Why Men Need Visions and Dreams - The Red Pill According to the Bible

It's like a biblical defense of the ROK "about" section.

I'm not christian, I'm agnostic but I think this is some amazing stuff.

Why Men Need Visions and Dreams - The Red Pill According to the Bible

Just finished watching it. I would say this is quite good, but still his speech has many flaws.

The Good:

Myles Munroe is basically The Book of Pook with scriptural justifications. He mainly draws from the OT so it's not like most Christian pastors babbling on and on about Jesus all the time. He lays out why men need to have a real purpose and meaning in life, and distinguishes between work and a job. He illustrates why a man is not going to be happy with a woman until he's got real work to do, because a woman is not naturally satisfied unless she is able to help her man.

He gives inspiration to men to find their real work in life and hope to get through their shitty jobs until they can get there.

The Bad:

He's fairly blue-pill. There is the sense women can do no wrong in his world. It would be charitable to call him purple-pill. Also, his examples of spiritual success involve guys like Michael Jordan, James LeBron, and Tiger Woods. He also talks about a man's vision involving lots of money in the future.

None of this shit is found in the Bible, in fact, money shouldn't even be a concern for a God-fearing man. To the extent a man has money is to the extent he needs it and God will provide him for it. Money is trivial and should not be the main purpose of a man's life for there are both greater things on this Earth and in Heaven. Hence the truth will set you free. The excessive focus on material success, and being able to give a purpose to a woman was quite off-putting.

Overall:

Great speaker, good use of scripture, good generalizations, but terrible application to real-world examples.

Hey Samseau, great feedback, I always appreciate your input.

I disagree, however that Munroe is blue-pill in his comments regarding women. I think his statements and jokes about male eccentricities are indicative of his age (Being an older fella, he wasn't perhaps privy to the SJW crap we're seeing so much of) and his belief in god. I'm not a religious man, but those who are tend to espouse the idea that we were created (women too) by god and therefore must be somehow bestowed with purpose and a certain "divine spark."

I have more on this but I'll save it for when I'm sober-er.

The crowd has a better ratio than most of the bars here in SoCal.
