Taylor Swift says that 'Misogyny is ingrained in people from the time they are born'

Taylor Swift has spoken about the pervasive nature of misogyny and the importance of embracing feminism in an interview with Maxim.

The pop star spoke about the importance of feminism, calling it the ‘most important movement’ people can embrace, in an interview with Maxim.

Swift told the magazine (which declared her number one in its “Hot 100” poll) that negative attitudes towards women are “ingrained” from birth, adding that the double standards between men and women became apparent to her as she grew up.

“Misogyny is ingrained in people from the time they are born,” she said. “So to me, feminism is probably the most important movement that you could embrace, because it’s just basically another word for equality.”

“A man writing about his feelings from a vulnerable place is brave; a woman writing about her feelings from a vulnerable place is oversharing or whining.”

The singer also talked about how it was only when she reached adulthood that people’s attitudes toward her changed and the messages of feminism began to make sense.

“I didn’t have an accurate definition of feminism when I was younger,” she said. “I didn’t quite see all the ways that feminism is vital to growing up in the world we live in. I think that when I used to say, ‘Oh, feminism’s not really on my radar,’ it was because when I was just seen as a kid, I wasn’t as threatening.

"Taylor swift has given into the radical army of fembots by embracing the ideology with a series of dumb comments" hilarious. Steve McMahon, are you writing for this guy?

followed by "which has led to biblically retarded comments such as this" this is gold.

I fucking love Prison Planet Paul.

By the way Taylor Swift has been best friends with child molester and grim slam-troll Lena Dunham for the last few years.

This is not surprising.

Here are the producer credits from her newest album 1989.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1989_(Taylor_Swift_album)

Jack Antonoff
Nathan Chapman
Shellback (Johan Schuster)
Max Martin
Ryan Tedder

They are the writers and producers of 12/13 of the songs on her album. So 92% of her songs are constructed by men, and certainly all of the hits. Only 1 has a female writer

Apparently she doesn't trust women to put out a quality product. For musical genius she turns to men. Her millions of album sales are directly related to having men construct the songs. Taylor only wrote 1 song solo

Her private jet is flown by a man. Her million dollar mansions were built by men. Her bodyguard is a man. Everything in her life is enabled by.....nevermind I fucking give up these bitches are hopeless.

I wonder if some of the more virulent radfems will point out the irony of her decrying "misogyny" in the same breath as appearing No. 1 on a list of women being lauded for nothing more than how good they look?

Oh come on, she didn't get brainwashed by feminists, she (or her managers) saw that she could rake in $$$ by pandering to the feminist morons so she is doing so now. - Playing to people's fantasies.

Taylor Swift, like many other celebrities and their managers are very business-savvy, don't be fooled. She is in it for the money. Well, I hope so as this is beyond retarded.

If Maxim's "Hot 100" is supposed to be the hottest 100 girls, Taylor Swift belongs nowhere near that list. She has a huge "grandmother" vibe to her. Not sexy at all. If she gives head (which I doubt she does) I'd imagine she's so bad at it my dick would go limp.

So ya she's as sexy/hot as a grandma or a robot (like R2D2.)

- A good chunk of her fans are male
- Her father is a man last time I checked
- A lot of her backing group are male

And last but not least her song "shake it off" has a lot of male performers in it.

She like others of her kind live in an echo chamber where "shut the fuck up" doesn't come up too often.

If misogyny is really ingrained into men from the time they're born, and all male infants and toddlers spend roughly 85% of their time with their mothers, then who was most likely to inject misogyny into these young boys?

I'm curious to see how this plays out in the long run.

As mentioned in the above video, she had previously stayed away from this kind of divisive debate. She came up through the country music world, with the all-American sweetheart image.

Now she's decided to jump into the fray and be like her pal Lena Dunham. As disgusting a creature as she is, Dunham is at least a fighter. She'll get on Twitter and rant and throw idiotic snark back at her haters. She lives for that kind of drama.

Taylor Swift made a career of writing songs about how much her feelings have been hurt. Whether it's through bad relationships or because she was "different" in high school. She's admitted that she regularly creeps on what her fans have to say on social media.

You can bet she's going to see the above video. I suspect that hearing some pale-faced Englishman call out her family's wealth and drop some facts is going to sting her hard. People are going to start attacking her. Her fan base is so big, pissing off a segment of that group offers just too tempting a target.

I wonder if her skin is thick enough to handle it and keep her in the game for the long haul.

When she says this, if she's equating the "men's rights movement" and the red pill's viewpoint of feminism being a bad thing that has corrupted western civilization as "misogyny" then in a sense she's right.

Most, if not all people, are naturally born with an innate understanding of how the sexes are and should interact with each other. Men are leaders and rational, etc while women are emotional and nurturers, etc. It's patently obvious, even to children that men are stronger, the natural breadwinners, women (mommy) are the weaker sex to be protected.

Heck, I knew this as a child growing up in a two parent home. I knew my mother was 'softer' as I could get away from more and I was certainly more scared of my stronger father. This is just intuitively understood by most people , most likely "from the time they are born" as the clueless singer says, or at least it's known from an early age. Then, later in life, the tenets of feminism are introduced and corrupt and indoctrinate their minds and beliefs.

The only thing I would change about her quote to make it truly accurate would be the word "all" thusly inserted: " Misogyny is ingrained in 'all' people from the time they are born "

and I'd also add an addendum "until feminism and cultural marxism comes along and indoctrinates them at a later age and corrupts many of the peoples' innate understanding of the natural order of things between the sexes."

So, although she meant it as an insult and also to show her support of feminism and her opposition to "misogynists" she inadvertently backed into the truth.

Half of Taylor Swift's songs are very useful if you look at them from a game/red pill perspective.

Think about it.

70 Years ago she would've been a bitch that would've cook you a good meal after a hard day's work and then give you a message while you were listening to the radio. And now they're spewing this! Damn sometime it hurts to realize how far we've fallen!!

No, they're the same, really. It's just that a man talking about his feelings is somewhat rare, while a woman talking about her feelings is...EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY WOMANS LIFE!!!

I work mostly with women...my boss, my peers. When we have team meetings, we have a great half-hour meeting...in three hours!! Most of the meeting is pointless meandering, complaining, whining...I stay late most nights because most of my day is POINTLESS, CIRCULAR MEETINGS where ****nothing*** is accomplished, or expected to be accomplished. So I start my real work around 6pm because MOST OF MY DAY is wasted by female over-sharing.

Taylor Swift's opinion on misogyny is about as relevant as my opinion on country music. Maybe her soul is still scarred from being given a boy's name....

The difference is that usually men will reflect on a situation and come out the other end with a deeper understanding of it and share wisdom.

Women just play victim - the Wounded Bird syndrome - and blame the other party for any failings in the relationship, very rarely themselves, and, as such, make for predictable, repetitive songwriters who have no insight to offer.

As expected, the new single:

Quote:Quote:

'Cause baby now we got bad blood
You know it used to be mad love
So take a look at what you've done
'Cause baby now we got bad blood

Her songs will never amount to anything other than: "Everything is YOUR fault." As such, she's whining and oversharing because she gains no insight into herself.
