How does game rating in NYC score against Vegas?

I prefer New York, but that's mostly just personal style. I like "real" cities with some history. The older, the better. Your city is one of my favourite.

Vegas is great for a few days, but I can't stand it for more than that.

Consider staying in New York during the week, and Vegas at the weekend. The girls in Vegas at weekends are there to party.

Well it's ironic that I can't wait to get out of London for a week then!

Maybe I'll adjust my trip like this:

Friday Travel / LAS
Saturday / LAS
Sunday / LAS
Monday / LAS
Tuesday / NYC
Wednesday / NYC
Thursday / NYC
Friday / NYC
Saturday / Travel Home

Flight prices are getting crazy high so I need to book asap.

Will do. What's Dallas like (for a Londoner?)

Eh...I haven't been to London. But like someone said, you're gonna need a car for the trip. However, Uber is a great option. Airbnb close to the metro area would also be a good call. Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe Dallas isn't the best idea for this trip. Nightlife options are certainly available. But logistically, it's gonna to tough and pricey. Go to New York or Chocago. Maybe Atlanta. Memphis. Miami. These are cultural hubs that rival London.

Edit - Just saw your itinerary. Looks good. Almost forgot that Vegas hotels are a great budget option.

Thank you for your help. That itinerary isn't set in stone, I am open to other suggestions - I am still considering going up to Minneapolis for a few days too en route to NYC.

If you're willing to lower your standards, you'll get some love in Boston.

Lots of museums, your money will go farther, and the weather should still be moderate enough to snag ladies along Newbury street.

If I had 7 days I wouldn't choose to travel to 3 cities, in 3 different parts of the country. Too many flights and too short of time in each place. Having only couple days to get bangs is enough in Vegas, but anywhere else you're better off spending the full 7 there to give yourself a chance of not only the SNL but meeting up and banging a few days later. I'd pick one destination and stay there.

Well, in great British tradition, I seem to spend every waking hour of my regular time in NYC pretty inebriated.

Just open every single girl with some cliched British nonsense...catnip.

None of this, "oh my gaaaaawd, you've had 2 drinks this week, you're an alcoholic" thing a lot of Americans seem to subscribe to.

You sir, have obviously not been to Wisconsin. Its like Wales in terms of alcohol consumption.

to the OP, I'm trying to think of cities where white bitches are pretentious and wish they were english...so definitely Charlotte (girls with southern accents), Savannah Georgia, NYC, as a real roll of the dice I's also reccomend Minneapolis, MN. You'll definitely be unique with your accent and the weather will be spectacular in early October.

Hi thanks for your reply I've been closely looking at Minneapolis. It's just somewhere I would never have considered which is why I like the idea.

Would a London accent really stand out like you say it would and what is the nightlife like? I'd be there Friday-Monday.

I would recommend Atlanta, New Orleans or Tampa/Orlando. All three have excellent nightlife and plenty of good looking women and are culturally distinct from the East Coast. You wouldn't need a car for NO, but would for the other two.

OK - so I have priced up a week in Austin, and it's looking good. Although I will have to travel via NYC and connect on Southwest to AUS - but it saves me £400 which will pay for the hotel.

I just want to check that Austin will suit a 32 year old English guy from London, and that I am not wasting my time and money on a place thats just not my scene and will feel old! Even though I look late 20's.

Thanks

EDIT: I have just found out that The Austin City Limits Music Festival is on the week I want to visit and the hotel prices are RIDICULOUS to say the least. Like £2k+. Back to the drawing board.

Well after so much trouble with hotel/airbnb prices... I still have yet to make a final decision with just 6 weeks until departure. This is my first solo trip so I guess thats also affecting the trip - I.E 100% of costs not being split with my group of friends + spending cash + keeping the game objective alive.

I have a flight booked to Chicago and I am in the USA from 2-10 October, but the hotels are just making my eyes water in comparison to Vegas where they are so much more affordable and a lot nicer in some cases - so I am still open to just grabbing a cheap connection to somewhere else on the same day - like Vegas for example.

I am also concerned with Vegas though as most tail will be out with groups, and with me being solo and having no wingman, it will be a hard gig.

As previously mentioned, Austin TX was my first choice but The Austin City Limits Music Festival is on the week I want to visit - hence making the hotel prices unrealistic.

I am truly confused and losing the will to live if anyone can help me out make some decisions here, it would be very much appreciated.

I know what your saying mate. The hotel prices are through the roof .I'll be in Arizona from 1 Oct then Vegas with a bucks party on the 8th..
Just book a hotel for 1 or 2 days for when you land then do a recon, make friends.Talk to every fucker and drop the "you know any cool places to stay" line.
Don't forget backpacker hostels.Although not many in Arizona.

Austin would probably be the better of the two places for what you're trying to do.

ATL is quite cool lots of quirky neighbourhoods and the locals were more receptive. I travel to the states most weeks but don't agree with how easy it is. Tbh I find the bullshit there just as bad if not worse than the UK. Just my individual experience.

Thanks to all, I'm booked in for Chicago and I'm just gonna go for it.

@Captain Carnage - that's interesting, would you mind elaborating?

Thanks!

I travel to states with my work very often as a rough guess 3 times a month. Admittedly my stays are short but I have been doing this since 2007. I have travelled to NYC,BOS,IAD,MCO, ATL,ORD,LAX,LAS,SFO. I find that whilst you may not get a downright negative response from the girls over there, I do find that apart from sometimes hearing "ooh your English" and a bit of light banter later nothing more occurs. I do make approaches and do try to game via the net. Just find the place is generally very overrated. I do quite well in Asia and have quite a fun personality so struggle to understand why I can't meet someone despite travelling to that area very often. Just my view.

If slaying poon is your goal and for whatever reason you don't want/can't go to NYC, I agree with above that Chicago and/or Dallas should be your goal.

It depends what you're after exactly on which one you should choose (as far as girls go, I am only talking about white girls and latinas here):

Prettier faces:
Dallas. While they are good in Chicago, Dallas has a very distinct edge here. Plus, while I was very impressed by the Latinas I saw in Dallas, the few I saw in Chicago underwhelmed me.

Bodies:
If it wasn't for the obesity crisis, I would say Chicago. There are some very impressive bodies in Chitown, and while they are very good in Dallas, they don't quite compare. Sadly, the obesity crisis has wrecked many what would other wise be great bodies in both cities.

Blondes:
If she has to be blonde, Dallas may not be the place for you. I saw surprisingly few blondes there, even if you excluded the Latinas. Chicago is full of blondes.

Latinas:
If she has to be Latina, Chicago may not be the place for you. While Chicago is supposed to have a large Hispanic population, the night spots I went to (River North, Damen & Milwaukee, Wrigleyville), the few Latinas I saw did not impress. Dallas has the best looking Latinas that I have ever seen in the US & Canada.

Attitudes:
In both cities I found girls had good attitudes towards approaches (certainly much better than DC, Toronto, Copenhagen, or London), but Dallas (at least uptown Dallas - which is where you need to go if you go) had a distinct edge over Chicago. I got much more and much more obvious IOIs in Dallas. Though, I'm not sure how much your British accent will impress against a Southern Drawl. Be interesting to see if there is any effect.

Sights:
Chicago is definitely the prettier city with some pretty fantastic architecture and culture. It is without question the most beautiful skyscraper city in the world that doesn't use its natural setting as a crutch (such as SF, Seattle, and Vancouver). Dallas isn't ugly, just dull.

Weather:
Chicago weather can be iffy, but hopefully it should be nice in October. Dallas comes with less risk.

Thank you for the low down that's really helpful.

Definitely a blonde kinda guy and I looked at the main cities in TX, especially Dallas, very closely when I realised Austin was a no go on hotel prices the week I'm going due to the music festival.

The main reason I didn't go with Dallas, like you pointed out, is simply because Chicago does look quite stunning. Combine that with some of the great things that I have read on here about game in Chicago too... I am intrigued.

I obviously want/hope the London accent will help me out but I'm not sure where I go will greatly impact my success rates because of it.

Chicago is interesting, but I am going to be one of those guys who advocates for tier 2 cities and not tier 1, those being NYC, DC, MIA, SF, LA, and BOS mostly. I don't really have a good reading on where CHI falls, I feel like it's kind of on the border. For whatever reason, I've been blessed with the gift of good mimicry/accents, which several English/Australian people have told me are the best nonnative rendition of them they've ever heard of their respective accent.

Having made liberal use of this gift, especially in the early stages of learning the game to eliminate approach anxiety (who's afraid when the girls universally swoon over your voice?), I have found a much higher reception from girls in smaller cities. The reasoning is pretty simple; girls in the biggest cities are much more used to hearing it around, being in a more cosmopolitan location. Chances are also probably good they've been banged out by some foreign cock in their time as well.

Conversely, your accent is shockingly exotic and intriguing to these other girls (esp. in the south and Midwest). Carnage rightly points out that while the accent will open the door, you will still need good game afterwards to step in.

Best of luck, I really wish Austin could have worked out for your sake; I'm a big fan of the place.

Good points made above. Out of all the US cities I named above I did find Chicago and Atlanta were better places to make conversation and some headway in meeting folks. Chicago is a beautiful city and has a really diverse music scene. Maybe that could be the place for you!
