So I've been back in the West for about 3 weeks after spending over a year in China...and while you may think they're different, they really aren't in a lot of ways. Last time I returned I posted about the sheer culture shock of my return.

This post is about the universal similarities shared between the East and the West, call it Global Red Pill Truths:

If you have demons and vices, and most of us have at least one, chances are it's readily available and easy to locate in any big city with a population of over a million, so there's also that.

I'm in a small town now and it amazes me how nice and how open the average person is. Cities make men angry, bitter and tired and the sheer volume of work that needs to be done grinds him down in a matter of months. At the end of the day - the traffic, the noise, the pollution, the high cost, the things it does to members of the opposite sex - a city is a good place to make money and a name for yourself, but it's not a place to go and be happy, no wonder almost all people who spend prolonged time in them want to get out to a place quieter and more simple.


3) Logistics are 80% of Game: When I first got to the city I was locked out of the action; I had a shitty place in the suburbs like 50 kuai by taxi (about 12 km) from the bars and the clubs and the restaurants. Granted I did get a FEW back, but not nearly as much as I am capable of and there were complexities to come with it (one only agreed to come if I paid her return taxi, another came from across town and stayed for 2 days which is 1.5 days too long). It wasn't until I moved downtown that things started to heat up.

Nevermind the cab and commute distance, or the fact that in the downtown there is a greater wealth of talent to choose from. At my old area there were no restaurants, bars, or coffee shops for the 'on the fence' girls that wanted to meet but wouldn't just come over. At my new district I was able to set up an elaborate 'web' of places to like a spider trap willing girls into meeting me at, and after food or a few drinks be like 'I want to go and watch a movie at my house, would you like to come?' (understand maybe just 1/4 of Chinese girls will just come to your house when you invite them (1/8 after flaking, so be aggressive), but if you can meet them nearby and chat with them and they can see you're handsome, charming and can speak some Chinese and a half an hour in you drop 'Want to come to my house', this jumps up to 5/6 (number unchanged - if she meets nearby and you speak a little of the language and have presence this is pulled off huge) - this is a hugely useful piece of the Chinese game puzzle). My logistics did me a ton of heavy lifting, which is why even though my place is too expensive, the reason I rented it, and have rented it for 18 months, is because it is logistically near-unbeatable. I pay an extra 750 kuai a month rent for those logistics, and they're totally worth it.

Here for the curious are my superior logistics:

- My place of work - 10 minutes on bike, 30 minute walk (2.2 km).

This is why the forum is so valuable, more so than self-conducted internet research; we have operatives in nearly every major city, people that know the score - dig around here and ask them where to stay...the last thing you want is to be locked into a lease in the sticks having to struggle to get yours.


4) 90% of guys have shit game: In China I met guys who constantly rallied me to introduce them to girls and give them WeChat cards of girls. And yes, I did give a few cards out - but they were to guys that I respected, and they were cards of girls that I hadn't fucked and knew that I wouldn't get to fuck, so no harm, no foul. These were the foreigners as well - and it's immensely easy to get laid in China as a foreigner as you adapt to the game.

Our minds game us. Because like in any expat community, we all know, or at least know of, each other, so we think there's a ton of young, handsome foreigners on the prowl in town and this is just not true.

Of the 10,000 or so foreigners in my city (not 100% sure, but it's a round number, so the math is about the same), how many are girls? Maybe 3,000. How many are over 50 (so they might as well be invisible to most young girls)? Maybe 1500. How many are gay? Maybe 500. How many are black (so unless they're fluent or fluid they struggle)? About 2000. That's just 3000 left. Of those, how many are the ideal age (25-35), not clueless idiots, don't overdrink/do too much drugs, know some of the language and know the game? How many aren't already married or attached? Maybe half.

That's right - in my city of 14 million people, there's maybe 1500 young, smooth foreign players creeping around doing the damage, and if there was less than 1000 it wouldn't surprise me. Not an insignificant number by any stretch, but the demand still far, far, FAR outstrips the supply. How else could I rack up 27 notches in 16 months while doing minimal work?

The locals were way worse. Sure, there is a carousel culture forming in China...but like any place where the carousel exists, only the top 15% of men profit from girls releasing the chains of China's past (and still present) relatively prudish and puritan attitudes toward sex...I have Chinese friends who fuck a different girl every week, pull club SNLs regularly, have 4-5 girls in rotation etc, but these guys are the exception and FAR from the rule...

But the average Chinese guy...between the rich or handsome locals with game and the foreigners who know the score - they aren't left with much (don't let that story from a few months back about the guy who had like 15 girlfriends visit him in the hospital fool you - that is VERY uncommon). They count on their parents and workplaces to matchmake for them - and then get let down when the girl presented doesn't live up to the hype. Lots of entitlement issues there, 'Oh, even though I make just 4000 kuai a month and am just 5'5 and not especially handsome...I'm so awesome and unique and kind that in a country with a shortage of women I deserve at least an 8!'.

Female Hypergamy knows no language and cultural barriers. The Chinese 8 is either married to a rich guy, getting fucked by a rich guy/young handsome player, dating the guy she will eventually marry, going through her 'carousel' phase or somehow monetizing her beauty (professional bar star, KTV girl, high-end escorting). She ain't aching to settle for a limited-upside, ok-looking guy with no cash in the bank now to start her family. 'Grind it out now so maybe it's better in the future' is not something Chinese girls want to do. Like here, they don't give a shit about potential.

In fact, since in China people still remain under the thumbs of their parents well into their twenties and beyond, it goes more like this:

'You're 28, you aren't married and we want grandkids. This 5 isn't the best looking girl for sure, but she comes from a good family and we like her. You will marry her, have a kid with her and you will LIKE IT!'

As people here know in the West, it's even worse. I caught an episode of The Bachelorette around the end of June (I was bored) and I just about threw up in my mouth. What did I see? 8 guys who lift, have their own scratch, have no bosses and look good (8 male 9's in other words) fighting it out over a 7 who probably has fucked at least 50 guys (apparently she did fuck the one 'bad boy' on the show, color me shocked as I nonchalantly file this under 'Things women know are bad ideas but they'll go ahead and just do anyways'). And, whenever one of them had a 'date' with her, they all gathered round to ask him how he 'feels' about it. What the fuck!?



I know when I go out with a girl and I return to hold court with a friend or friends, the first questions asked aren't about how I 'feel' about her, it's 'So did you fuck her?', and if yes, my friends attempt to pry details (which I give only to the closest and best friends I have). I also hear and see shit every day from guys that makes me palm the face. 5) Family is important...but it isn't everything: The East and the West need to find a balance on the value of family. We do things well that they do poorly, they do things well that we do poorly, we need to combine it.

In China, the family rules over all; you'll have 25 year olds STILL - despite having their own jobs, their own apartments, their own money - wholly on the leash of their parents. I've fucked girls that liked me, and then just ended it. Why? 'Because there's no way my family - which is traditional - will ever approve of a foreigner!'.

Who the hell cares? If someone makes you happy, then that's what matters!

I've met tons of Chinese people who tell me the way their family treats them, and have thought 'With a family like that, who needs enemies?'



But on the topic of 'doing what makes you happy'...we swing in the opposite direction in the West. Parents still love their kids and support them despite their myriad stupid decisions - whether it's becoming addicted to drugs, doing porn or whatever other stupid shit young people in the west do in the almighty name of 'finding themselves!'. Mistakes are valuable learning opportunities, but have you ever noticed that some people keep on making the exact same mistakes, with no consequences?

Kids here are raised with too much freedom and too many rights, they have no structure and are always told that they have the support of 'the family' in any choice that they make. What does this lead to? People in their late 20's with no basic life skills, people who run to the hills 'in offense' when someone dares to challenge their worldviews...dyed hair, trannies, sluts, men with no clue about women - but it's all okay because 'You're unique and special just the way you are and you shouldn't have to change - you being a fuckup isn't your problem - it's SOCIETY'S problem!' The same bullshit that these people got told as kids, which fucked them up in the first place, is just repeated in an endless feedback loop to them as adults.

In China, you have kids with no freedom and limited rights who nonetheless fail to transition into adults with any sense of agency. Kids grow up and rely solely on the judgments of their parents and per groups, so what does this mean? NO ONE IN CHINA IS CAPABLE OF THINKING FOR THEMSELVES. Not one word that comes out of their mouths or thought in their head originated there - a good way to create slaves, a bad way to encourage innovation.

Family is important for sure - but there needs to be a middle ground between the Eastern and the Western ways. In the East kids are encouraged to respect their family and to work hard, and in the West kids are allowed to find themselves and try different things to see if there's something that they might like. I think that THIS - and not the absolute freedom of the West or the absolute imprisonment of the East - is the best way to raise a child.


6) If you have a penis then you're always the asshole: When you get into a relationship with a girl, things start well, then at about 3-4 months they peak, and then it's a slow, steady downslope...downslope into what? At best boredom, and at worst, outright resentment - this is just the nature of men and women. People who downslope into boredom and can handle it get married. People who downslope into resentment eventually break up.

110% of the time, any breakup ever is never a woman's fault.

One thing that's funny about North American girls? The 'Well you had a small dick anyways!' retort after a breakup. When dating, your dick was fine, but as soon as you breakup, you have a tiny dick...

7) Shit costs way too much: At least China to a degree does this right. You know what costs more in China than it does in the West? Four things; Cars, electronics, real estate and designer clothes. This is good because these things, while important, aren't necessary, although the Chinese and how much they value 'keeping up with the Joneses' ensures that these expensive things are just not things that one can go without, no one is holding a gun to your head to make you update to the newest iPhone or a faster car.

What's cheaper in China? Groceries, alcohol, tobacco, hookers, rent, domestic travel, bar nights, education, furniture, hygiene products, property maintenance, medical treatment, dinner at a nice restaurant, gas, water and electricity, small home appliances ... ... ...

What's comparable? International travel, Wifi, imported food and a pint of good beer.

...But it's still stupid as fuck that some people see that the iPhone6 costs 7200 yuan and still HAVE to have it...

But it still beats the living shit out of what we pay in North America...

My dad's property management fees? $850/month (he does live in a community where everything is taken care of, but that's like a quarter of his pension!).

I walk to the store to get a pack of cigarettes (discount brand)? $9.75 (the same damn smokes that when I started smoking 17 years ago were $4 a pack - yes, cigarettes have more than doubled in price in 17 years and will probably be at triple in the next 5 years...any other thing and that's UNHEARD of).

Gas prices are down about 15 cents from where they peaked in 2013, but still at least 30 cents a liter more than it needs to be.

I want a case of beer that isn't piss water Molson or Labatt, $45.

The WiiU I want to better entertain the girls that come-to and go-from my place so often building security requires light greasing? WiiU + a few games + a few controllers, $600 after tax.

Of course, that iPhone6 that makes the Chinese girls cream up their panties, I can get it for FREE here as long as I lock into a 3-year contract that will see me giving Rogers or Telus or Bell about $2000 for the duration...the new BMW 3 that costs 300,000 yuan can be leased for $459 a month or purchased for $35,000...$50,000 a year is $25 an hour...



Forget about the grocery store. I cooked last week, got two steaks, some tomatoes, mushrooms, eggplant, oil and a few spices and the shit came out to $27. In China that's 133 yuan...in China the steak is 20, vegetables in aggregate are MAYBE 10 and the oil is 30. I'm all for imported, seasonal and hard-to-find foods costing more to offset the costs of getting them here (I'm not some faggot godless commie, after all), but fuck, all of the shit was from Ontario (except the Alberta beef). Why does it cost so much?

Taxes. The government taking their cut so they can pay politician's pensions and give my money to sluts who have three kids by three men and guys who 'just don't feel like working'. So if I were to get a job paying me $50,000 a year, $25 an hour, what's my take home after taxes? 26% on income tax, so about $37,000...

You know what would make me (and probably most taxpayers) happy? Getting a check back from the government every year - it doesn't even have to be a fifth of the taxes we pay - but at least SOMETHING to show me that the taxes we pay are going to something and it's being considered. Even if I'm getting robbed blind to the tune of about $13,000 a year in the Great Canadian Commie/Socialist Wealth Redistribution Plan, if every year the government said 'Here's a $2500 check - thank you for accelerating the decline of society!', I could at least take a trip to South America once a year.

As I mentioned my dad collects a (fairly solid) pension - he's had to PAY taxes on it the last three years - I believe last year he had to give about $1700. WHAT IN THE FUCK IS THAT ABOUT!?

Even though Canada is a net exporter of Oil (we produce quite a bit more than we use), we just have to tax the shit out of it. A liter of gas is about $1.15 now, which works out to around $4.30 a gallon...just across the border in Buffalo people are paying $2.65 a gallon. Gasoline is taxed about 50%. How is this in any way logical?

My best friend says he makes about 60 before tax, but his take-home is more like 42. I pay 4% income tax in China.


8) Women can rationalize anything away - and the ones who vehemently deny this ('I'm not like that!', 'I don't do that!') rationalize the most:
