Gawker owned Deadspin had SIX articles tonight on 3 Florida State's 59-20 blowout loss to 2 Oregon in the College Football Semifinals (compared to two for an 42-35 4 Ohio State upset over 1 Alabama that came down to the final minutes of the game ).

I personally cheered against FSU because I like to troll my uncle who is a big fan of theirs. How they managed to escape so many of these near loss situations was something this past season.

And I absolutely disagree with the notion that she may have been initially reluctant. I went a university that was really into football and a good program, but nowhere near FSU's stature. The story has so many angles, but suffice it to say she basically had consensual sex with him but at some point a few of his roommates/friends were watching, she objected and he shut the door and then afterwards she came up with the "rape" claim.

He's still a bit of a dirtbag for his actions but not a rapist as far as I can tell. But becasue of that and the fact that he's famous and such a good athlete, a lot of normal, everyday guys hate on him. Also, FSU sucks balls and play in a 2nd tier college football league and that makes it doubly annoying for the average frustrated college football fan (who isn't getting any).

Jameis is also kind of an arrrogant dbag and his coach is kinda sleazy so that's why he inspires the hate. I don't think he actually raped her, but he's nothing to celebrate.

I was joking re FSU really sucking. I think last year they would have lost 1-2 games at least if they had been in the SEC but they were still solid. This year I thought their undefeated record was pretty suspect and lo and behold was proven right. Still a good team though.
