This is pretty much confirming what everyone who was red pilled thought. They were working their way through the Pizzagate subreddit and eventually wanted to shut down the_donald subreddit.

I'm fairly certain people have been sent to jail due to reddit posts. What does this legally mean now?

It means anyone charged with saying mean things on reddit now has another defence the prosecution must disprove beyond reasonable doubt: "prove the fucking mods didn't change my post." With this admission as proof of the capability of mods and past record in changing posts.
