Should you bother with short answers

I'm getting girls on Tinder. 1/2 goes fine as I start the conversation, and we keep chatting or move to phone/meeting. The other 1/2 goes like this:

- Hi
* Hey
- How are you?
* Fine
- Where do you live?
* xx
- What do you study?
* xx
- Do you do yyy
* yes/no

Basically, they keep very short answers and they don't reverse back with questions.

Is this?

1. A lack on my game?

2. They are plainly not interested.

The main reason is that they get too many matches, so you need to act like a clown... sorry, I mean you need game to get their attention.

Are you trying to get in her pants or filling out bank loan paperwork?

I've got this a lot on dating sites. How old are you? I'm 23 and in my opinion the overwhelming majority of women my age are vapid idiots who are terrible at conversation, getting a complete sentence out of some of these brainless whores would be a minor miracle, never mind the decency to ask you how you are too!

That's a bad script for an opening conversation. I doubt you actually care about what she studies, so why ask?

Instead of checking of the boxes on the getting to know you questions, ask one question, and follow it up. You need to sell them on why they should be talking to you and not the 100's of other matches. You can do this by starting with something better than "hey."

An easy opening is "you look like the type..." and fill in whatever observation you want.

Good posts here.....but here's the main tip that I drop in my tinder posts...

don't let it feel like an interview.

My best game advice is a classic Mystery line: "think about the average AFC, then do the opposite."

What do betas do on tinder?

"hey where are you from?"
"what do you study?"
"what do you like?"
"okay cool now that your interview is completed do you want to go on a date?"

yeah, no, I don't think girls like that. Think of something funny....or don't respond at all
