Does anyone know of any good forums where I can look into the best programs or platforms that are available to build apps for iPhone and Android users? I'm gonna start developing one soon but I can't make up my mind about which one to go with. Does anyone have any experience or advice to lend? I'd really appreciate it.

as someone that has dabbled in app development, I can tell you that you need to really think about your goals in doing so.

If your just trying to launch a quick app to get some proof of concept, go with something like appmakr.com. Your going to be limited if your trying to do something that requires any customization out of basic cookie cutter type apps, but if all you need is proof of concept it will work. Droid can use appinventor to build it.

If your hopes of becoming an app developer for income, you have to learn the actual programming. No way around it. Like anything else in life, you gotta put in work to reap the rewards. Iphone just released swift as its programming language.

Check Udemy.com for some sick deals until 11:59pm PST for cyber monday. I'm talking $500 development courses for $10. I just ordered around $3500 of courses ranging from general business to programming languages to marketing for less than $100. Even if I don't get to look at them for the next 6 months, I will eventually.

Yeah udemy rocks. and they have sales all the damn time. Anytime your interested in a new course, just wait a couple weeks and you can probably get it 50% of even 90% off. You can also create a new email and new account, they seem to send you a 90% off discount to your email once you sign up.
