I approached a few of the same groups unknowingly to the group and they spoke English to me and not to him. A local that is a friend of my friend showed me around said/ if he is darker skinned some may think he is Gypsy off the bat or a Turk/Arab which contributed to negative response he got.

My friend is medium height, little overweight, decent style, practicing game pretty hardcore under my tutelage. So beware if you are brown in Romania. If you open with good English though I believe this can be easily overcome. Do not expect a welcome matt. I look Romanian enough except for my height some people started talking to me in Romanian.

1. No the trip is too short & rushed and I am at about 60% mentally & physically (I was 50/50 on cancelling this trip 2 weeks ago, and I would have cancelled if it weren't for my friend and I having planned it long ago, and I believe I can gain enough insight even playing handicapped) I've only had short conversations & approaches. I think after doing so many approaches over so many years, and going to so many countries & cultures I have a good understanding without having to go on many full dates though and feel out the potential.

2. Be gentle & confident. Of course learn the their language if you can. There is a lot of potential in Romania for me personally. If I was 100% and stayed for two months, learned some basic Romanian phrases it would be easy to get a high quality girlfriend I think. These girls do seem social circle oriented and want to know a guy is sticking around (the LTR ones and even the night club girls as far as my experience). EE girls are sweet and straight forward like Asian girls can be except my status as a foreigner is not enough for them to take a risk quickly dating and sleeping with me (kind of like how Vietnamese girls are).

3. Strangely enough I think I can especially after the stares I got in Cluj, yet my gut is saying to keep searching or end up in Vietnam later. I can't explain why, my gut is just telling me to play it that way. I 100% give my stamp of approval to Romanian girls having good LTR potential. I spent 3 hours with a Romanian girlfriend who tagged along with me and her boyfriend to a tourist attraction. She was very sweet, took the back seat in conversation. Never gave the guy an ounce of stress or whining, cheerful, easy going.

Now back when I went to Vietnam last summer. My American buddy's girlfriend gave us a ride to the airport. Man I had about 4 different headaches just on the 2 hour ride down to the airport in traffic. I was high on weed, that didn't even help.

4. The only culturally off putting thing is that I am spoiled by Vietnamese and Colombians that welcomed me with open arms where as in Romania they take a bit to warm up. To make true I think would take a few months of effort if not longer. Social circles seem tight. Still better than Mexico!

The local diet in Romania is a lot of sour cream, cheese, fatty meat, pastries. Thankfully they have many restaurants that serve other food.

The unnecessary premature aging of women from smoking, staying out late, bad diet from a young age, and seemingly large lack of gym culture.

Coming from me especially saying you seeing a ton of mid 6's in Cluj (at least until they are 25 and start aging horrifically) and high 6's in Timisoara is a very high average.

8's are rare from what I saw in Romania only a handful I saw between the streets and one of the highest end clubs in Cluj. I saw many more 8's in Colombia. Though the median girl is a few steps lower. I've heard you go to Bucharest for 8's anyways.

Very interesting observations about EE girls in this thread.

Aging also happens because of air pollution (link). Bucharest is the second most polluted capital in Europe. If people are not breathing smoke, by smoking cigarettes, they're breathing polluted air. Women are terribly aged indeed. I went to a yoga class in that area and the yoga teacher (age 27) had a banging body, ex-gymnast, but her face was aged as fuck. Really disappointing. It's just that the skin is not clear. And she's not a smoker I suppose. After 30, they look old.

As far as age difference between couples. People marry early. And when they marry early, they usually pick people they're going to school with (college or high school), so that's why there isn't much of an age difference.

As far as dating foreigners. Girls have a social circle that's mostly local. How's a foreigner going to be incorporated into that social circle? It's a concern for them, if they want to stay in their country. Romania is not some third world country, a lot of people are happy staying there.

A risk with bringing a girl from abroad is that she can get very nostalgic. She might be very lonely here. I've seen it with couples that move from Europe to the US. The guy works, making very good money, but the woman gets bored. She tries studying, does this and that and finally decides to go back to Europe. You can say you have a 20% chance of this happening and it's difficult to predict, because she can only guess how she'll feel in the US. The risk might be higher if you're American, because she won't be able to communicate well with your friends. It'll be good to find a girl that already has the idea of going abroad.

The aging in Timisora vs. Cluj was like day & night. Cluj aging really threw me for a loop sounds like Bucharest may be similar. I was paranoid all EE could be as bad or worse than Cluj. Timisora & Belgrade have taught me not all cities have horrific aging.

How long can an American stay in Romania? If I'm just doing whatever I want to do, there's a limit to how long I can stay in most of these countries.

It just seems like there's a giant elephant in the room no one's talking about here, wife hunting for three months? That's a rough proposition, I'd want a year or more to get to know someone.

If I don't have to work and just want to go to Romania and do whatever I want to do for a year or two (not getting Romanian employment, not attending language classes, etc.), I don't believe I can stay that long, right?

I believe they allow you to stay 90 days out of 180. That's not practical, so any other considerations are a moot point, aren't they?

Just curious if there's some way to stay there as long as I want without having to go through hoops. Some countries do allow this, and they're awesome, but I don't think Romania is one of them.

Yes you should definitely go for date 3. Usually in the Balkans the three date rule applies in most cases with the normal prettier girls who are not party sluts. The only problem is that you did not get the make out on date 2. You should have pushed for a short make out at the end. That is usually a good setting for the third date if you have made out on date 2.

I don't know about your travel plans but the best day for a date 3 is usually a Thursday night. Girls are more relaxed because the next day the weekend is starting already. What always worked well in the Balkans for me on that date. Meet kind of late around 8.30pm and get some dinner (Italian food usually works) and a bottle of wine. Make sure she drinks 70% of the bottle. Then go to a club with her. Best is if you can make a reservation in the club of your choice for two bar seats not at a table. Once you leave the restaurant it is around 11.30. Stay in the club for another two hours and then suggest to take a taxi to you for an after party.

If she agrees and comes with you there is actually almost no chance to mess things up. If they come to your place they know what is going to happen.

I've visitied all Central European and most EE countries and found aging to be generally quite bad there. Doesn't matter if it's Croatia, Ukraine, or Romania. So while for some time, I've thought finding a "good girl" abroad, marrying her and bringing her to Germany might be a good idea, but after switching to the red pill view of life, I think it might most likely end in a nasty divorce after some time.

Also keep in mind that most of these girls, especially from poorer countries, expect you to massively raise their quality of living (and possibly even send money to their parents, siblings etc. on a monthly basis), only to arrive here and discover that not all Germans (or Americans) own a nice suburban home with 2-car garage and a big Mercedes in front of it. But rather that even many mid-30 guys with good education struggle in the west to just pay the rent of a tiny studio, commute by public transport and buy the same stuff to eat in the supermarket that they'd buy in their homecountries, to maybe carve out 2 or 3 long-distance travels per year if finances allow to do so.

For example I'd say a long-distance relationship with a Thai or Filipina is impossible, even if you could go there 3 times a year, it'd probably in the end just be a FWB or fuckbuddy thing with you not knowing who she's fucking during the 46 weeks of the year that you're simply not there. Also it can be a pain in the ass, or even impossible, to get these girls into your Western homecountry for a visit as long as you're not married.

Just text her that you take her to dinner nothing more. Serbian girls are compared to Slavic girls very emotional and spontaneous. Don´t give her the opportunity to think about the movie option for too long. ^ Not sure. Like I said I have barely any experience with EE girls. All these girls it feels like you are talking to a robot and at some point a flag with confetti pops out saying "You Win & Get Laid" and it feels like I'll never know exactly when that is.

I hate cooking, have a tiny kitchen, have no patience to go find good ingredients and make a decent meal.

There is a huge difference I have noticed between talking to Romanians and Serbians. Romanians often even talking to a waiter/waitress for 5 minutes I want them to come sit at the table and talk to them for an hour sometimes.

Every interaction with a Serb has been draining for my personality. The flow of conversation and it's abrupt distant nature, lack of laughter & smiling in general takes its toll quickly. Maybe Serbia is considered Russia-Lite? If it is I think I would hate Russia.
