Activists Will Use Drones to Fly Abortion Pills into Poland

Women’s rights groups will use drones to fly abortion pills from Germany to Poland this Saturday. The campaign hopes to raise awareness of Poland’s restrictive abortion laws, which differ dramatically from the majority of the European Union.

Poland has one of the most restricted reproductive rights in Europe. It’s among three countries, which include Ireland and Malta, where abortion is illegal. Women are only able to get abortions in the most extreme cases: if the women’s health is in danger, there is proof of rape or incest, or if the fetus is severely deformed.

The political stunt is a collaboration between Women on Waves and other European groups fighting for women’s reproductive rights. Inspired by the drones being tested to deliver packages by both Google and Amazon, Women on Waves announced the ‘abortion drone’ in a statement. They hope to highlight the “different reality” Polish women face when trying to access “safe abortion services compared to other women in Europe.”

It’s difficult to determine the number of abortions that occur in Poland. The World Health Organization (WHO) suggests the official abortion statistics underestimate the true extent of abortion, as many women are forced to use dangerous ‘underground’ methods. The WHO also notes the ‘robust’ abortion tourism, where Polish women have to travel to neighboring countries to access abortion services.

The drone will be transporting the WHO-approved abortion pills – mifepristone and misoprostol – from Frankfurt an der Oder in Germany to Słubice in Poland. These pills can be taken without medical supervision for pregnancies of less than nine weeks, Women on Waves says.

The drone won’t require authorization from Polish authorities as it weighs less than 11 pounds (5 kilograms) and will not be flying in controlled airspace, according to Women on Waves. The drone will also not be used for any commercial purposes and will stay within the sight of the person flying it.

I read this too but its not correct. Even when Germany is super low, Poland, Spain and Portugal for example even lower.

   

Anyway I'm not against abortion. It should not be used as protection tool but its better not to have a kid when you don't want or can't have one.
Its more important to rise the level of people that want to have kids.

And yes - abortion tourism to Germany is well known. The Polish birthrate corresponds greatly to the degree the girls want to party in their 20s (an ever greater number of girls) and it is also strongly effected by the economic real development of the country. Disposable income has been falling since 2006. Polish girls however in the West like in the UK are having babies in record numbers, so the fertility is shifting elsewhere.

Eventually, internet access will be available globally. It might take a while, but Google and others are making a huge push to get technology into remote areas. If technically savvy, "advanced", nations = low birth rates, then it is simply a matter of time before it is a ubiquitous worldwide problem. At that point the Amish take over the world. There is no such thing as a successful species that chooses not to breed.

One of the things that is not spoken much about female nature is how in the post WWII period is that German women blamed the German men for what the 'occupiers' did to them, more so East Germany than West.

Imagine a generation of hypergamous cunts being bitter towards the men of their 'tribe' for not protecting them, guilting their men to be more passive because of two world wars they started, seeing alpha in the men that took them and then pre-Hilary's telling them how to vote as 'strong & independent' women.

There's a population crash happening in every part of the globe, sans Sub Sahara Africa, regardless of feminist revolution or not. Once Sub Saharan Africa gets its maternal health metrics in order they'll follow suit with the low birthrates.

Read that too. Thats why I'm not against abortion. Most women don't do it as kind of sex protection. They do it because they know they are not able to rise a kid good enough to give it a decent future.
