The Siege Of Skopje

Myself, Naughty Nomad and his friend have just completed a 6 day siege of Skopje (dressed as Mexican pirates naturually)

Rocket lauchers were launched, women defiled, Macedonian flags captured, pirate songs were written and performed with vigour, nightclub bouncers were fired upon (with water pistol swords), football games were attended, sword fights broke out in pretty every bar and club we went to (but in a good natured way), hat rapists were denied, new Somalian pirates were recruited to the crew.

Not sure which was the funniest sight, myself being literally chased down the street trying to escape the clutches of a 14 year old Macedonian lolita with erotic intentions or Naughty Nomad sprinting at great speed away from soggy and extremely pissed off nightclub bouncers.

Epic.

I assume you will go into greater detail on this trip/stay.

Oh, and night club bouncers are not known for their humor.

What's this, a report on Macedonia? Thank you for not teasing us like that other thread about Macedonia. Not sure what think about Macedonia because Naughty Nomad could probably make a night out in India fun. But it sounds like I place I should check out. Thanks for the post.

Lumiere -

Break it down.

We already know the "whole dress up like Mexican Pirates" thing is the master key to all Game.

Do naughty nomad and lumiere ever work? I need to find out the secret how one can make enough money to travel all year round. Shoot, I take only a couple trips per year and go almost broke.

Naughty Nomad is temporarily unavailable due to the fact that he's probably drilling his 18th flag. NN, go have a beer in the clubhouse and give the rest of us a chance.

Macedonia just popped up on my radar. I'm currently working around dozens of them. I've been studying the food, culture, history, ect. before approaching. They seem friendly, and if they offer some social proofing or insider scoop, then Skopje it will be.

Was just there. Girls are really friendly to English speakers. No language barrier at all. Main place to go is an area near the park where all the open air clubs are. Could have picked up multiple flags but Im not greedy. Average girl is about 6/7 with a few 8's that might require more work. Standard.

Thanks Richie. A British friend of mine said there's not a lot to do in Skopje, and I would get bored in a week. Any truth to that? I plan on a month or so there. Will $2K a month cover an apartment, food, and drinks?

There's a cute blond Macedonian girl that tried to strike up a conversation last week, and I totally gaffed her off and walked away. She's not used to that type of treatment. Now she stares at me all the time, looking pitiful. It's time to go in for the kill. [Image: evil.gif]

Its very cheap there. The average salary is a quarter of that. I was renting a huge apartment for 30Euros a night.
ANd yes... there is nothing to do there Im afraid. I didnt really do anything at all. Just saved my energy for the evenings.
I actually had a similar experience on my first night were a girl was overly friendly towards me. I more of less did a runner as I got tired of the attention... but the longer I spent there I realised that the people are just genuinely sweet and friendly. I still feel guilty about it now.
