Anti Gun PSA Sending The Wrong Message

In this video you will see a kid take a gun from a drawer at home, and put it in his backpack. He then takes the gun to school and turns it in to a teacher. What some people fail to realize is that in some jurisdictions this kid committed multiple felonies by possessing, concealing, transporting, and bringing a firearm onto school property. Granted it's not a real firearm (it's a BB gun), but if you didn't know guns you would have no idea.

What do you think happened to the kid after his dad had to go down to the school to retrieve his stolen property?

What would actually happen if this scenario played out in the real world as the film makers envision? Probably something like this:

Seattle, WA (AP) – A middle school student was arrested today when he brought a loaded firearm to school and brandished in a classroom in front of a teacher.

The incident occurred shortly after the beginning of the school day, during the break between first and second periods. The school was immediately placed in lockdown for four hours while police swept the building and searched for any additional weapons. School officials were inundated with calls from hundreds of parents during the lockdown, all concerned for their children’s safety.

At a press conference, the principal of the school said that this behavior was completely unexpected. “This was a good kid,” he noted, “we have no idea what drove him bring a loaded firearm to school. We’re still investigating, but assume he’d planned a killing spree, but changed his mind at the last moment.” The principal went on to explain that the student had been immediately expelled under the school’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy and that no appeals would be heard.

The student was subsequently turned over to the local police department, where he has been charged with theft, illegal possession of a firearm, violation of the “Gun Free Schools Act,” carrying a concealed weapon without a license and terrorism. The parents have been charged under Washington’s new I-594 for illegally transferring a gun without a background check.

Gun control activists live in a fantasy world completely divorced from reality. They don’t understand how things work where people actually live, preferring to view things as they wish them to be. In fantasy land, children handing guns over to their teachers makes perfect sense. But out here where the sky is blue, that’s quite possibly the dumbest, most dangerous suggestion I’ve ever seen.

The irony is that every gun control person I've talked to cites children finding and playing with the gun as the main reason they don't think people should own guns. And this is advocating that a kid handle the gun to turn it in.

But even having the kid alert any kind of authorities to complain about feeling unsafe with a gun in the home would be inadvisable. Think about it:

1. Little Billy tells his K-12 Academia SJW Propagandized Obese Female Obamaton teacher Big Bertha about daddy's 983 squirrel.
2. Big Bertha goes and calls the police about Little Billy's father threatening Little Billy with guns, most likely while saying negative things about women and minorities.
3. Little Billy's home is swatted, and his daddy gets his brains splatted on the wall when he unwittingly is brandishing a spatula when the police break through the door unannounced.
4. Little Billy goes to a foster home and gets molested repeatedly until, at the age of 18 he's finally released from the foster care system and, having been molested into a functional psychopath, proceeds to go shoot somebody.

No similarities what so ever

Quote:Quote:

Pavel Trofimovich Morozov (Russian: Па́вел Трофи́мович Моро́зов; November 14, 1918 – September 3, 1932), better known by the diminutive Pavlik, was a Soviet youth praised by the Soviet press as a martyr. His story, dated to 1932, is that of a 13-year old boy who denounced his father to the authorities and was in turn killed by his family. His story was a subject of reading, songs, plays, a symphonic poem, a full-length opera and six biographies. The cult had a huge impact on the moral norms of generations of children.[1] There is very little original evidence related to the story, much of it hearsay provided by second-hand witnesses. According to modern research, the story (denunciation, trial) is most likely false, although Pavlik was a real child who was killed. Morozov's story was the basis of Bezhin Meadow, an unreleased film from 1937 that was directed by Sergei Eisenstein.

First there was D.A.R.E. now there's this. How long until they just start calling it what it is "The Junior Spies".

As a 5th grader I would walk to my local public school every day. This was maybe a few months after Columbine. Anyways, I liked trash day because sometimes I would find cool stuff people had left out on the curb (old electronics, sports equipment, etc). Well, one day I found a replica cap rifle that someone had tossed out. I put it in my backpack and continued to school, eager to show it off to my friends. Luckily, my homeroom teacher at the time was smart and understanding enough to pull me aside and say "now let's just put this in a drawer and you can take it home with you after school, we don't want to scare anyone." I can't imagine what would have happened if I did that nowadays.

I have an idea for a sequel to the video:

Some random thugs break into the house. Wanting to protect herself and her children, the mother rushes to her bedroom to retrieve her gun from her dresser. But, oops, it's not there! "Where is it, where is it, where is it?!" she yells to herself as she frantically digs through her underwear drawer. Being naturally larger and stronger, the thugs quickly overpower her. They drag her, screaming and crying, to the bed where they punch and beat her to get her to shut up. The thugs then proceed to tear off her clothes and take turns brutally gang-raping the mother, all while the kid is forced to watch.

Now let's see how safe this faggy kid feels in his gun-free house after that.

the abject mental retardation required to think it's a good idea suggesting kids steal and then take their parents' guns into school absolutely boggles my mind.
