When did you first learn that Gay Marriage was a Right? [Poll]

Marriage is not a privilege. Marriage is an encumbrance. It is a matriarchal institution that works in the favor of civilized society, but it is a complete encumbrance upon males.

If gays want it, they can have it.

I just wish marriage didn't work against men like it does today. If feminists were true to their word, and proponents of equality, they would be fighting for equality in marriage courts. Obviously they are not, so I will not wait around for them to prove to me (further) what I already know.

I feel like there is a really large homophobic vibe on this forum sometimes that I can't quite figure out. Who gives a fuck if men or women want to get married to each other? The culture has shifted. Time to get over it.

The problem is that gay men molest children at extremely high rates, and that homosexuality isn't genetic.

Once you understand these two facts you understand that homosexuality is a serious societal problem and creates a dangerous environment for boys.

This, really. The state sanctioned union of 2 men that aren't a part of my life doesn't affect me in any way.

The government and media pushing the values of gay men upon hetero society, however, is very damaging. It seems to me that this is their "acceptance" technique - instead of allowing the subcultures, that these life choices ultimately create, to exist and thrive in their own right, they simply force the beliefs of homosexuals upon hetero society, effectively taking the idea and "normalising" it by making it the only "correct" belief, and forcing the integration of completely incompatible beliefs and behaviours upon society in a way that is harmful to all involved.

This technique of societal manipulation has become rather popular in most every area that feminism touches.

We live in a time of great confusion and chaos - likely one of the most dangerous periods in history for men, and civilisation as a whole. It is certainly more important than ever to deeply understand your own fundamental beliefs and always stay true to them. There is no alternative

So to be clear, you can't figure out why the forum isn't embracing modern western culture? You've been here since 2010, and your position is that we need to "get over it".

Ok then.

No, it affects you in a huge way but you've swallowed the media propaganda hook line and sinker so hard you don't bother to look for the truth. Not trying to knock you, especially since naerly everyone today is pretty much brainwashed on fags.

Here in Russia we're slowly moving towards reclassifying homosexuality as a psychiatric disorder. As for drug addicts and other mentally ill people, I don't believe they should be involved in industries like hospitality, medicine, education or childcare.

What I find most striking about this whole Gay Marriage debacle is how quickly it's sweeping the world. Almost overnight, our society has chosen to enact something that would have been a bad punchline 20 years ago.

I'm interested in gauging when the push for this settled into the minds of the electorate; it's more than just a generational thing, with Millenials and Gen X getting brainwashed in public schools - even Boomers who once would have scoffed at it, have now become staunch defenders of it.

So: when do you first recall supporting Gay Marriage, or at least realizing that you were supposed to support it?

EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm deeply opposed to Gay Marriage, but that's not the question; rather, when did it become something in the mainstream consciousness? How did three different generations manage to get swayed simultaneously?

2004 right before the election, to get laid by liberal chicks you had to support it.

I must change the question a little bit to answer, Do I support gay marriage? NO.

Am I opposed to gay marriage? NO.

Do I care about gay people as long as they leave me alone, and let me do my thing? NO.

I look at it like I look at Heroin, Do I support heroin use? NO.
Am I opposed to heroin? NO.
Do I care about people doing heroin as long as they leave me alone? NO.

I am kind of ambivalent about gay men and women, my issue really lies with this whole transgender raise my son as a girl bullshit. I do not think that forcing non traditional gender roles on children that are not gay is right. There is a straight couple in my building and they are doing that "gender neutral" bullshit with their son and he is acting out at school and getting picked on by other kids. He is not my kid so I mind my business, but I cannot help but think what are they trying to prove? I ran into them in the lobby around Christmas last year and I asked him "are you being good, what do you want Santa to bring you for Christmas?" while my girlfriend chatted up his mom. He said "an Army truck and an Army tank!" his mom gave him a shitty look and pulled him away, my girlfriend told me later that his mom was pissed at him. That shit is going to fuck that kid up.

Gay Agenda now in Italy

ITALIAN FAMILIES PROTEST FORCED CROSS-DRESSING OF SCHOOLCHILDREN

Parents from the north of Italy have organized a massive demonstration, called “Defend Our Children,” against gender ideology in schools, which will be held this Saturday in the Saint John Lateran Square in Rome. The demonstrators will be protesting Italian educational programs that are meant to blur the sexual identity of children.

In the northern Italian city of Trieste, parents are in uproar over a taxpayer-funded elementary school program that includes dressing little boys as girls and girls as boys to overcome so-called “gender stereotypes.” Schools are calling the exercise “the game of respect,” which purportedly adopts many guidelines from the European standards on sex education, attributed to the World Health Organization.

The so-called “game of respect” consists in a box containing several cards, presenting the figures of different working roles: male and female housewives and husbands, male and female plumbers and firefighters, with the figures represented in exactly the same way to show that males and females are completely interchangeable.

Just to update the thread a bit, looks like most of us were right on the money when we said 2010 in the poll.

In contrast, it took 30 years of hard work and state-by-state campaigns to get gun rights recognized.

The second part of my post addressed the issue a little - the act of homosexuality itself isn't a damaging issue, it's the weird, nonsensical "homosexual culture" that's being promoted and shovelled down the throats of our youth in the form of "acceptance" that is damaging to our society.
