I just watched Jurrasic World yesterday and it was OK. I just think that original is better.

It was "Roaring Currents" a korean film about the Battle of Myeongnyang a naval battle in the Imjin War. Basically Japan invading Korean in the 1590's.

Trailer here.

I never walk out of a movie but I almost walked out of this one because I was so infuriated by the historical inaccuracies. Now I normally don't care if a movie based on history isn't 100% accurate but what happened in this movie is that they changed the story so it'd be more melodramatic. It completely ruined the movie because what really happened was so amazing that it didn't need embellishment and any embellishment would make it less amazing. Like if someone made a movie about Hannibal invading Rome but they needlessly added a part about Hannibal and his men fighting giant lizards in the Alps while crossing it. Nothing that stupid happened but it was stupid unneccessary things.

The production values were superb and it was nice to visually see what I've only read about but overall very disappointing.

I only go to the movies in third world shit holes because its so cheap, I refuse to go in Canada where a night out with a girl can easily run $50, as such the last movie I saw was a Colombian rom-com called Corazón De León about a white Colombian midget who ends up banging a hot afro-Colombian chica, all of the RVF Colombia guys who know me will get the humour is this:

Mission Impossible 5

Positives: Interesting and smart spy conspiracy plot that is both intriguing but not too complicated to understand in a single watching. Movie has more emphasis on plot and dialoge rather then action which is also decent but nothing special. Some good humor.

Negatives: Main female character has a lot of unnatural male ass kicking sequences. She plays a lot of mysterious femme fatale and viewers constantly are left to wonder whether she is really on the good or bad side. I think this implants in viewers the idea that it is okay for a woman to be morally ambiguous and we should root for women for being like that. Tom Cruise falls for her for no good reason.

Aside from the cliches seen only by those who have taken the red pill the movie is a rather good entertainment in a general way, would recommend for dates.

Seeing the previous Mission Impossible movies is not required to enjoy the movie.

I would also like to see the movie "Man from U.N.C.L.E" can anyone say is it good or bad from both general and red pill perspective?

Ex Machina.

Loved it, especially the role of the billionaire guy, the compound / facilities, and the idea something like this is actually possible.

Same here. I liked it so much I bought the BluRay. Such a badass movie.

Not the year, the movie.

Am I the only one who just gets terribly bored watching movies in theaters?

Wasn't bad but I thought it'd be better after watching the trailer.

Blew my expectations away. Gyllenhaal absolutely kills it.

Highly recommended.

Took a date to see it last week - was very entertaining. Great action, cheesy and predictable comedy, but fitting and tasteful. I recommend it. I never saw the original TV series that it stems from but it's pretty good for a reboot. 7/10 WB

I want to take my mother to see the new Mission Impossible. She loves those movies and Tom Cruise.

Kind of interested in Southpaw though it looks incredibly cliché.

Southpaw...

Honestly, Jake Gyllenhaall was exceptionally good in it. It was definitely the best movie I've seen in 2015.

Straight Outta Compton last Thursday. Enjoyed it, though it was probably 15-20 minutes too long. Last movie I saw in the cinema before that was World War Z. I don't go to many movies, mainly just watch them on Netflix.

Ant-Man was the last one I saw - enjoyed it.

Seeing Straight Outta Compton this evening.

I seriously can't WAIT for Deadpool, they're actually keeping a lot of his qualities.

Why do you think it sucks after you initially liked it?

I do not even remember what it was, but I decided I will never go to the cinema again.

Expensive, too many people, and too many fucking idiotic ads before the movie. I thought I will blow my brains out during the ads. I do not watch TV since more than 5 years, so I can not take ads anymore.

A film called The Escapist, around 7 years ago now. I had mostly completely lost interest in seeing new films in cinemas by that point but this was actually pretty good.
