Mystery on Conan

I don't think he comes off well at all. Essentially, he's a 10 minute joke--and it looks like even Simon Pegg is laughing at him!

He was on another show recently... that guy who used to do The Man Show. Same thing... came across as a joke. Though i'm sure it has helped him with exposure.

Mystery is more about getting attention than getting laid.

My gf's first impression of him is that he looks like a "douche"

My opinion is that most people are in denial that what he does actually works for him, and misinterpret the ideaology of being a PUA as someone being an arrogant, self-centered, poon-hound that cares nothing about the feelings of women. Which is true for the most part because that's why we do what we do. So when someone shows up on TV as the self-proclaimed "greatest PUA of all time" it's hard not to ridicule especially if you don't understand the mission.

Mystery knows his shit and he's proven himself. Of course everyone in the audience is going to snicker and laugh because they don't think anybody that looks like a freak can get chics. I've seen the same reactions when he's been on Jay Leno. When they announce, "world's greatest pick up artist", most these people who have never heard of Mystery probably expect some, tall dark and handsome hunk in a nice suit to walk out. But instead out comes some guy that looks like he could be in Marilyn Manson's band. Women laugh because they like to think they can't be so easily manipulated, and all the guys in audience are offended by the idea that some guy that looks like a freak is tagging more ass than they will in 10 lifetimes. So everyone has to beat up on him. He's a threat to the average woman who believes that shit about "I have the pussy so I make the rules" and he's a threat to the typical AFC that thinks the path to women is a nice car and spending lots of money on them.

The reason Mystery was being laughed isn't because "he's a threat to to the order" or whatever...it's because he looked like a douchebag and acted like one too.

If the audience was ready to side against him because he's a PUA, it's still his fault for failing to win them over and for being a foil for Conan the whole time. Go see Style's appearance on The View on youtube. Compared to Mystery, Style is graceful and charming and he's essentially hawking the same shit.

Does Pick Up need an image change?

I think it's perfect the way it is.

Absolutely no one believes it works, and when it does "work", it's the application of things "people already knew".

Is Conan red pill?

I'm reading up on science, pseudoscience and psychology and researching the relation of the three. It's funny that when I searched Conan this is the thread that came up. Gets me thinking.

*Edit Didn't realize I only searched by thread title lol obviously this has probably been covered. Fuck. Search backfire lol.

Frankly, I think it's glorious that PUA's can't convince the mainstream that it works. It means I don't have to adapt as quickly.

I'm wondering if Mystery is tapping in on this. It's a similar ideology to RVF in my mind, in that unless you get here on the 1st randomly and troll(then get banned) you have to make some sort of commitment to come back on the first and register. Natural selection.

Tons of people love the matrix. A few realize what red pill blue pill ideology is.. Research further. A select few of those take the red pill. A select few of those don't get trapped back in blue pill land.

I never get why so many people deny that pick-up works. Essentially all it's just approaching women your attracted to and initiating a conversation with them, while physically escalating. 95% of blue-pill ideas sound way less logical or practical than that.

"That pick-up stuff doesn't work, and I could do the same thing if I wanted too."
