Job Description
This position is responsible for helping to negotiate insurance options employers in the New York Metro area. You will be corresponding with CFOs and Human Resources to obtain data so that their insurance programs can be marketed to the competing insurance carriers. Once the quotes are obtained, this data needs to be analyzed to identify the appropriate solutions for the client. Detailed excel spread sheets need to be created for presentation to clients and prospects. Acting as an intermediary, there will be a lot of contact with both the business owners (decision makers) and the insurance carrier underwriters.
Job Requirements
This position requires a college degree, strong math skills, knowledge of excel and strong verbal and presentation skills. Knowledge of employee benefits a plus. Some travel may be required.
