and misleading headline. This is about a civil suit against Jeffrey Epstein and his prosecutors in the USA, not a criminal case in the UK. I don't even think the UK would have jurisdiction, if nothing happened there.

It does look like Epstein got a sweet deal compared to your average middle-class or poor defendant.
