoke stakes of the thermal power plant

RuAF in action today in Syria where it destroyed 'moderate' rebel ammo convoy near Aleppo.

Turkey is panicking that the SAA along with the Kurds are fast sealing off Syria's border to Turkey depriving ISIS and the 'moderate' rebels of much needed supply line.

Turkish Army is now shelling from Turkey into Syria creating the possibility of a direct military confrontation with Russia.

Quote:Quote:

ssia Today has reported that the Russian Defense Ministry have presented video evidence it says shows Turkish military shelling Syrian territory using heavy artillery positioned close to the border. Syria’s General Staff has provided its Russian counterparts with video footage of deployment of self-propelled large caliber artillery vehicles at a Turkish frontier post, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said at media briefing on Monday. Syrian opposition groups have also provided video evidence of the Turkish military shelling Syrian territory, he added. “This is what we call a fact. This is irrefutable proof that Turkish armed forces shell borderline Syrian settlements with large-caliber artillery systems,” Konashenkov stressed. “We expect an immediate reaction and explanations of the actions of Turkish military by NATO and the Pentagon,” Konashenkov said, recalling the US’s notably short response time to Ankara’s allegations that a Russian warplane violated Turkish airspace.

Erdogan is gambling on NATO backing him, hence his belligerent behaviour.

SAA and Hezbollah fast completing the encirclement of Western and Turkish backed 'moderate' rebels around Aleppo. They will link up with the Kurds very soon unless Erdogan sends in his forces

Quote:Quote:

The Syrian Armed Forces and their allies would officially seize the village of Tal Jibbin two hours later, resulting in a disorganized retreat for the Islamist rebels to the nearby towns of Tal Hardatineen (west) and Ahras (north). If the Islamist rebels are unable to halt the government forces advance in northern Aleppo, the latter could expand west towards the besieged village of Al-Zahra’a and Nubl, which could ultimately end in the main Islamist supply route from Turkey being cutoff.

According to US reports on that map, Russia is working with Hezbollah to take down Assad. According to Putin, Russia is working with Assad to take control of his country and the US is supporting rebels to take down Assad.

This is a dark war, and there is zero information available on.

The strength of ISIS on that map is most worrying, however.

According to that map seems like aleppo is surrounded as well as the area north of homs. How long before the encirclement and the take over is completed? Assad mentioned in that dutch interview that i will drag on for years as long as the saudis and turkey keep financing the rebels but if they don't the whole territory will be taken back under a year.

There is also talk about a full on turkish invasion. If this happens, what would be the russian/iranian response? Turkey is already struggling with bankrupting resorts becuase of the russian embargo, they might not have a choice now but to go all in.

With further dumping of Iranian oil into the the market, I think the price of oil i likely to remain in the 20s-30s for the next 3-5 years which should force the saudi's to go all in as well. Bloody years ahead.

YPG(Kurds in yellow) have now joined Assad from the west in the taking that cut off rebel region along the Turkish border from nusra and allied islamists. YPG in the east is planning to take Manbij from Isis and eventually connect the cantons, supported covertly by NATO military support(US foreign policy is seriously schizophrenic(supporting the kurds and the turks at the same time?)). This all basically points the rise of the Kurds as a official 4th faction, to the benefit of Assad but basically spells the doom of ISIS and more moderate islamists along the border.

About the turkish invasion, there have been articles stating that most of turkish society and even the military are afraid of fighting a war with Russia and exacerbating the PKK conflict/increasing chaos in general, but Erdogan is a complete loose cannon and wildcard.
