Other signs of Cultural Collapse you've noticed

I haven't spent much real time sitting around the USA for ten years.

1- Dating naked? This is actually on tv?

2- there isn't any news sources worth paying attention too. Nytimes, Washingtonpost, cnn is leftist idiocy, and Fox News is so simple and stupid it's hard to watch, like their target audience has an iq of retarded and if they say abortion or crime that's enough.

3- tv commercials are so loud and flashing. Tv shows are cartoons too. I was st a friends house and his little kid was watching tv, I felt like it was a car accident. Loud, screaming, lights, quick changes, screams. Melts brains.

The high percentage of students in higher education taking useless degrees and the indoctrination on college campuses.

Every other airhead I met in sales has a post graduate degree in teaching or the humanities.

Every other male I have met has taken an undergraduate degree in "business" assuming they will become the next Jordan Belfort and snort cocaine off of a hooker's ass.

And the STEM students I meet are unfortunately too socially awkward for their own good. It is a shame because they are far more pleasant than the majority of idiots I see on campus.

And the vast majority of these morons demand more government because they are too bloody lazy to make something of themselves.

The butthurt of every American in the U.S. Used to be proud to be a part of this country, starting to lose faith since everyone has become so sensitive and such a pussy. Everyone is offended by everything. I weep for the degeneration of this country.

Since everyone in this country is such a bitch, I'm sure another country will Red Dawn us and try to take over this once great nation. At least I have enough guns and ammo to survive the apocalypse twice.

General James "Mad Dog" Mattis: Nothing, I keep other people awake at night.

The rave scene is a symptom of serious societal problems. If we lived in a sane society where people felt a connection to their peers, family, and community, "raving" would be the last thing on their minds. It's about becoming disconnected. It's about forgetting who you are. It's about becoming a face in the crowd and losing your "inhibitions" (or identity).

I'm surprised the rave scene has lasted so long. Back when I was in college it was already starting to die out somewhat.

The rave scene today is basically what would have happened if disco lasted all the way into the 1990's. Swap out cocaine with molly and various exotic synthetics. Substitute the saturday night fever type dancers with DJs who monopolize the pussy at every event. Switch out young willing women with fake titted attention whores with glow sticks.

Actually they aren't that similar..comparatively speaking the disco scene was sadly probably still superior to rave culture.

It won't happen in such a dramatic fashion. It'll just be demographic chiseling piece by piece starting in the west and southwest. The narco corridor will turn into an "immigration" corridor through which illegals and their children will spawn an entire new generation of "Americans."

Then comes the spread of barrios with 3rd world conditions and popular "elected" officials of these communities who speak english as a second language or in some case not at all. Then comes the mystery money that props up various officials and businesses "friendly" to foreign divestment from down south of the border.

U.S. government and police officials will be politely requested to respect this new order in society and are paid to keep quiet in various ways. The ones who don't keep quiet will be duly replaced by those that operate within those communities. You will also see a shifting media environment which doesn't bring up these issues for fear of unpopular "community" backlash.

Then comes the mystery disappearances to anyone who doesn't cooperate with this new order. It starts out with professional exclusion then devolves into something much much more later on.

Somewhere down the line you'll have an entire line of upper class living in CA or elsewhere in the SW who can trace all their origins to the hills of Sinaloa, guerrero, jalisco, or other "interesting" countryside areas down south.

What a wonderful country it will be.

The interesting (and alarming) thing about the EDM culture is that unlike other music trends / subcultures that seem to pop up and fade away every decade or so, EDM never had a specific watershed moment where it "broke" in the same way music scenes have in the past. For example, in late 1991 when Nirvana's Nevermind album came out. Almost overnight it was clear as day that hair metal was dead and grunge was in.

EDM did not have a specific moment in time where it broke into the mainstream. It was underground for so long and just slowly but surely bled into the mainstream culture, bringing all the toxic PLUR bullshit with it. I'd be hard pressed to name an artist these days who doesn't borrow from some sort of EDM influence.

Rock scenes are inherently different. They are more libertarian in nature in that they are comprised of smaller groups of people who all gravitate towards something specific musically. The people that follow bands usually are way more passionate about music then people who follow DJs. Ever try talking to an EDM fan about music? heh...

The drugs are the driving force behind the scene and the music is just an afterthought, an excuse to use the drugs.

Something I've noticed lately, at the golf course of all places, is older women looking at children with disdain and annoyance.

I enjoy taking my young son to the golf course when I want to hit a bucket of balls at the range. He's got his own clubs and at his age just loves that he can make contact and yell "great shot!" at me. The men at the course love seeing a young child taking an interest in the game (sometimes they even give him a neon colored golf ball) and seeing a father and son having fun.

But lately, I've run into women who were visibly annoyed that a kid is taking up what they must feel to be their own personal golf course. What's worse, these women have been my mom's age. It's not like these are women who are working 80 hours a week and only have a few hours to do something recreational. I'm taking at or near retirement age.

In a way, it's kind of a perfect snapshot of everything wrong these days.
