My theory is most men who have had ED problems in the past will be more prone to it on finasteride but for purely pschological reasons. You could give them a placebo and they'd still do the same in fact I believe it's in the study.

Measuring your libido is hard to do as it fluctuates. What was your T count and how old are you also period of time on the drug?

If your going to research it stick to scientific studies with a decent sample number and placebos in effect and stay away from forums who's solely been created for users who have had bad experiences. These forums are created by and attract neurotic men it's a skewed view of the reality.

General hair loss forums are fine.

Are you using Propecia? Are you on TRT? I'm very curious about using it, but my libido's low to begin with and I don't want to sink it any lower. The side-effect stories that some guys on the Internet portray are definitely scary and make me hesitant to try it out.

Some of the general hair loss forums can be pretty depressing places as well, where there are a bunch of regulars who blame every misfortune in their lives on their hair loss.

For my part, for the past 3 months I've been using Rogaine foam twice a day and ketoconazole shampoo every other day and have experienced some regrowth - nothing amazing but I'm "fortunate" that my loss is sort of diffuse. At this point I can just do a buzz cut and use a little concealer if I want and basically look like I have just a "normal" amount of recession for many men my age.

I've considered taking fin but I'm also hesitant. In general, however, my sex drive is pretty good, maybe higher than average for a man my age. My dermatologist tells me that my particular pattern of loss (type A variant, think Jason Statham type frontal recession) usually doesn't progress very rapidly once I reach where I'm at, so at some point I might be a good candidate for a HT.

I used to have long hair and went clean shaven, these days I keep a short beard and buzz cut as I mentioned. I definitely feel more masculine than I have before - it's not exactly the look I'd like in a perfect world but it's not horrible.

I have a naturally high sex drive and am somewhat addicted to either porn or going out to get in the bang in countries where that's feasible everynight e.g. SEA. So I have not noticed a decline or incline in sex drive. If I only fapp once a day it gets to the point where I explode at the weekend and just binge either through porn or banging a chick 4-5 times. This hasn't changed on fin.

I'm not on T but if I suffered from a low sex drive I would be and likely will go on the stuff later on in life regardless.

I use minoxidl and finasteride. I cover my entire upper scalp usually about 6-7 ml once a day at night time of minoxidil. And I split a 5mg pill of finasteride in 3 parts and take a part every second day.

Yeah the regulars on hair loss forums tend to be completely retarded. Literally have no hair left on top and think their lives would be amazing if they had hair despite being fat as fuck or having no muscle mass on them.

There's a point of no return and that's when it's time to rewatch crank and the transporter and take out the razor.
