Women can be reluctant about something they want, it's human.

Don't let her language misguide you.

These guys should pick up on her signals and build the comfort she needs in order to do what she wants.

Chicks, just like dudes, have been programmed to deny themselves pleasure. Little boys go after what they want until someone teaches them not to. Girls are the same way. As adults we often rationalize why we should not do something.

Game is changing that internal conservation, proper game at least. If a player is not picking up on reluctance ( as opposed to resistance) and just yammering on, he doesn't have game.

Ronda needs a man to take the wheel. Both of these guys don't seem to realize their role in her decision to bang.

So this is why comfort building is also a huge part of game? Not just this, but verbal and physical spiking? So game is pretty much managing a woman's emotions?

I always get confused about this. I guess I kind of understand because I see a lot of talk about converting "maybes" to "yes" or "nos" to "yes". Is that what this is?

Edit -

I sort of know how game works, but not WHY and this gets me to be very introspective. I think Roissy touches on this a lot, so I might pay him a little visit.

The Mystery Method is basically about flipping the script. Mystery's Game is about making a girl chase you. It's about being a challenge, the prize, playing hard to get. Hence the
disqualification, negs, dhvs, push pull, freezouts, aloof body language, not leaning in, falsetime constraints.

Famous guy and gas station guy placed their cards on the table. The former texting her for weeks on end and the latter letting her know he was interested just after 5 minutes.

Don't debate me.

I feel like seduction/mystery method is like a deeper, more emotional thing. I've tried seducing (before knowing there was a game specific to that sort of thing) and it gets ugly fast. We're talking about girls getting way too attached and there's always drama.

I'm trying to keep things light and fun and so I run direct game, give or take. Pretty much "I find you attractive, let's bang." Not so bluntly, but pretty damn close to that. If the girl is down with you, it works out, if not, you move on. I definitely would have been the dude to ask her out straight up. Especially if I'm a normal dude - how often do I get the chance to hook up with a celebrity? If I met Kate Upton at a gas station I wouldn't try to work the long con on her. I would spit my game then and there and let the chips fall where they may.

These are girls that have seen it all, heard it all. Not saying some of that shit doesn't work on them - but I think a lot of them are not into bullshit. Especially once they become really well known, they're probably used to more guys than not fucking shitting themselves and acting like they've never spoke to a woman when they're in their presence. But you get a dude who treats her like a regular chick and goes for the number/date then and there, as he would with any other girl - that takes balls, in my opinion.

@Mister X. You make a good point about the gas station guy having balls to ask out Ronda. Hadn't thought of it like that.

Still, her being shy sounds like anti slut defence. She isnt some teeny bopper at the school playground. I am sure she has been around the block, c'mon she's a celebrity. Dana White's probably fucked her a couple of times. An attractive girl who spends her days grappling with alphas on steroids is now demure? And she curses a lot. Red flag.

Don't debate me.

1st guy: lifestyle game

2nd guy: direct daygame

Both could have banged her. Lifestyle guy has an edge since he has the number and the status.

Do women really 'pussy out' when they really like a guy? I suspect she is speaking Womanese. Would like to look up 'pussy out', 'he was cute', 'bro'd him' in the Chicktionary.

Famous guy: thin line between neediness and persistence.

Gas station guy: any Tom Dick and Harry can ask a girl out. That isnt game.

I'd ask her to autograph my chest or something funny. What would you do?

The fact that Rousey uses terms like "pussied out" and that she "Bros" guys, combined with the obvious fact that she's a fighter means she's a pretty masculine girl. This is not a feminine woman so perhaps that has to do with her reluctance to accept dates.

On the other hand, athletic women often have high testosterone and like to fuck....so maybe she's got a regular alpha she's riding.

What is "bro"-ing a guy, exactly? Is that just when a girl cals you "bro"?

If only you knew how bad things really are.

Means she went from being a girl to being the guy's pal.

My thoughts are that she is protecting her ego by acting like a guy/dude - instead of a woman, because it's easier for her to interact with men like that. She doesn't have to be vulnerable, she won't be judged, and she won't have to worry about awkward romantic interactions.

I think guys split on whether or not it's easier to bang "Tom Boys", or "Girls who only have guy friends". Some of those chicks are users, some are lesbians, and others are really shy - which is what Rousey seems to be.

And the other thing about this article is that it's self serving.
She might have a bunch of boy toys and girl toys, but the MMA wants her to have this image. Didn't they turn down Cyborg because she's too butch?

OK I met a girl kind of like this last year. Powerlifter, major tomboy. Told me "I have a ton guy friends." She acted all tough but was actually kind of shy. I asked her out, got her number, and then I fucked it up due to my lack of experience. I was on the right track when I told her I didn't want to be her friend. I don't doubt most guys here could have gotten the bang. If I could do it over I would go back and tell myself to expect a brief shit test and then escalate FAST. I was bummed at the time but it was a good learning experience. These athletic girls have a high sex drive. I think they do use some of their guy pals.

If only you knew how bad things really are.

I voted neither also. Gas station guy has more balls than first guy but unless the guy is doing something else pretty badass on his time off from work or is actually passionate about being a gas station guy, his game would be weak. I think game applies to more than girls. If you're badass in one area of life, you should also be badass in other areas of your life. From the example you gave, it seems both guys are only badass in one area, which to me, isn't good game.

He didn't work @ the gas station, that's just where they met.

And this concept, "If you're badass in one area of life, you should also be badass in other areas of your life"

Is just plain wrong.

There are tons of guys that are awesome in the boardroom, court room, on the court, in court, on the battle field - that suck when it comes to dealing with women.

There are even actors, comedians, salesmen, preachers, psychologists and psychiatrists that are horrible with women.

And there are plenty of guys that are great with the ladies, and have nothing else going on for them.

WIA

Hey WIA, I agree with you. The way I typed it wasn't as clear as I meant it. If you read my sentence RIGHT BEFORE the part you quoted, you'll see that I said GAME APPLIES TO MORE THAN JUST GIRLS. Meaning that one should be badass in more than one area to being considered as having "good game" in my opinion.

As for your clarification on the gas station guy, then yes, I also agree with you that he has more game.
