Old crush, new times

Hey, I needed advice on whether I should pursue this girl who i have had a crush on and off since my first year in college and if the answer is yes how should I go about it. Disclaimer: This is no "oneitis" situation, i have no feelings for this chick just want to bang for an ego rush"

History: Liked the girl in my first year, was hopelessly beta at that time, put her on a pedestal and treated her like Princess jasmine, obviously she didnt like me back or anything. Multiple situations like these occurred throughout my days at the Uni.
I graduated last year in May and since then i have had no contact with her whatsoever. Now today she randomly puts up a need help with "XYZ" Software as an fb status, and Ive sent an inbox asking about the problem(havent offered any help). How should I go about this next?

No offense, but what strides have you taken game-wise since the pedestalizing days of your one-sided affection?

You have left out some information

In other words, why would this version of you be more attractive to her than your self-described "beta" days?

After all, you are going through the backdoor so to speak, increasing your risk of being seen as the crush-boy from college who happens to be good with computers.

Versus going direct

You really can't see any correlation between your previous behaviour (which you acknowledge got you nowhere) and your most recent actions??

White knighting is lame, white knighting as a software geek is even lamer.

She won't be able to tell you're any different than before *via a text/email/message*

Gotta swoon her in person bro

If it's not "oneitis", walk outside and find another chic to pursue.

I've checked your first post here and several seasoned members gave you the best advice you can get started with, that's why I'm confused on why you are still hooked to that girl who from what you say doesn't even acknowledge your existence yet again here you are sending her an inbox message on her software troubleshooting dilemma.

Saying you don't have a oneitis for a girl you had a crush on and according to what you said you treated her like a snowflake doesn't add up,yet again here you are wanting advice on how to get her after several years.

Forget about her, go out and start approaching, and get the lifestyle that you want. If going out approaching, getting a bang eventually and getting your life back in shape doesn't give you a confidence boost, nothing really will.

Alright I catch the drift. I didn't really want to white knight, just wanted this to be an opportunity to meet her and run game

You still care too much. I've been there too.

Even if you get her out in person, which is unlikely, this will show through in bad game and body language. No offense, but I don't think you've built enough reference experiences with other girls to approach her with the cold aloof abundance that you would need to turn this in your favor. If you had, you wouldn't be sweating her still. Just do you and focus on new horizons. No point going backwards.

Here's the truth - if you have to ask "how do I approach this particular girl". You're 90% likely going to fail. That's just how it is.
