Traveling to Columbia March 4-11

Im new on here but not a rookie. My wing and I are traveling to Colombia flying into Medellin on March 4 and returning from Cartagena on March 11. Will try to stop for a day maybe in Bogota.

Anyone in these places?
Anyone interested in joining?
Anyone can give us some info on which city is best to game and have some fun, and what to do or where to go?

BTW been reading the threads and forums for a while... you guys put up great stuff.

Thanks!

There is plenty of information on Colombia if you use the search function.

I don't know what your Spanish level is but you should be spending all you extra time until you leave trying to improve or learn Espanol.

^^^This. I have been twice; once with minimal Spanish fluency and a second time 1.5 yrs later after learning a lot more Spanish. It was fun both times but the second trip blew the other out of the water.

If you have very light hair/eyes you'll get a lot of attention but it won't be as fun without some Spanish proficiency. People in Bogota will be the easiest to understand. People in Cartagena will sound similar to other Caribbean dialects but a little different. Medellin is an accent in itself. There are some videos on youtube of people from Medellin (Paisas) speaking. You might want to tune your ear to it.
