If you get assigned to a lesbian manager, just commit hari-kari now

In my industry (IT) there seem to be more and more female managers. They accept low salaries, are loyal rule followers, and usually have decent social skills if they are a manger. They also can rarely do the actual work. What we are seeing is more corporate HR managerial types and less earning their stripes in lower jobs.

Take note of how many women are in the department as a whole, this is bellweather to the overall corporate culture. If you are dealing with one lesbo in an otherwise male dominated office, you should be fine. If you are in meetings with 50% women, you are in trouble.

With a Lesbian boss, in a female corporate culture.... Don't expect to get promoted. To many vaginas she can maneuver ahead of you. Do your job well, get some experience and make a lateral move now or in 1 - 2 years.

Totally seeing the same. I don't work in IT but in another, formerly mostly-male corporate HQ function (think finance, law, etc). There seems to be a new rule in the #metoo era, which is "D&I" (diversity and inclusion) takes precedence over ability. So, i'm seeing a HUGELY disproportionate share of promotions going to women, latinos, and other "POCs". Which means if you are a 40 yr-old male in a Fortune 500 company, you are likely to end up with a 30 yr old female or POC boss shortly. The POC men tend to be fine, if they're competent, and most men who get promoted seem to have adequate competency. The women tend to be the stuff of NIGHTMARES. I knew one woman in 30 years who i'd happily work for again. She wasn't even my boss, she was my bosses boss. Boss was an insecure guy who liked to fire his talented underlings to kill off the competition. She protected us, even the white males.

That's one in 30 years. Lena's comet comes by nearly as frequently.

You do the math...if you work in a large company with a skewed M-F ratio, you are likely to be MISERABLE.

I'd become a dentist if i had it to over again, or some other form of MD. No cunt diversity-hire bosses to deal with. But if you're already too far into your field to change now, one option to not have it as bad is to AVOID fortune 500's and work for smaller companies, say, below $1B in revenues. They can still be sizable companies - just not so big that they have enough money to waste on non-performing managers.

p.s. The comment "If you are in meetings with 50% women, you are in trouble" shows someone who has been around the block a few times. That is a KEY bellweather. One time i took a job where i was the ONLY male in the group, and the women in the group were all older and had worked together for years and years. And they were all over-promoted - none of them were very smart or sophisticated, despite being in VERY well-paying jobs. It's like working at Walmart's headquarters: You may work for the largest retailer in history...but you're still in Bentonville, AK working with a bunch of hicks who have never lived outside of arkansas and whose life experience is very, very narrow. Anyway, these broads i worked with drove me INSANE - every meeting started with 45 minutes of chit-chat! Then another 90 minutes of dancing around the issues, but NEVER resolving anything. So EVERY meeting was like Dave Barry's description of women discussing relationships: "They will continue to discuss this subject for weeks, never reaching any definite conclusions but never getting bored with the conversation, either."

God, it was hell. And these were STRAIGHT women!

Never choose to work for a woman if you can avoid it, fellas. And NEVER, EVER subject yourself to working for a lesbian who, deep-down, sees you as the enemy and wants you castrated. Because she wants to sleep with all the cute girls who mostly desire men. THAT's why you're the enemy. You did know that, right??

I have not had a female boss since, not likely to have one ever again due to my niche and top reputation.

Huh? The CFO of GM is a woman, as is the CEO. Several very senior executives at Microsoft and Intel are women (i.e, direct reports to C-level executives). There are lots and lots of women at the top of the corporate ladder now (earned or otherwise). Not sure how your "top reputation" will keep you from having to work for them.

"Hey, Chairman of the Board...yeah, this is the CEO of GM...As you know, i'm a woman...and the CFO is a woman...collectively, we earned about $20MM last year...but hey, we got a chance to land STRIKEBACK on our team! So, the CFO and I will be resigning tomorrow".

Can you further elaborate how your "top reputation" will keep you from having to work for women?

I am tired of the over-exaggerated negativity from some of our frequent posters here especially when they are framed as advice to young men. This is at its core a self-improvement place, we seek solutions to challenges we find ourselves in, not wallowing in the MGTOW quit-it-all attitude. There's too much defeatist attitude both here and the Game forum right now. Everything is too hard, everything is doom and gloom if you're a young guy. Where is the neo-masculine spirit? Sometimes I feel there's more bitching about life going on here than on Jezebel or Salon.

Young guys, you can indeed make lemonade out of lemons if you improve yourself, your social skills and your Game. Don't wallow in negativity, don't copy the sense of despair from these older blokes. They failed, but there are other who succeeded, and you too can achieve that. Stay positive, keep improving and you will get much more out of life than you ever imagine.

Who you callin' failed, son? You'll be very pleased indeed if you reach my career heights or bank account! That is, if you ever do. As for the "seeking our own solutions" - please, by all means, go ahead! And report back to us in 20 years about your success gaming lesbians. [Image: lol.gif]

Every smart young men understands: The trick isn't winning every fight. No one can do that. Even Ali lost fights. The real path to victory is choosing which fights to engage in, and which fights are have such low probability of a favorable outcome that they are best avoided. You ever notice how professional poker players play very, very few hands? When they are dealt a shit hand, they fold, and wait for a more favorable proposition. When the odds are in their favor, THAT'S when they double down. Only fools double down holding a pair of two's. Risk taking is about making CALCULATED risks. I've taken roles in countries that people told me i was CRAZY to take. But my net worth today is literally millions higher than if I didn't. What did those risky roles have in common? There was some underlying factor - reasonable boss, good financial backing, something that tilted the risks in my favor. Well, when you work for a woman boss, and this is doubly true of lesbian women, the odds are tilted DECIDEDLY against you. Play negative odds long enough, you're guaranteed to lose. That's why Vegas has rewards cards - you knew that, right? You are GUARANTEED to lose if you play often enough when the odds are stacked against you.

Pure guess: You're a millennial and bought bitcoin at $17,000. You're holding it at $3,500 for the same reason you held it at $10,000 -- "it's gonna come back BIGGER THAN EVER!! I BELIEVE!!"
