How to get that hunger back

At the moment it feels like I don't really give a shit about women. This is a good thing of course...but I know full well how too much apathy can be a bad thing.

A while back I got involved with a real bad egg. I thought I did pretty well, but then I slipped up and unfortunately allowed her to do a number on my ego which got me down for a week or two. Same old fucking mistakes, whatever, live and learn. By this point I barely give a shit (she was too high maintenance and high ego for a common bitch like she was, and a stripper so that was never going to go on very long). However since then I'm kind of in this apathetic zone where, newly reminded how cuntish girls can be, I almost can't be bothered with them.

I guess of course I have to *want* to get out there and re-engage. Should I let this downtime continue naturally til my libido takes over again? I'm sure that any woman out there is going to subconsciously pick up on my disdain and skepticism no matter how much I'm pretending on the surface? There was a thread about "showing your desire" recently which got me thinking about this.

I'm from the school of thought that you should let your mojo come back and not to force it. Since you seem to be out of the Approach anxiety stage, I'd say focus on things that you want to achieve on your personal life while your mojo ain't there. When it'll come back, you'll be hungry again and will have the drive to push the limits for your approaches to be successful.

Are you happy?

If so, continue.

If not, find out what makes you happy and continue. When you have that happiness and drive, you will want to share it with people and you will be inspired to approach women and draw them into your bubble.

I'd say ride the waves as they come. Obviously you want to be careful not to slip into a funk where you loose site of your goals and ambitions.

I totally get the ebb and flow of your mojo. Since turning 30 and breaking up with a long time LTR, my libido is really up and down. As I get older I rarely get that insane burning desire to bang. It is fun, but honestly, sometimes I'd rather get outside and go on a hike or work in my shop.

It can be hard coming to terms with the fact that you don't want to bang everything in site anymore. Just make sure you don't let it get you down too much.

Take your time before you dive back headfirst

This could be the time to catch up on your to-do list, since having a main chick in your life can take energy and time away from some of those things

Exposing yourself to new environments, ideas and people will naturally bring your mojo back and perhaps change some of your hardwired beliefs

Look at this time as a growth period, so that next time out you can get what you desire out of your next involvement with a woman

*something tells me you didn't expect a happy ending being that your former was a egotistical stripper type, next time you want to listen to that little voice in your head

Yeah, I knew it wasn't going to last long with ego queen, its just the shit test and resulting blow out happened so fast after the initial lay that it completely threw me. I thought I'd at least get round two! I guess not though. I came onto her with a bravado that completely surprised me (though she wanted it as much as I did, there wasn't much real "game" involved I don't think) so the sudden change was a bit of a shock. Although it could easily be said I got out of there early! Which is good.

Are you angry? Not that you should be, but even negative energy is still energy and can be channel in a beneficial way.

I got into redpill pretty rough and had a lot of anger, but that anger fuels me to go out, meet new people and talk to girl with a ravenous anger that I'm struggling to get back now. Back at the time I would go out dancing 15h/week, martial arts 10h/week, approaches and talks to every girl and then come back home to write down my notes. Sleep 5-6h. For about 4 months.

Then my game got slightly better and I found a girl worthy of LTR. Though I still gamed on the side the LTR made me lazy. We broke up now but I don't feel the anger, hunger and energy to go on the prowl like that anymore. Feel like an useless old fart here. Lifting weights certainly help though.

Maybe find a new hobby that you really like that also put you in contact with lotta girls? Cooking, art, dancing etc. The double motivation really helps.

I'm going through the same kind of thing. I'm not angry though, more apathetic. I'm at the point where I wish I had the drive but don't. It is hard to force it, but if you just have one good interaction, that can turn everything around instantly. The hard part is forcing yourself to have interactions.

If you are masturbating too much it can cause it. It can also be a dip in testosterone. Both these have caused a loss of sex drive for me.

I feel the same way. I can't seem to get my killer instinct back. I'm early twenties.

If I'm in BJJ I'm super cerebral but I lack the aggression; in game, I often lose out because I either don't go out (no hunger, rather read or sleep early and exercise in the morning) or because another guy cavemanned his way through my target.

Hadn't thought about it until I read this thread. I think I'm going to get my testosterone checked [Image: lol.gif].
