Avoidance weasel

Sometimes when I see a hot girl on the street and I feel that physical attraction towards her my brain starts telling me that I don't really need her. Something like: "Yeah she's nice to look at and all but it's not really worth the effort."
I seem to have the ability to completely shut off any desire in that moment.
An hour later I'm back home on some stupid online dating site. It's ridiculous. Does anybody who can relate have some tips or mind tricks to beat that damn brain into submission?

True, but I think that when you've been regretting not approaching women for such a long time, you get used to it.
It becomes comfortable....like old leather.
Eventually it gets to the stage when you can't remember feeling any other way. If something does happen then you consider it nothing less than a miraculous instance of divine intervention.

1. Increase horniness (down-regulate fapping, avoid porn, do exercise, or whatever else increases it for you)
2. Visualize the sex (imagine the specific girl, imagine successfully getting her into bed, imagine how good it would feel)
3. Decrease approach anxiety (repetitions - 1 a week leads to 10 a week as it becomes more familiar and less uncomfortable, treat approaches as 'net dragging' versus individual 'successes and failures')

That's it. Do it.

Thanks brother those are good points. The fapping part will be hard with all the fitness I do but I think it's the most crucial.
