Can somebody help me with some good studies on why kids need a father figure in their lives?

I've tried to find other threads but couldn't find one containing a study.
I'm not doubting the fact that kids need a father figure but somebody asked me for evidence.

Here's what you should do.

Use google. Read many different studies. Come back here and share what you found with us.

Yes, you could have Googled and come and shared, but it also appears you are looking for a good start off point and then you will make sure to come back and report what you find right?

You can start at the dalrock website who is a red-pillish type but is also a family guy and religious. I may have seen some of what you're looking for there if you search his stuff.
