Looks like Aleppo is very close to being fully liberated after close to 5 years.

This is an interview with Assad from October. Very interesting and he speaks English very well and eloquently. Heard his wife speak too in another interview, and she has a British accent.

Always irks me when Old Media say the 'rebels are [insert bullshit here] or that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The former is a group of terrorists who are the same organisation we've been fighting since the 1990's and murder civilians and POWs for the fun of it and kept civilians in areas they infest. Which Old Media says are fleeing government forces! [Image: lol.gif]

The latter is a guy in his goddam house in the UK! How does that guy get pushed to the forefront all the time? Smells of globalists.

Obama: ISIS’ Ability To Launch ‘Major Land Offensives,’ Wasn’t On My Intel ‘Radar Screen’

Quote:Quote:

During an interview set to air on Wednesday’s CNN special, “The Legacy of Barack Obama,” an excerpt of which was aired on Wednesday’s “New Day,” President Obama answered a question on whether the rise of ISIS surprised him by saying that “The ability of ISIL to initiate major land offensives, that was not on my intelligence radar screen.”

For fuck's sake, do you even President?
If only ISIS had invaded a golf course, I'm sure Barry would have nuked them back into the stone age they came from!

^^

I see only two options:

1) That the intelligence services of the USA, the most powerful nation in the world, a nation which spends hundreds of billions on its military and security apparatus, couldn't predict the rise of a ragtag horde of goatfuckers in a region currently affected by a power vacuum following the withdrawal of US forces from there;

2) That they could, but wouldn't do anything about it, since the corrupt political elites running the same nation actively collude with Saudi Arabia and Qatar in fostering the rise of ISIS, with the ultimate goal being to thwart Iranian influence in the region.

I can't decide which one is more horrific.

ISIS launching offensive to retake Palmyra.

This coincides with the Aleppo ceasefire and desperation to get out before they're crushed. it is also very important to the current US administration to get their CIA/Special forces out of there before the truth comes out. Or they want to assassinate the terrorist leaders themselves when they're out in the open.

Safe passage for terrorists? Russia and SAA know whats up but the chance to get civilians out and perhaps shoot tango's in the open is an opportunity they don't want to miss.

Both of these occurred on 9/10th December. How did a group of supposedly different group of terrorists coordinate so well together when they're not good bed fellows?

The puppet master is pulling the strings.

Trump cannot get into power soon enough. The Russian airforce is stretched around the country and this leaves other cities open to terrorists.

If we are supposedly attacking terrorists in that area and Iraq, how is it that they can move around with impunity unless bombed by Russia & SAA?

Update: ISIS has retaken Palmyra.

A decent place to find information is https://www.reddit.com/r/syriancivilwar/. There can be some louder opinions (like on every forum) but its otherwise very helpful in understanding the local area of conflict.

I remember the Western press showing off the Palmyra open air concert which was used as an executioners square. Gloating in the face of IS. I wonder what IS will do to gloat back.

NSFW links in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/syriancivilwar/...n/db2c9br/

I believe this is the chronic problem facing Russia and soon to be the US. Outside of so-called Elite forces they cannot hold ground to save themselves. Losing equipment is one thing but losing able-bodied men is going to hurt them in the long run.

EDIT: POV from the US side with video.

A big pity they were able to retake the ancient city of Palmyra.
I remember that in the Summer they sent some top rank politicians to attend this open air concert Foolsgo mentioned. It was a big PR all over the news here in Russia. What a shame that they didn't leave enough Russian military personnel there to guard the territory of the city (now, for me it looks like they left with the musicians). Alone, the Syrian army is outnumbered in Eastern Homs, what they need in more modern weapons and a lot of MI-24s. Too bad Assad is running out of cash.

BTW, some Russian news are now saying the jihadists have been again pushed out of Palmyra by Russian air strikes. Lets wait and hope it is true.
How does a Russian air strike on jihadists look like? check out here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ee_HZO37Mk0

Russia has a limited force across a large country with violent mercenary armies all over the place. If Russia wants to guard every town and city it needs to commit more men and stop relying on the majority of the ground forces there already.

If a town is recaptured which took weeks of fighting you tend to get pissed off and moral suffers. To see a complete rout of friendly forces and absolutely no comeback it will have consequences. The problem they have is lack of surveillance and communication, not just fighting.

How did an enemy force get so close to your position that the only option was to withdraw, less you have another head cutting mass murder take place? This was relevant in Roman times and Julius Caesar himself noted a sleepy guardsman could prove disastrous.

We have drones, satellites and spy planes. We have binoculars that can see to the horizon and noting this, the area Palmyra is located in has hills and mountains. They were still caught off-guard. I don't blame them for running but wars are not run by retreating every time the enemy shows its face.

Very good video on the current situation and on a major platform no less! She should watch her back as I doubt many people would want her voice to be heard.

It has been a real eye opener on how far the old media is going down the rat hole they've dug. Every night the news has been about how civilians and rebels are being slaughtered by Russia and FSA. No mention of Kurds by the way, its as if they don't even exist!

No mention of why civilians couldn't leave rebel-held areas. No mention of the civilians being held for fear of being killed by terrorists or are all for them. No government forces were shooting civilians trying to get out and here we are, seeing exactly that sort of ie being perpetuated.

There may be a movement to call Russia on war crimes at international level and that this Aleppo siege is on their conscience. They're about to stoop low so when Trump finally meets Putin we will see an epic shit fit on the global political stage. [Image: lol.gif]

Here is another video with her in:

So many photos from Gaza 2014, Lebanon 2006, and Iraq are being passed around as 'Massacre of Aleppo' on the net. Why would Assad' regime kill random civilians, women and children, right after it has won the battle and kicked out 95% of the opposition and are in control of the city almost titally?! No body is that stupid. Yet it's being churned out as "fact".

Unbelievable, I assume MSM has them all 24/7 now as well, "Syrian army is burning civilians alive" , "Rwanda all over again" ...I don't watch TV, I wouldn't know..but it's shit how far the Saudi/Qatar money goes into influencing the media and their "think thanks" and analysts. They've been proven wrong and to be lying so many times, and a lot recently...yet a lot of normal people still buying their crap.

People soon forget that terrorists enjoy using human shields and enjoy killing them when it suits. But Assad is a bad man and must be removed! Nothing to do with oil pipelines whatsoever, no sir.

I would laugh if it wasn't for the fact this sort of propaganda can have devastating results.

Anyway, here is the interview in which she destroys Hussein with basic facts.

On Liveleak Syria section there are some interesting videos. You even see the Red Crescent bus out and protect thousands of terrorists and their families too. CIA mercs were definitely amongst that lot I'm sure of it.

This is far from over.

The conflict was clear from the start - globalist governments using various bunch of radical Caliphate mercs and secret service operatives to get rid of the next secular government in Middle East. The globalists are not afraid of the Islamists - they don't want strong independently minded secular Muslim countries - those are more dangerous than the brainwashed Christian states if they get any smarter in the future.

The war will continue by the way - even if they lose now. The globalists never give up. They will attempt again in a few years or a decade or two.

Not only that, Islamists have been using women and children in combat forever.

Just within the past week you had the 12-year-old bomber in Germany, two 8-year-old "suicide" bombers in Nigeria, and another Nigerian woman with a baby on her back and a bomb strapped to her body who got shot trying to blow up a checkpoint.

Yet you get these crocodile tears every time a woman or child is killed.

The black flag isn't Al'qaeda, the white placards and flags are. Can't tell if the black flag of ISIS is at the front there but they are also flying plain black flags which have been linked to Jihadi groups.

You know those funny Chinese translations to English we all get to laugh at? Well this is the Jihad version, but instead of laughing you are left wondering what the fuck those flags are saying and if they actually are the actual flags used as symbols of the same groups we have been fighting since the 90s.

I guarantee you if you went up to them and said why you're flying terrorist flags they will say they aren't and you are racist for insulting their religion. They are sketchy and untrustoworthy yet they're allowed to gather in large numbers and fly terrorist flags on British streets.

You can not make this up! They're not even 10% of the UK population and they are so brazen.

EDIT: Here are the rebels thanking the bus drivers and the Assad regime for allowing them out.
