That's a very true observation.

So many girls were doing crossfit, I've noticed there are only a handful left nowadays. Crossfit is reaching it's if it hasn't already.

Tinder peaked around a year ago and now has truly crashed.

Out here in so-cal I'd say it's passed peaked, tons of more girls were posting pics of yoga stances, then again it comes and goes in waves.

Doubling up on the sentiment that online will be trash and always was trash. You are not going to find a woman worth more than a pump and dump online. It's the trash is society and filled with weirdos with no social skills. Couple that with the Tinder craze being over and you have a recipe for disaster. I got 15-30 matches per two-three days back last year with a selfie and one group photo(shittier bio too) now with better pictures I got 2-5 in the last month. This is the exact same in the South (USA) and out West. Especially bolded. "Beards and tatts," make up at least 1/3 of the profiles. "5'10+" make up 1/10. For guys shorter, you won't have a problem, but still. The app has gotten to the point of absurdity.

I was in college when the app was first released and was getting advertised on college campuses - the girls are all trending into the exact same person.

This is common in West Texas. We call this wife'ing material. I refuse to to keep a rolling pin in the house, because when you wake up and see this in the kitchen, the "L" word will come out involuntarily. There was a conversation in the chat room a few months back about profile photos where I was working on a theory that women grow up with male model imagery in their teens, and unconsciously-imprint on certain types of male presentation and learn to read them as 'high value'. I killed the original thread with my flood of Homotastic pics, but Zelcorp's observation was spot on with my profile picture theory.

I was just reading a story on News.com this morning about how a NYC Police Officer's photo went viral, and now he's fighting off propositions from thousands of horny women.

Why did it go viral? Why are the woman so obsessed?

From my observations:

Elevated Viewer Eyeline? Check.
Reclining Pose? Check.
'Eyefucking' Direct Eye Contact with Camera? Check.
Deep thought / Defiant stare? Check.

He reads to women as a male model.



Now ask yourself, jacked or not, would this picture of him gone viral in the same way? See how the type of photos you take can raise your value, and how EvoPsych theories of elevated chins seem overridden by - and I hate myself for saying this - socially-constructed ideas of how women read male value?



It's worth considering this for Tinder, etc.
