I don't even need to see the video to know what the serial naysayers are thinking...

Who cares about the naysayers to put it bluntly to be honest? It's their choice to be broke and/or unhappy and not do anything about it.

Great video! Perfect timing for me! Some of the important things that I took from it:

1. When starting a business take yourself as the user and develop the business as if you are a customer.

2. Create conditions that will give you the highest probability of success but don't expect success.

3. Income without time has no value.

4. This recession is a great time to take a step back and think about your life.

5. Practice the 'slippers and bread' lifestyle so that you don't fear it which will give you the stomach to make terrifying decisions.

6. The cost of doing something is not those 2-3 minutes that you spend on that task but also the time it takes you to get back to where you stopped.

I'm going to have my career hacker product be almost entirely screencast videos with corresponding PDF worksheets. It's such a powerful medium for a product - both for the person consuming the information as well as the creator trying to communicate an action plan or a lesson. In addition to this, the value of the product skyrockets when video and audio is added as the product seems more "real".

These guys are legit and know their shit - I definitely got a lot of value out of the featured interviews.
