Just an extra data point regarding the age comments, I definitely noticed a clear drop off in uk starting from when I was 37, I'm 44 now. I remember at 37 getting my first age related no-go when gaming in clubs eg some younger girls would simply be unwilling to engage at all based on age. Still had a bunch of success then though.

Again for the vast majority of girls even if you are handsome etc... in a Western country if they could perceive you being old enough to likely have been their dad or one of their friends' dads that is the drawing line.

True, but I have spoken to many 18 to 22 year olds that have expressed attraction to their dad's friends and their own teacher, professors etc and have stated that they would reciprocate if the guy showed interest. Yes, it's harder than being abroad. But, it's not as hard as it's made out to be.

Besides, if you are 45, but look younger and the girl is attracted to you, often, the age doesn't even come up till much later. The girl convinces herself that you are within her acceptable age range.

Again why do I focus on the 18 to 23s here? Because I have tried the over 25s and I prefer that age set, in Brazil,Poland or Romania, more than here.
If you took all the young tail out of the equation in Colombia, there would not be a another good reason to stay here.

I have found this true particularly in the US. I am older and I have found that the under 30 are preferred by me besides the obvious looks. The attitude is better. The over 30 US women are almost impossible to deal with.

Nasty attitude, full of crazy ideas, combative, all kinds of real emotional baggage. And already ruined and unhappy.

The under 30 may be immature but I can at least deal with them. I can talk with them and they don't act like they know everything. Even when they don't know anything.

Young girls everywhere are a pain in the ass now, but once you have conquered them, they are a real treat.
In Colombia, young girls mature faster and are not coddled, like in the West. They are more fun, romantic, and open minded than their older conterparts, who are usually single mothers or looking for a beta provider.
Also, in general, a university education or a job, has never bettered a colombian woman.

How is Colombia for a non Spanish speaking guy in his mid 50s?

A friend of mine asked for travel recommendations. He runs his own business, not particularly fit, and looks his age. But is able to bang above average looking late 30s women over here, so he has a bit of game. The fact that he has a pretty fancy condo, and sports car probably doesn't hurt. His preferred age range is late 20s to early 30s.

Which cities do you recommend in Colombia? Barranquilla if I remember well? Myself I went to Medellin, and was disappointed Zero WGF.

The coast and even here in Cali. In Medellin still, paisas are taught to value older men, except those who dont speak spanish and are considered sex tourists.
The women from Cali, are a pain in the ass, but once a week... there always appears a fresh 18 to 21 yr old, to make you like it here.
Nonetheless, my money is on Barranquilla being a bit better and regular, or even a 3rd tier city like Manizales.

I have connected way better with the 18 to 21s that I have banged here, than the older chicks. Obviously, I speak fluent spanish. And, I get more looks and attention, especially online, from the 24 to 30s, but that is a smokescreen.
I repeat, Colombia is a blessing to the world, for the amount of young attractive girls, who still like a mature men... especially those who have their shit together.

Not too bad, Colombians are generally pretty cool if you play it cool but the nightlife scene is quite different than in North America as people tend to go out in groups of friends and they sit at a table and get bottles, there's less mingling between strangers at the night club. For a single guy or a group of guys, this can be frustrating at first but you can work with it, usually by befriending the guys in the group and getting introduced to the girls. As far as aggressive exes goes, yeah they exist as Colombians seem to be pretty jealous people but I never heard of anything too crazy, all I know is that you really should avoid fucking married girls down there, that can get you into some really hot water (killed), so be careful.

This is a really accurate post. Here is an example of the things that happen in Colombia. I was sitting in a restaurant in Parque Lleras (Thanks to the forum and my own experiences, I now know to stay the hell out of Parque Lleras unless I'm already with a girl). I saw two girls walk in who were real quality for Colombians (again, Colombians don't really impress me). I decided to send them a round of drinks, put it on my check, then go over and talk to them. After serving them the drinks, the waiter then comes back to me and said, "I'm sorry. They wouldn't allow you to pay for their drinks and they are now with this guy." I looked over and a they are sitting with a little guy with a mullet and a graphic t-shirt. I stayed for a while eating and drinking and about every five minutes, the waiter would bring me another aguila without me having ordered it. Eventually, the waiter told me that those girls wanted to talk to me and to go wait for them outside the women's bathroom. I went over there and when the girls came out I talked to them for a few minutes and they both gave me their numbers. I then went back to my table and asked for the check. The waiter said that those girls said that they would take care for it and that I could just leave. What obviously happened is that they told the mullet guy that they had some food and beers before he got there and just got him to pay for it. I'm not a leech or anything, but I found the entire episode pretty interesting.

Temporary residence permit for two years that may be granted as long as the State corresponding to the nationality of the holder grants equivalent advantages for Colombian nationals in order to obtain a Visa.

Based on criteria of reciprocity, the only ones that can apply for this visa are the citizens from:

Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay and Venezuela.

Duration: Two (2) years.

By the way Venezuela got kicked from the Mercosur at the moment.
I was looking for a country to cheaply get it (25k peru, quite expensive for a piece of paper), the best would be Colombia or Brazil.
