Would the Jamaican cannabis World Cup in negril be a good move to make?

So I have a vacation coming up the same time this event is going on and I'm thinking about taking a trip down to negril to check it out. I've searched the forum for past posts on negril and the most common response was that negril was pretty laid back and not much of a place for nightlife. My question is does anyone think that the first cannabis cup in Jamaica will bring a lot of people there? I would be going on this trip dolo and will be using this trip to relax and get away. But I am definitely trying to game while I'm there. Anyone got any helpful info go me?

They don't have the proper genetics (strains), that have been selectively bred for the highest quality like they have been doing for decades in California and Holland. They also don't have their cultivation and curing techniques down as well.

Jamaicans farmers barely put any nutrients into their soil to feed the plant, without proper nutrition the plants don't reach their potential.

Finally once they have harvested it they often let it hang in a makeshift shack with no ventilation, no humidity control, and quite often the buds are getting hit by direct sunlight with is absolutely no good. That is why 90% of the time Jamaican ganja has an ugly brown color.

If only their farmers would get up to date with more advanced techniques with better genetics then you'd start seeing better quality.

Lastly they don't manicure their stuff, you get these long leafy buds still on the stock, it looks nothing like the dank you'd get in a jar at a dispensary in California.

Hands down Northern California, with the rest of the state coming in second place. After that maybe Oregon or Colorado... Internationally I'd say Holland and British Colombia are on the list as well.

I agree about California stuff but I would like to make it out to Colorado. Generally speaking I find medical grade stuff way more potent than herb from the street. Thanks for the information and I too went to a farm in Jamaica in March and I was pretty disappointed.

Nowadays I stick to brownies. Virtually undetectable and they last much longer. They are much more mellow too.

Spain is probably better than Holland now, its a bit like Holland was in the 90's. More cannabis clubs in Barcelona thann in Amsterdam these days.

Probably less rules as well.

The Dutch regulate the shit out of weed. You'd probably get into more trouble smoking it on the street than you would in Australia or some other nazi state.
