Being buried alive.

That's an excellent fear, one of the best. Kudos.

You should definitely check out the superb 1962 film called "Premature Burial" starring the great Ray Milland. I think you'll like it quite a bit.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Whenever I see it in the movies and try to imagine what it's like, I can think of no greater fear. Terrifying.

Doing what I think is the right thing (like an opportunity), when it's actually the wrong thing in a given situation.

I fear nothing for little dark is by my side.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

"The greatest fear in the world is of the opinions of others. And the moment you are unafraid of the crowd you are no longer a sheep, you become a lion. A great roar arises in your heart, the roar of freedom.” -Osho (fitting avatar I know)

Kind of lame but my greatest fear really is the opinions of others. Currently working on fixing that, it's part of 'inner game' I guess.

Other than that I also have an irrational fear of needles. I guess my greatest fear could be being thrown in a giant pit of used needles... pretty sure I saw that in a movie once.

Currently?

That I'm wasting my time going to college when I could spend the next 3 years doing something else and make just as much/more money as an undergraduate.

The shark thing is a real one for me but it's still unlikely even when scuba diving all the time.

However, there are moments there when it's a bit overcast and the water has low visibility and i'm out there slightly separated from the dive buddy...

There are known hammerheads (scalloped hammers) in the places I dive which are a bit more aggressive but still not likely to attack people. I'm more afraid of having a saltwater crocodile stop by. It's all very unlikely though.

Saltwater crocs are way scarier and more aggressive than any shark.

Do they attack / feed in deep open water?

I watched a documentary about the French Foreign Legion doing their jungle training, and the instructor was telling them that crocs only attack prey in shallow water.
