Travel Ideas for 2000$

If you had a total budget of 2000$ to plan a 1-2 week trip this winter, and home base was in Los Angeles, where would you go?
I've been thinking Japan or Scandinavia, and the tickets are running about 1500$ round trip, which leaves me about 500$ for 7 days.
Languages in my repertoire are English, Mandarin, Japanese, and basic Korean.
Would appreciate any ideas you guys could share, thank you!

I think the only way to give a good answer is to answer a few questions. As a side note, maybe RVF can come up with a few standard questions that need to be answered in order to help answer.
1) Where have you been?
2) What type of girls do you like?
3) What do you want to get out of the trip? I.e. just lays, culture, etc.
4) How is your game?
If you have some sense of adventure, I'd try Russia or Ukraine because of the strong dollar and hot women.

Hi Samsamsam, thanks for your response.
I've been to China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. I've been to Europe before this, but it was during high school so I don't think it counts.
I do pretty well with 7's and 8's asian girls and white blonde girls (for some reason, only blondes, white brunettes don't dig me for some reason) and I'm pretty good in this niche.
I'm just looking for lays at the moment, if I'm going to be honest
For game, my approach is a little weak, but after that, I'm pretty good about setting up dates, escalating, and closing.
Looking forward to your advice man.

Read some datasheets that are already shared here on the forum.
I'm sure you can get an idea from them.

I feel like if you only have $2000 then paying $1500 for flights is kind of foolish. Why not go to Mexico or something? You could cross over to Tijuana and go pretty much anywhere in the country for under $400 return.

Study spanish intensively in your own time (1-2 hours a day) for a month then to do a trip to one of several latin countries. Choose the one that interests you most.

Japan/Scandinavia are out of the question with that budget.
Central or South America would be your only options.
Maybe Vancouver might be an option.

Save money for another month or two. Practice Spanish in the meantime. Then go to South America.

There are some great flight deals from LA to Asia for under $700, including
Taipei and
Saigon.
There are certainly others to be found if you look.
$1300 should be plenty for two weeks or less of travel.

I would hit up Kayak and Skyscanner like crazy looking for good deals on tickets focusing Asian hub airports such as BKK, MNL, JKT, HKG, SGP. From there, plenty of cheap flights, bus and train rides to cheap islands/cities. For example, fly to BKK, then to Sihanoukville in Cambodia from there. You won't be buying bottle service at night clubs, but still can have lots of fun.

As mentioned above go to skyscanner, but as your destination select 'everywhere' and it'll list the results from cheapest to most expensive. It's not full-proof as some destinations still require a more specific search, but maybe one of the bargains will be what you're looking for.

Thanks for the advice guys, you're right, spending 1500$/2000$ on tickets doesn't make any sense.
Mardi Gras is a great suggestion and I will try to hit it up in February.
What do you guys think about Vegas before Christmas? Transportation is 40$ round trip, and hotel is about 45$ a night for a place on the strip.

I would highly consider the Caribbean islands, easily.
I think there's another topic made about it somewhere on this board, i would look into it. Tickets shouldnt be more than $800 round-trip, you'll be seeing massive festivals and ass, although hotels are slightly more than SEAsia (i believe $50/night). Anyhow, I'd think Vegas or New Orleans are a waste in terms of experience, and would hit the Caribbean with $2000 instantly.

Get 3 grand, 2 weeks and hit China.
Gas to Vegas is 47 round trip from LA right now if you just want to blow a few hundred for a weekend out of town and grab a few bangs

can't confirm this from personal experience but heard many times from friends that speaking japanese in japan is a huge asset because almost no one there speaks good english + you have the "cute" accent to stun the j-girls.
Other than that: why 7 days? Make it 3 and Stockholm, it will be enough for $500.
I was there for slightly more and ended up paying somewhre 700-900...didn't count but it was 100% under 1000 and never had to save a dollar. good luck.

$500 for 7 days....in Scandinavia?
You can't be serious man.
I think you should look into Central or South America with your budget.
