Travelling there for a week in January, any fresh info on Minni? The thread on the travel forum is last updated several years ago.
My trip is job related, and my company is putting me up at a hotel somewhere near its office out in the suburbs, by Ridgedale Center Mall. Doesn't seem to be much there - a Louie's Bar, a Boulevard Bar&Diner, a few other similar establishments... Anyone been there and can recommend a place? Sometimes these mall breweries can get quite lively.
I'm not sure if I'll be renting a car, but even if I do I won't be driving at night due to DUI risk, and with downtown an expensive cab ride away, I probably will be stuck around that area in the suburbs. Is it worth it or should I just sign up for Tinder and hope to hit something randomly within a few miles...
Anyone has tips or wants to have a beer?

Anyone any tips on the Minnetonka area, where to go out, or just forget it and drive to town? I ended up getting a car after all but have to be careful of DUI especially since this is a work-related trip.

If you want to stay in tonka I'd recommend redstone for the cougar crowd or the boulevard...

Downtown I'd recommend the loop, the W or Honey if you like hip hop music....

Thanks for the tip - both of these seems quite close to my hotel. I'll try them for the first few days, and then I might head for Uptown too. Can't go out every night since I'll be working daytime.
