After some time in Medellin I'm now in Vitoria. Since ColombianCupid was a great way to meet quality chicks I thought BrazilCupid would be as well.

Boy was I wrong.

On ColombianCupid I found myself getting aroused when I would look through pictures of the girls. On BrazilCupid I find myself laughing at the ugly girls because they think they have a chance of landing a guy.

Maybe its a Vitoria thing, but the quality of these online girls is way below what I see on the street here.

Badoo is the biggest site for dating...14 million brazilians

Orkut is also another good option....basically what facebook/twitter is to the US for them....

Facebook is another good option...growing pretty fast in Brazil but not the impact of Badoo or Orkut....

I remember Roosh mentioning Vitoria has good looking girls. I don't think you should put too much emphasis on brazilcupid.com

My confidence took a big hit once I got here and realized how bad my Portuguese is. Because of my basic vocabulary and strong accent people treat me like I'm stupid and don't look me in the eye. Whereas in Colombia I had the confidence and right attitude to approach girls, here I admit that I'm a little afraid of going up to a random girl and talking to her.

I know that I have to approach if I want to bang but cultivating the right attitude in a foreign environment isn't easy. Using online dating sites is taking the easy way out.

Man I really don't know if Victoria is that hard to crack for gringos but here in Sao Paulo or Rio the only fact that you are a gringo puts you in advantage against local Brazilian players.Obviously it depends on your origin / native language / looks and specially your game skills off course.
Here in Brazil,most girls will be very welcoming to foreigners.

A good dating site for Brasil is parperfeito.com and amigo.com.br but on those sites, you do need to write/read portuguese. Needless to say the quality is a lot higher than the very average to mediocre girls you find on brazilcupid.com

I'm living with a Brazilian. Through him I met another friend, who has a girlfriend, who has a sister who has a friend that speaks Spanish. I became friends with the Spanish speaking girl and we hung out last night. We went to a bar by the local university and she introduced me to some of her acquaintances that were there. Hurray for social circle game!
