I am still working on my wardrobe and my physique. Losing my pot belly as well. Anyhow, I have been hitting the clubs for months now with my buddies. Hell I didnt know girls found these guys irresistible. Chicks running up on them saying they are cute and what not. I'm standing there entertaing the fat friend. Dudes are getting one night stands left and right, while I go home to a one hand stand.

At worst I play the invisible man and at best I am the designated dragon slayer. Question is how do work your way around a wingman who inadvertedly cockblocks you?

Go out alone. Your looks differential must not be too high. While Apex fallacy comparisons are often overdone in a way it is comparable to for example a model-looks Player going out with Leo DiCaprio. They will ignore him and just swarm Leo.

Go out alone until you generate a similar reaction. Going out solo is often better anyway during club Game for a variety of reasons.

I have good looking friends I go out with and they crush me in ROI. It really opens your eyes to the fact that it IS all about looks. However, the situation you describe is extreme and I can't relate to it: them being legit magnets to the girls and you losing yours to them. Anyway, here are some solutions.

- Have an understanding/agreement re: dibs beforehand. Make him know what impact he's having.

- Out-approach him. Is he really able to spam cold approach? Very few good looking guys can. Strong approach skills translate to more opportunities. While you will never match the ease by which he gets the quality he does, strong approach skills net you quantity.

- Approach away from him. You don't move around in the club every now and then and do your own thing? This is normal for me. So your friend's better looking than you... what difference does that make to the girl you're engaged with? It's not like you have a duty to introduce her to your friend. And even if you do, she's invested in you. Are you saying all these girls ditch you at this point for your friend? This is the part I have trouble understanding. In the end a good looking friend is just one guy who can occupy just one good looking girl.

- Increase your looks. Lose bodyfat, get a nice haircut, wear shoelifts, buy a funkybod, change up your wardrobe, get a tan, etc.

- Don't go out alone. Go out alone only as a last resort. Going out truly fucking sucks. Don't underestimate the value of good friends to have fun with and give you support. That's my experience, anyway.

- Understand that going out with guys "uglier" than you will not magically change your objective looks value and the quality of girls that will like you. Whether you came with Gollum or with Aragorn, the girls in a given venue on a given night in a given location who are on your level are on your level regardless. So your good looking friend is not there and there's one less distraction in the background - doesn't change the dozen or so other very good looking guys that are still there and available. In the end it is what it is, just do your own thing and approach with drive, and make it not matter.

I had this problem and I had no choice but to stop hanging out with that wingman. I'm not a bad looking guy but this guy was 6-2 blue eyed handsome dude. And he was a breakdancer. The only thing was he was really bad at game and that's where I was able to swoop the leftovers but it wasn't many.
My suggestion is to wingman with a guy that is equal or slightly less in the looks area as you. Or once you get in shape pick up after that good looking wingman, he serves as some type of peacock when you walk into a club. Then you game from there.

Otherwise you are going to have a rough time.
One of my best wingmen looked similar to me, same height, same ethnicity but awesome with game. If he opened a 2 set usually girls didn't get too choosy and it was both of us getting laid as we had the same style.

Good wingmen are really hard to find.

The first thing I ever tell any wingman (red pill or not) is that whoever approaches the set gets first choice. You need to make this clear from the get-go, pretty much every guy will be cool with it since it's perfectly fair and incentivizes both people to approach.

I had the same problem. My best friend growing up was a very good looking guy. Girls basically threw themselves at him. I was the cool and funny guy. I got laid too but it was effortless for him. His game was so weak though. He couldn't string 5 words together to tell a joke.

So what do you do? You pull away from the pack and do your own thing. Definitely roll dolo. Go travel. Break your routine. And don't bring girls you like around your friends.

I had a friend like that in my early 20s. Could be a room full of 9's and the 7 I was talking to was the one he wanted. He was always wanting me to call over my women friends and stuff like that. Honestly, I'd say keep hitting the gym, and keep rolling with your more able friends.

It might take ages to get to their level, but if that's the growth you need then take it. Also, there's plenty of other guys out there who are good looking with game, so pulling away from the friends you know isn't going to be a cure-all.

It sounds like you're the entertaining fat friend because you're entertaining and you're fat. Solve the fat problem and it won't be an issue.

Honestly, most good looking guys never have to perfect their game, so be glad you have the chance to get better at game while getting more in shape.

Annoying thing is I have a couple friends that have girlfriends and are "officially" not going to cheat on their girlfriends, yet they still want to compete for girls attention the odd time that we do go out together. No wingman should block you. No matter how good looking he is, no matter how many girls throw themselves at him, him pulling shouldnt prevent you from pulling if he didnt wanted to. There are enough women to go around. He either has no actual game and thus women keep throwing puss at him until one hits it (keeping them entertained and away from you), or he is deliberately hogging them.

Just go by yourself or find another dude to wing you that is more akin to your own level. Or go out with him when you have the intention to have a good time with friends whether you pick someone up or not.

Plus, theres nothing bad in being the dragonslayer. At least that means you are slaying.

I am seriously considering rolling solo because my buddy is good looking (no homo) and he is not a very good wingman. While I am willing to help him in his sets and did it properly more than once. He would not settle with the ugly chick and I end up cock blocked or ejecting.

The bottom line is that whoever the chick wants to fuck that night, she's going to fuck. Period. That has nothing to do with cockblocking. If on the other hand, the OP was running tight game on a chick and his boy deliberately tries to fuck that up, then I would agree, Fortis. But that does not seem to be the case here.

The whole "dibs" thing is bullshit, too. My philosophy is just to let things play out naturally... run the best game you can, on whichever chick, and adjust accordingly depending on who's reacting to whom. There's been many blown opportunities (in my life, and I'm sure everywhere else) because one guy was trying to get at a girl who wasn't interested when another girl was.

Forget about your ego, it won't help you in game or in life.

That being said, riding solo is a skill you should develop.

There is a rule, don't have a wing who is more handsome than you. Or just naturally brings about more attention. Unless he is going to downplay himself for you he won't be able to stop getting attention until you step up your own game.
