I think in general more recent shows and movies should have spoiler warnings in the title but I don't think something that went off the air almost 2 decades ago warrants a "spoiler warning".

Maybe spoiler alerts are just a sign of how much entertainment today sucks. You can read Shakespeare a thousand times knowing the ending and still enjoy it because it is literature. Great movies like the Godfather (where Vito Corleone dies in the garden); plays like Hamlet (Hamlet dies); books like the Illiad and Oddessy (most everyone dies; guy makes it home and a lot of other people die); visual art (Leonardo Da Vinci died); and music (Curt Cobain died).

Seriously? Who reads Shakespeare?
It's not entertaining to read a script. People may say that they read Shakespeare, but outside of high school (where it's a real waste of time), nobody reads it.
It's only entertaining on the stage...and that's if it's well acted.

There is no doubt that what Sylo is complaining about is the lack of a trigger warning, where the trigger warning in this case is a "spoiler alert".
This should be called a "media surprise" alert, because that's what it is. Oh, let's all let ourselves be surprised by the latest media product! Oh! I'm triggered by someone who spoiled the media surprise!!
