Hey guys, I'm considering taking a break from LA and moving to Vegas for one to two months. I tried looking on Craigslist and there are tons of places that advertise "close to the strip" but they're a good distance away. Anybody have any tips on a cheap hotel/apartment near the strip for a month or two?

Thanks in advance!

What's cheap to you?

You can get a studio here for $550/month: http://www.apartmentguide.com/apartments...ents/7875/

I'll just use this thread as a Vegas updates thread.

On May 8-9 and May 15-16 is the Rock in Rio music festival, in the lot across from the SLS.

Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Metallica, Linkin Park, No Doubt, John Legend, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Joss Stone. Additionally, there are EDM DJs on both weekends.

I won't be going to the festival, lineup is totally wack and sounds like trying to appeal to middle America, but there could be some great talent at SLS while it's going on.

For Sunday, there is:

Steve Aoki at Wet Republic
Diplo at Encore Beach (I'd go to this one)

at night:

Method Man and Redman at Drais (I'd like to see them but not sure about the venue)
Sunnery James at Hakkasan
Skrillex at XS (You'll want to be here)

Awesome man thanks a bunch. I'm seeing a lot of "younglings" so I'm guessing this is still spring break time.

@Veloce, I'd put in 20 dollars to start every time, most bartenders ask that you do a dollar bet when they serve you a drink, but in between drinks I'd do 25 cent bets and slow play

By the end of my trip I was down 10 dollars

I highly recommend the center bar in the Cosmopolitan, it was the least stingy of any bar (up to 20 dollar drinks comped), and had the most social action. I tried out most of the strip, other places were hit or miss

One thing about Vegas that baffles me is how people don't mention it's a major American city with regular folks and restaurants everywhere even on The Strip with normal prices for food and shit.

The biggest pain the ass is actually getting there because of the massive size of the casino complexes but you can easily buy "regular" affordable food and drinks all over the place.

It's not exactly a health nuts dream but when I'm there I just eat at Denny's or a local cheap Thai place or whatever I would eat in any other major American city. The prices are no different than anywhere else and in fact they are cheaper than the NYC and London's of the world as far as a solid breakfast or dinner for $10 if you order an entree and drink water. Again think Denny's or cheap Chinese spots, etc.

Additionally even bringing a flask is almost unnecessary as you can drink, and thus pregame, in public. The drinking laws are so lax in Clark County you can buy booze at any gas station or corner store which is all around the Strip. The way I do this is simply buy my six pack or tall boy or whatever and drink it on my way to the bar or whatever. By the time I'm there, I'm already so nice and buzzed I only drink one or two things at the venue.

Additionally the Strip is filled with promotional food and drink shit everywhere. If you are about to go to a club and need a quick bite or a pick me up drink, especially in the middle of the Strip near places like Planet Hollywood you can easily find a full pint of Heineken or whatever deal for dirt cheap. And again 7-11 and all that shit is everywhere if you need to keep your prices down on water food booze whatever.

Lastly don't neglect Old Town Vegas as a nice place to stay for the cheap which has more character. We've stayed at 4Queens or whatever that place is called and it was great. You are more likely to find locals or UNLV students around there and there are actual regular bars to game in there not just crazy casinos or expensive clubs.

In general Vegas is one of the most affordable and logistically sound places to game or party or whatever. The biggest downsides to me are the amount of fat tourists with their family in the daytime (day game kind of sucks in this regard - better to work your way into hotel pools and pool parties) and the amount of trashy gold digger chicks and their accompanying fake baller orbiters.

Other than that I love Vegas and it's much cheaper to have an epic time there than fucking LA or even NYC if you don't know what you're doing.

Hey, can anybody comment on the quality and quantity of the girls at the college (University of Nevada Las Vegas)? Just curious as it's pretty close to the strip. For anybody living in Vegas, seems like it would be an additional source of ladies to go after.

Thanks in advance

Heading to Vegas tomorrow.... another thing I recently heard about was prostitutes who dress like normal club girls, flirt with you, go home with you and then either before or after the bang demand money for their services.

Any truth to this, and if so how do I spot / avoid.

The pros are usually girls by themselves. You meet them anywhere really at the hotel cab lines and they make small talk, drop little hints (do you like to party, also a codeword for doing drugs though). They are even sometimes in the club on the dance floor (lower tier spots where its easy to get into on off nights).

They approach you or are aggressively trying to make eye contact with you and will smile when you look at them, usually at the bar playing video poker and looking on their cell phones. They look like normal college girls, often just wearing black dresses and stuff like that. Sometimes you get their number and then when you text them they drop hints.

Once you get them in the room, they usually won't negotiate until they have your pants down and at this point, most guys are so horny and want to get laid that the $300-500 isn't that big of a deal. If they are pretty sober and the whole getting up to the room is a little too easy, then that's a red flag that they are pros.

I think a decent test is to do a multipe bounce to different bars or areas, get a few drinks instead of just going upstairs. Another thing is to do a shot or two, I don't think the hooker would want to get too inebriated since she'd has to work the entire night into the morning.

The hooker will want to get to your room as fast as possible, you should be the one in control and determine when you go upstairs.

I've been to Vegas multiple times in the past year, and while this is possible, I think hookers are fairly easy to avoid. While these are not full-proof, look out for the following characteristics, especially if a girl displays several of them:

1) Solo girls. When's the last time you saw a beautiful 8+ girl, dolled up, hanging out alone at a club or classy bar for an extended period of time?
2) Girls who aren't drinking, or seem to be nursing a non-alcoholic drink.
3) Girls at hotel bars. Last time in Vegas I actually bumped into a hooker at Omnia, but there are much more of them at the bars (usually displaying the two traits above)
4) Girls who approach you (or blatantly eye fuck you and then aggressively flirt when you approach). If you aren't used to hot ass girls coming up to you and aggressively flirting with you, be wary, especially if it happens at a hotel bar.

While its possible that a really clever escort will sneak up on you, it doesn't really seem plausible to me. Think about it from the perspective of a hooker; why would she waste an hour or more flirting with a guy, laughing at his jokes, making out, etc, just to drop the hooker bomb at the end of the night? There are a ton of dudes in Vegas who are willing to pay hundreds of dollars for her "services" and won't waste her time with anything else. I don't think its reasonable.

I'm sure the Vegas locals can drop more intel on how else to avoid escorts, but this is based on my experience.

Las Vegas on the Cheap

My first trip to Vegas 15 or so years ago I me a girl dressed like a devil (it was Halloween but a weekday so it wasnt too crazy) late at night. As she was walking by I called her over and she came. We chatted briefly and I suggested we hit an after hours spot (drai's) - it was like 2am. She was cool with it. I suggested first we shoot up to my room for a quick drink - she was ok with it. I thought 'man, this town is easy' as we headed up. We get to the room and I tried to kiss her and thats when she told me 'its $xxx for full services, etc.'

If it seems to good to be true it probably is.

Vegas Data Sheet:

TLDR: Vegas is a hot girl paradise and its quite easy to pull with highly aggressive game (pulled both nights I was there). I stayed at Treasure Island but wish I would have forked over the extra cash to chill in a Tier 1 like Wynn, Encore, Cosmo, or Caesar's Palace. Food is expensive and overpriced, next time 80% of my meals would come from chain restaurants and protein bars. Pedialyte is a must. Friday and Saturday Vegas is a different city from weekday Vegas.

The Setup:
If you're coming from the East Coast like me I highly recommend flying in on Thursday and staying at a relatively cheap hotel even off the strip and using this day basically to suit up for the ensuing battle. Then Friday, Saturday, and possibly Sunday book a Tier 1 Casino Hotel.

Why? Three reasons:

First:
the flight time combined with the time zone shift is probably going to wreck your internal clock, if you get there at 5pm you actually got there at 8pm. This means a typical vegas night where you might stay out till 3-5am is registered by your body as 6-8am. That on top of the drain that your long ass annoying flight already induced.

Second:
you're going to need to prep when you get there anyway. Check-in Get unpacked, go buy booze for hotel room/flask (if you don't want to pay out the ass at places/ pregame), go buy 3 bottles of offbrand pedialyte for the inevitable hangovers, and 4 energy drinks to go all night (five hour energy style is preferred since you can put it in your pocket and drink as necessary). You're also going to want and find a decent meal since you haven't probably eaten much besides shitty biscottis and in flight pretzels. If you go right for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 on the strip this shit is frankly going to eat up a decent amount of time walking back and forth (way more than you think) and you will be paying through the nose for all of it. Beyond that it will only tire you more for the night to come.

Third:
The quality of ladies and night life shifted dramatically from Thursday to Friday and Saturday. It almost wasn't even the same place. The explosive profusion of women during Fri/Sat can't be exaggerated. On top of this the pool parties (at least from the outside looked ridiculous). Hordes of hot ladies waiting in line with an odd dearth of sausage. This basically means you have four strong opportunities on these days to pull. One pool party each day and one night club each day. It seems pretty hard to bounce from one club to another both from a money and time perspective.

For these reasons it seems smarter to me to prep on Thursday get all of your Vegas/Vacation chores out of the way and get a good nights rest so you can go hard for the two days that really count. Do your gambling, see some touristy shit, scope the scene. The next day you should know which club and/or pool party you are going to in advance. If you don't have a car, scoping the "scene" the day of is going to be very time consuming. Obviously eject if a venue looks really shitty but you should have a good idea in advance.

Expensive Overpriced Food:
Food is expensive. The buffets even at tier 2 hotels start around 18$ and can go as high as $50 and you can't save any for later. Any somewhat interesting looking restaurant is going to cost you minimum $15 with no drinks / tip. (Note: I do eat way more food than the average guy). But beyond being expensive I think its quite overpriced. The buffet at Treasure island and Morels for sure... in my home city I can just find way better for cheaper. The only exception was Gordon Ramsay's restaurant Pub and Grill which had big portions and was pretty tasty (located in Caesar's Palace). Still nothing to write home about, however. This may simply be a philosophical or value difference but when I go to a new place I try to focus all my money/time on the aspects that make that place most cool/unique. As such I recommend not really eating anywhere fancy while in Vegas.

Food Cheap:
- Bring protein bars/drinks/powder from home if you can to supplement some of your eating. If you don't have a car and think taxis are overpriced you are going to be walking constantly and thus at the whim of your stomach. There were many times I ducked into a place and spent too much time and money getting food simply because I was so fucking hungry. A protein bar would have done the trick and kept me satisfied until I got somewhere I really wanted to go.
- Dennys et al... There are a few chains on the strip such as Denny's which are reasonably priced. Off the strip you can definitely find cheap food but if you don't have a car you're offsetting that anyway with cab fare.

Hotels / Clubs:
The hot girl disparity between Tier 1 Casino/Hotels and Tier 2 can hardly be overstated. Tier 2 (which is what I'm calling Treasure Island where I stayed) had an average number of cute girls, typical of what you would see if you went to a shopping mall in a tier 2 city. Encore/Wynn/Caesar's/Cosmo were crawling with 8's and 9's roaming like taught nubile wolfpacks out for blood. On Fri/Sat I couldn't walk 5 feet without running into top shelf ladies. These four tier 1's all have slightly different vibes but to my mind were essentially interchangeable. Cosmo is the most unique from an interior design perspective, Caesar's is most classic vegas, and Wynn Encore take classic and modernize it slightly.

Cosmo Club:
I didn't actually go into the club here because frankly there was no need to. I just milled around outside near the chandelier bar and let shit come to me. Even if you're only here to practice this spot provides infinite opportunities. Also the chandelier bar itself is pretty cool and is where I actually pulled from my first night.

Encore Night Club:
Somehow by the grace of god the bouncer let me and my friend (a guy) in here in front of easily 50-60 hot girls lined up. I still don't understand why but fuck it. Lil Jon was playing and the clientele inside was on point. Like really on point. Like Brazilian looking models every time you turned around not to mention the ratios which were insanely in guys favor. Me and my friend pulled an 8 and her friend from here, with pretty little effort.

The clubs are really awesome but I don't think they are in any way necessary as hot girls are everywhere including at the bars in all these swanky casinos. If you're going low cost stay in a tier 2 hotel and then just hit up the bars inside the tier 1's. The quality/volume is unmatched. Bonus savings if you bring a flask, which we did.

Strip Clubs:
Didn't go to any

Gambling:
Gambling isn't really my thing but I did do some. Penny slots machines are absolutely no fun to me, so the only games I played were blackjack and 3 card poker at low stakes tables. The dealers were generally helpful and tolerant of my novice gambling skills etiquette.

*Pro Tip* when the drink waitress comes around order a shot not a mixed drink. The mixed drinks were very weak on the alcohol at both Caesars and Encore (at the gambling tables).

Additional Considerations: Find comfortable shoes if you don't plan on cabbing around, you are going to walk your ass off. Not even a day in and my feet were pretty messed up, by Sunday morning they were riddled with blisters.

In Summary:
Bring a flask, protein bars, sun tan lotion (super expensive to buy on the strip), mints etc. Don't waste money the first night staying at a swanky hotel (if you're flying in from far away). Sleep cheap and use the money you saved to ball harder on the other nights. Once there buy your alcohol, mixers, energy shots, and Pedialyte from a convenience store off the strip. Staying Tier 1 on Friday and Saturday will save you loads of time/energy and grace you with stupid easy logistics. Not to mention the chance of your room being smack beside hot girls. The clubs are cool, though sometimes hard to get into, its often just as feasible to hang outside the clubs or at the bars in the swanky casinos. The pool parties are less hard to get into and looked pretty insane. Club and pool party entrance fees ranged from $30-50 while I was there.

Booked a flight next month Friday to Sunday for $130 round trip on Spirit Airlines (they have pretty restrictive bag restrictions though). Not weird times either, Friday afternoon and fly back to LA 7pm on Sunday (gives me time to hit up a dayclub).

Its all about planning ahead of time if you want to save money. Sometimes its also much cheaper to book two one way tickets on different airlines.

Solid guide. I've rarely hit the hotel bars to look for girls but I'll definitely consider it when I'm in Vegas this weekend. My thought is that clubs really aren't too expensive when you plan in advance. Even the hottest clubs (Omnia, XS, Marquee, Hakkasan) have $30 tickets for guys online, and if you get those and show up before 11pm, you'll almost certainly get in with, at most, a 20 minute line. Drink prices are probably similar at both high-end bars and clubs. The upside of clubs is that there is basically a never-ending supply of fine girls once you're inside on a weekend night. You can run around approaching a new girl every minute for 4 hours and not run out of girls to talk to.

Also, good call on food; I think buffets are an absolute no-no for a player. For one, they're ridiculously overpriced - the cheapest dinner buffets on the strip are ~$35, and the ones that actually have high-quality food are over $50. More importantly, if you're planning on hitting the clubs/bars and partying all night, the last thing in the world you want is to eat three cuts of prime rib, a plate of pasta, and whatever else the buffet has. You'll feel like a lazy sack of shit the whole night. I try to get two square meals when in Vegas, with a dinner around 7-730 so that I feel energized but not too stuffed as I begin to drink.

For the LA guys, do you think there's a big advantage to flying as opposed to driving? I haven't flown to Vegas since I was 10 years old, but I've heard that McCarran can be a complete clusterfuck on Fridays and Sundays. Meanwhile, when I drive, I try to get out Friday early (~10am) to avoid all traffic, and leave Vegas Sunday at like 6pm (or, really early on Sunday), by which point there isn't too much traffic either. Driving without traffic is only 4-4.5 hours, but yeah, leaving Friday from LA at 330 isn't fun.

A good source for cheaper meals is the Fashion Square Mall. There is a food court on the top floor as well as a Grimaldi's Pizzeria, Johnny Rockets, etc. Also an ABC Store (from Hawaii) has basic necessities that are a little cheaper than the Walgreens on the strip.

I'd caution about switching casinos. Thing being, check out time is 11am and check in time is 4pm. If you're wanting to do a dayclub on the day you switch hotels, its not logistically good. Also you'll spend extra money going to the new hotel, waiting in the long Friday afternoon check in lines, etc. Plus on Thursdays, the hotels are usually a little cheaper.

I love eating at nice restaurants and Vegas is good for that. It is a bit expensive though. For example, LAVO at the Palazzo has really great pasta but you can get similar pasta across the street at Maggiano's at the Fashion Square mall for 1/2 the price.

I sometimes to the Breakfast Buffett if the line isn't too long. Its way faster to go in and out and sometimes a place like Treasure Island gives you free buffets if you book the room on their website. The hotels sometimes give you a coupon book, use that, sometimes you get buy one get one free dinners, drinks, etc. Always a good way to save cash.

I used to drive all the time (probably over 50-60 times). But now I fly exclusively. I live near LAX so its easy, plus I hate the drive back, especially since I'm hungover or tired on Sundays after a crazy weekend.

I went to Omnia the second weekend it opened when Armin Van Buuren played, and I'm going again this weekend.

It's tough to go wrong between those two, but if you're getting a table, I would recommend Omnia. For one, it's huge - the main room is larger than XS or Hakkasan, and probably bigger than Marquee as well. There's a long circular path around the dance floor (with tables between path and dance floor) which is a good spot to open girls. I remember it taking me 10 minutes to do one circle, so it's really big. The second floor has the entrance to the outside deck, and another circular path, but it's all tables on the top floor. Regardless of what floor you're on, every table has a great view of the DJ, and you can easily swoop girls from the path to your table. The "Heart of Omnia" is the hip-hop club, and its a pretty big room on the first floor. I felt girls there were actually more receptive than in the main room, but quality is worse.

The outside deck has a pretty good view of the strip, but there was a long line to get out there. There are tables out there too, but unless they are WAY cheaper, I wouldn't recommend it; you don't hear any of the music and it wouldn't feel like you're in a club. It's lower energy than the outside area of XS.

Girls are just as hot as at Hakkasan. However, unlike Hakkasan, the place doesn't feel like a cramped and sweaty bathtub (Hakkasan is my least favorite of the top clubs). They designed vents so that you never feel too hot, unless you're smack on the dance floor. I remember I wore a blazer and still felt fine. I'll see if that's changed at all when I go this weekend.

Didn't think about the lack of overlap on check out check in. Definitely something to coordinate. Also didn't think about long check in lines.... as I showed up Thursday afternoon and walked right to the front.

Agreed pre-gaming / flasks are much better options, but if you're going to be gambling anyway. I must not be baller enough, I asked for a double and was flatly denied at two different tables.

1 shot of alcohol at a top level club is $13-15. A double will be approximately $28? Is that right?

From last few times I've gone, prices are at the tier 1 and 2 clubs:

Budlight- $10
Corona/Foreign Beer- $11
Standard/Premium Mixed drink: $15
Red Bull + Vodka: $18

My usual strategy is to drink in my room or hotel bars beforehand, then at the venue I buy a maximum of 3 drinks all night. Aside from the overpriced nature, there's usually a line to get a drink that's annoying to wait through. For me, this is a key value of getting a table, not having to wait in a line of people 5-6 people deep for a drink.

It's been a long time, but when I ordered a double from the casino waitress I held up a $5 or $10 bill (or chip) when I asked, and gave it to her after she said "ok." After that the waitress would bring the stronger drinks for the normal $1-2 tip and she would come around more often.

However, you really shouldn't drink when you're gambling at a table unless you don't care if you win or lose. If you're trying to count cards (which is not illegal, but they will get on your ass if they catch you doing it) or trying to play for volume in order to earn a comp from the pit boss, you especially shouldn't drink.

By the way, does anyone know if it's possible to get a "VIP pass" for the hotel's club comped by a pit boss in the casino if you play enough volume?

Las Vegas on the Cheap

I recently visited Vegas so I wanted to post an update to a post I did in October in another thread. Henry Sprinkler's post is pretty accurate based on what I've seen so I'll add in some of the blank spots.

Las Vegas experience really depends on when you go. A taxi driver told me last time that there is a rhythm to the city and depending on the week, it can be totally different. Now I see that. Last time I was there I met lots of Brits, Europeans and international tourists. This time it was almost all americans with a few UK ballers. Maybe the Rock and Rio had an effect too, because some nights were awesome.

I flew in from Europe on a trip for other reasons and I managed a layover in Las Vegas going and coming on two consecutive weekends. I stayed at the Cosmopolitain and the Encore. I totally agree with the jet-lag comment. I had a nine hour time difference and while I can ignore that for 3 days, by the last day, I couldn't go out til 5am, sleep 5 or 6 hours and then do it again without some effect. Before you say, this is the Cheap Vegas thread!, keep reading. There are lots of tips here even if you stay at those hotels.

First of all, if you go to the Cosmopolitain, always join the "Identity" loyalty rewards program, if you walk in the hotel from the taxi drop off point (next to The registration and Vesper bar), after you walk pass Vesper bar about 100 feet down on the right is the Identity window. Just give them your id and email and you're golden. Then whenever you spend money in the hotel (drinks, casino, Marquee club) show the card and get points. When i was looking for good hotel deals I saw a post from a woman that said after she joined that she always got special room offers in her email. So I looked in the junk email I used to book last time I stayed there and lo and behold, I had offers. But none were valid for the time I was visiting, so I just called up and the hotel, they transferred me to some other desk and they gave me a buy one night, get one free deal. (just not valid on friday or saturday night). Last time I was there I had a good run of luck at the casino and won about $900 in the first hour, then pretty much replenished whatever I spent during my three days there so maybe I had decent points.

*Pro Tip* when the drink waitress comes around order a shot not a mixed drink. The mixed drinks were very weak on the alcohol at both Caesars and Encore (at the gambling tables).

In the Cosmopolitain and Encore casinos, I found the opposite. They would give me doubles or triples without asking (when I order a drink on the rocks it's easy to see). If you are playing at their $15 tables they want you drunk. At night the minimum goes up to $25 and if I order a drink and decide to quit playing before it arrives I just walk, or that drink could make the drinks in clubs look super cheap! So playing to get free drinks always backfires for me. If I'm really trying to win money, I won't touch it. But in Vegas everything gets confused.

Hotels
Although prices are comparable, the difference between Cosmo and Encore hotels is huge. Cosmo gives everybody a feeling that this is their place and you see all sorts of people rolling through. Encore/Wynn hotels heavily monitor everything and at all the entrances there is a sign that says guests only. I've been told that that during the 1970s if you went to Vegas, all the hotels on the strip were glamorous and upscale. Men went to gamble and see the fight, women went to shop, everybody dressed up (the women to an extreme) and it was a special vibe. Downtown is where most people stayed. I think Encore/Wynn is the only hotel i've been in that comes close to that description. Once you're inside, people are really open to you. Married chicks chat with you in the elevator, every girl will stop to talk and so on. Cosmo has the babes, but not the exclusiveness ... except for when you're in one of the guests only hotel pools. Babes are hotter in Encore too. Between Encore and Wynn, Encore is the more exclusive. Wynn has a lot more people rolling through it because of the shows and the bigger facilities (restaurants, casino, shows, etc).

Pools and Pool parties
Just for reference, at Encore there is the Encore beach club (day party and Surrender club at night), then two pools: regular pool and european (topless) pool. The XS club takes place on those two pools. I hit the pools every day i was at the Encore, in fact, once you're in that hotel you never need to go outside of it, day or night. Rumor has it that there are only old wrinkly chicks at the European pools but I found it otherwise. My first day, Thursday, there weren't many people, just one blonde cougar with a big silicon rack. The European pool also has blackjack and craps tables (you've seen them if you've been to XS) and a bar. Around the bar it was like a yacht club on Thursday with 40-50s yo ballers and some ex babes. On Friday it was like an East Coast frat reunion (i.e. lots of 30 something guys feeling entitled with fewer babes). Friday was the best day for the babes. There was a group of three mid-20s American girls 7/8s who were topless with hot bodies, hammered and just walking around cruising guys. As I said, people feel really open and relaxed once they know everybody around them is staying there. Tehre was also a 30ish super babe who was an 8/9 with a huge set of natural hangers. One 60yo guy was walking buy her when she was going to the bar in just a thin transparent coverup and his eyes became saucers, mouth dropped open and he did a 360 degree head rotation to see if anybody else saw what he just saw.

I also checked out the Encore beach club on a Saturday. Walking out of the hotel past the line, I only saw about 20 girls. I thought it was a girls only line, then saw one guy. So about an hour later I went in and the ratio was slightly skewed in favor of girls. But this wasn't really anything special. Just like Surrender in the daytime with everybody wearing beach wear. For $55, it wasn't worth it. If you buy from the hotel concierge you get a special price ticket that lets you avoid standing in line. Some days it was more than the general admission and some less (the concierge showed me the price list). The day I was there it wasn't that hot and it is still May, so not really pool party season. One local chick was telling me at the bar that I should check out the bouncers because they are only looking in the pool. Encore is an upscale pool party, so no shenanigans. She said that Hard Rock's pool party got a huge fine for drugs and debauchery (sex in the pool). I would say to avoid the Marquee and Encore Beach parties and go for the Hard Rock if you want to see extreme pool party stuff. If you are staying in the 5* hotel it's a ton easier to meet chicks at the normal hotel pool just because they know you are staying there and a lot of these are ones you would never see in a club, plus it's free. In the Cosmopolitain hotel the Bamboo pool is the one to go to.

Clubs
After the Encore pool party (a Saturday) I went to the XS club. In my last Vegas post I wrote about going there for the Sunday night party and how it was not great. but this time it was one of the best club experiences I've ever seen. And I've seen the best in many cities around the world. I could tell lots of stories about that night, but this was a new one for me:

I saw a pair of girls pretty early in the night, one tall blonde 8 face, 10 body, perfect round ass and slavic style face, with another blonde 6 body, 7 face, both about 25. The tall one had bleached hair and lots of black hairpins. She looked so quirky I figured she must be Russian. So I open them and to my surprise they were immediately receptive. They were from Texas and said they were "partners" there to celebrate there 5th anniversary. The small one said, we are bissexual but we like dick too. We always find a guy who we can take home to use every night. Then she goes, "your nipples are hard" and starts rubbing them. I said, I can't see yours. So the tall blonde pulls open her top, pulls down her bar and says mine are pink. Then the other says is your dick hard too? And starts rubbing it. Then the tall one decides to try too. Now the first one tries again and says it's getting hard now, maybe you can party with us. Where are you staying? I said right up there and pointed to the tower that overlooks the pool. We can have drinks and watch the party from up there then come back. So she tells the tall hairpin girl, we can go up to his room and drink, trying to get agreement. But the tall one frowns and says, what time is it, so she can see my watch. Is it Cartier? (looks nothing like a Cartier and was nothing special) so I said, no it's my travel watch. So the small one says give me your business card, we will call you in 30 minutes. Then they cruised. I wait a second and followed after them. A group of three guys in suits had been watching i guess, because one guy says, "Have fun!". But for the rest of the night they hoped from table to table. No idea what they were looking for.

No biggie, it was still only around 12:00 otherwise I wouldn't have tried to close them so fast. That night there were so many hot babes. At one point i was near the entrance and three waves of girls 5-10 each time came down the stairs, no guys. For the night there were easily more girls than guys. it was like nothing I've seen before. The guys were also not thirsty. I opened a pair of smokers from Atlanta and was really interested since the 5'10" southern belle society girl would be a new one for me. I started with the 8 and her 10 blonde friend was getting hit on by a shorter chodey guy but watching me. But some guys next to me at the bar insisted that I do tequila shots with them. I was pretty drunk already since I had started at around 3pm, so I said yes, watched a little chodey guy take the Atlanta girls away (probably to a table) and with the jet lag, all day drinking combination that double tequila shot put me away for the rest of the night and I messed up a truly golden opportunity a bit later.

Here's a video:

I opened that tall blonde you see and talked to her for awhile, but after the tequila I have no idea what we talked about.

I should also note that on that Friday in XS, it was really swanky, half the guys were ballers who you could see were used to that atmosphere and the other half were like guys who put on a suit with nothing matching because they thought it would get them past the door. I was sporting a custom made blazer styled after a character in a movie renowned for its fashion. I couldn't find one so I got one made. When I wear that chicks always give me complements...and every opener works, but they also ask me how old I am, which they never do otherwise. Whenever I saw a super hot babe that night she was with a guy who looked really sharp. I went the next night, Saturday, and it was awful. David Guetta was playing, it was 3:1 guys, two times as many people, average height went down by 3" and was like a different world.

I also tried Surrender and Marquee. I like Surrender and never have any reason to complain there. Marquee is a little bit stiff and the layout is not so great unless you have a table. In the Hip Hop room lots of girls seemed to be getting picked up. I saw at least 5 pickups in the first 15 minutes with girls ever making out or walking out with guys they seemed to just meet.

If its easy to get laid in Vegas, then tons of guys are going for 4s, 5s. there was one English baller who I met at the Encore beach club who seemed like he should have tight game and at around 2AM I saw him lean a chunky 5 across the bar and make out with her then they left. My last night there I was in the Encore hotel bar waiting for a chick I met the night before and a chunky 4 proposed me directly to ditch my friend and go with her... no thanks.

Heading to Vegas tomorrow.... another thing I recently heard about was prostitutes who dress like normal club girls, flirt with you, go home with you and then either before or after the bang demand money for their services.

Any truth to this, and if so how do I spot / avoid.

Totally true, I met a really hot one in Surrender with her friend, then ran into her outside the club on the casino floor, had a drink with her at the bar and then she wanted to see my room. Up there she wanted money, I said no, she walked out. Then two minutes later she knocks on the door, is back asking for money for time spent. I said let's go down and have a drink. So we go to the bar, one guy on the other side of me tries to hone in asking for a light. then tells her, you are the most beautiful girl I've seen here. So I ignore him and she whispers in my ear, "go!" I say no, you came back to me, you go to him. So she won't do that, but we really had a good conversation and somehow she ends up in my room again, but I won't still pay her so she takes off.

If she thinks you have money and is willing to risk it for some reason, you can't know she is a ho. But if you are doing better than ever with a better quality than you ever can get normally, that is a red flag.
