There's no crying in baseball, especially if you're a Mets player.

Side note: Angels need to sack up they're always losing to the fucking Astro's of all fucking things.

As long as the Yankees continue to kick ass, I'm all good.

People need to get off Flores. He did nothing wrong. If anything, this episode has endeared him to the fans. He just made a good play in the 1st just now, and he received a standing ovation. This kid has been with the organization since he was 16. So for 2/3 of his life, he was a little kid. The other third he has been a Met. Most players get emotional when they are traded for the first time. It usually doesn't play out on the field like this. Collins mishandled the situation, but I understand where he's coming from.

I was pissed when I heard the trade fell through. I'm happy now because it ended with Cespedes.

It was a joke relax - and how could you not say "there's no crying in baseball" - one of the famous lines ever.

I know exactly why he was upset - started out young and his first trade. It shows he's got alot of heart and investment into his team.

I just wouldn't cry publicly - as a man you shouldn't. That's just my opinion.

I get it. I'm just sick of hearing the joke I suppose.

I swore off going to Citi Field as long as the Wilponzis are owners.

Giving up 2 prospects for a 60 day rental is always a tough pill to swallow. At least with Gomez there was an extra year of control for 2016 where NYM could retool up the middle plus have that young stud rotation have another off-season to grow and mature. Personally i would've just loved to see how much ground Gomez and Lagares could cover together. They could've probably put Granderson out in the bullpen and still have nothing drop in the out field.

As a Baltimore fan, the Gerardo Parra pickup has me on the fence. Giving up a controllable 5 year high floor low ceiling pitcher for a 2 monther is what it is.... Parra is having a career year at the plate and defensively could be the best right fielder in the game. Time will tell.

It seems only one of the prospects was highly regarded. He's a pitcher which the Mets have in spades. They needed a big bat for this atrocious offense. If it wins the division, it's worth it.

As a Nationals fan, I don't know if I should be excited for an almost untouchable combo of Storen and Papelbon in the 8th and 9th, or be angry that the deal has probably cost the Nats a chance to keep Storen beyond next year.

You know what, Papelbon came from Philly, so I'm gonna hate. The Nats woulda been better off getting Clippard back from the A's.

My Cardinals are just doing what they do, however I'm thinking it could be an early exit out of the playoffs if they don't get Holliday back.

That said...just wanted to mention that every time someone on this team hits a double (or "getting to second base") the guy on second grabs some titties and then the dugout reciprocates the gesture. This has been going on since Opening Day and it has been bothering the hell out our beta broadcasters.

Kind of like this:

This is still in play....

Although Miami isn't making it, it is somewhat prophetic as the movie was made in 1989, but Miami didn't come into the league until 1993.

...but Go Royals!
