Experimenting with smooth talking and compliments

.........Although I find the term PUA a little grotesque there is a bit of a parallel to being an artist. First you have to learn how to follow the rules (e.g. be an asshole) then you can strategically break them (find a way to still be assertive and attractive without going against your sense of self) when it suits you. But if you never learn the rules you wont know why you're breaking them and it'll just be a mess.

Yes good analogy. It's like playing rock guitar, you learn the basic chord vocabulary is I-ii-iii-IV-V-vi-viiDim

But when you listen to songs that are all like that it sounds like standard boring stuff-- just like "in-demand frat-style guy who's marginally amiable but makes sure to strongly hint you're expendable"

It's the basic VOCABULARY for gaming Anglosluts, but it's really pretty formulaic and boring to be that guy. But you should know that guy,and those chords.
Than on TOP of that you can add jazzy cool stuff, "..and I can do all this other stuff!!"

I'm not a fan of compliments especially when nothing has yet to be established with the woman, after that, seldom, unexpected, and targeted at the small stuff is alright, never put extras on your compliments.

"Wow mami, you look absolutely beautiful tonight, you're shutting down Beyonce with that dress!"

But I think this discussion is missing a crucial point. Women want to receive compliments from men they actually want to get compliments from -- no chick minds if an RG-type dude tells her she is beautiful, she'll actually return his compliment.

If a woman doesn't find you attractive, it doesn't matter how many times you tell her how beautiful she is, she says "Thank you" -- if that -- and keeps it moving.

Look, attractive women know they're attractive. They've been told so by everyone, not just men who want to fuck them, so I don't feel like putting your compliment in accomplishes much other than it lands you in the pile of all the other dudes who started their bid with such fawning. Add that to the fact that in today's dating climate, damn near any compliment to a woman lands you a free thirsty t-shirt, so I say to hell with it.

Guys need to learn how to just talk to women just like you talk to people who you aren't trying to fuck. What you're trying to establish is a vibe. Once you have a good vibe, you can take that shit anywhere.
