Anyone rocking this look?

Anyone rocking the hightop boots/shoes with the tighter pants sorta of tucked in? I have only seen latinos sporting this look, and it is a new thing as I have just recently noticed it. I think im gonna get me some threads to wear to the latin clubs. My white ppl would be wondering WTH lol.

It is starting to get pimped to the main stream public as I saw some shots of models with the look in an Express catalog that come to the crib.

the look was at the very edge of metro bordering on friend of judy when it was in, which was for a few weeks last year but the looks over, rocking it now is outdated, it's like the faux hawk, people do it but it's heyday has come and gone. The only way a guy should be rocking anything of the sort right now is with a good pair of jeans, half to 3/4 tucked into a good pair of combat styled boots, nothing pointy or overly styled and no skinny jeans...that's if you really want to rock a tuck look of some sort but it's played.

I wouldnt fully tuck. 1/2 to 3/4. obviously wit a nice pair of jeans. although they cant be baggy jeans. slim (not skinny) jeans the ones that look the best with them.

I dont really agree that the look is played when only a TINY percentage of ppl in the US rock or have rocked that look. Like I said it is JUST NOW getting to main stream as I pointed out with the Express ad.

I wasn't as clear as I should've been above, the jeans partial tuck isn't played, with the jeans you can make it work for ya....as for played I was speaking more directly about the full tuck with a tighter non jeans material pant, it was a trend I used to see a lot and as quick as it came it left. The jeans with boots has been around forever and will always work, you just gotta make sure you get the right boots to pull it off. I work in the film industry and 2 of my close female friends are in costume design and styling for sets, between them and all the gay dudes on sets, you get upto date on trends quickly and the full tuck which is what i thought you were talking about is out, just cause some chain stores catching a fad late doesn't mean it's in, just means by the time they caught upto the trend it passed them by but you were talking jeans and that's a different case altogether. I do rock the jeans partial tuck with boots look on occasion and done right it's tight.

lol no man should go anywhere near a skinny jean, hell it takes a special girl to pull them off right, there is no right for a guy.

My style leans classic as well but sometimes a new look can be a good one. It's all about having a good eye and knowing your personal style.

Define skinny jeans. I wear fairly tight straight legged jeans but they aren't hugging my legs all the way down or anything.

U cats gotta learn to adapt and conquer. I have completely diff threads for all kinds of venues and ppl. Skinny jeans are good for picking up that fine ass emo / alternative chick.

I advise everyone to be able to rock a variety of looks. And look good doing it.
