The Help-Me-Find-This-Thing Thread

There have been some threads about electronic music and trance I believe. I found this one.
http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-10694-page-3.html

I like the positive vibes that I get from listening to this music but have a very poor understanding. I don't understand all the different types, I just like the beats and rhythms. Any suggestions would be appreciated or just links to the threads on the forum, I can't seem to find them very well.

On soundcloud I have been trying to find good remixes where a slower song gets beats added to it like this one from U2 "With or Without You" but it got mixed with some nice beats and really made an oldie new again. I might like all the choices the DJ made, but I do like the feel.

https://soundcloud.com/drkucho/u2-with-o...t-you-dr-1

Here is a remix of Beautiful Day
https://soundcloud.com/anplayboys/u2-bea...on-orf-and

If anyone has some good leads to these type of remixes without me having to dig and dig, you would be my best friend [Image: smile.gif]

It doesn't have to be all U2, just a couple of samples.

Thanks.

There's a guy who posts here who has a cooking blog. He had some advice on what kind of equipment to get.

His blog was posted as a link in his signature.

If anyone could point me to it i'd appreciate it.

OK....interesting oldies request. Sorry I can't answer the questions so far.

I recall a batch of old 8-bit games that was included. I believe it was called the "MS entertainment pack" or something like that. It included a couple of interesting programs like the old puzzle game Chip's Challenge, Jezzball(where you use lines to block bouncing balls), a pipe puzzle game, a missile command type game, and another action game where you had to fly a helicopter around rescuing people from Aliens.

Sounds like Defender 2 but more realistic.

Someone posted an article a while back that opened my eyes to the different levels of game.

The writing went something like this:

"John is a player. He bangs a new girl every week, and one day while at the office, he was talking to his buddy Jim about it. Jim went home where he bangs his wife, who is boring, and fantasized about chasing tail like John. Jim was at the bar complaining about his wife to Bill. Afterwards, Bill went home and even though he's 40, has never married and has not seen a vagina in 4 years."

It's an article that pretty much starts at the top hierarchy of players, then trickles down the different levels, with an example of a guy at each level.

I thought it was Roosh...so I checked his fiction section...no luck. I have no idea who wrote it then.

There was an article within the past year or two on the Atlantic I think that chronicled a guy who used to be bluepill and would ask girls to kiss them and stuff. In college, he was starting to date a girl, but then she turned cold on him. Her friend told him later that she really liked him, but he kept asking her if he could do this or that. From that point on, he resolved to just go for it.

I thought I had it bookmarked, but I cant find it. I really need to organize my 6000 bookmarks.

Sorry I can't provide any further, and perhaps I'm thinking of something that covered the same concept.

I think I know what you're talking about, I believe it was an ROK article....... It had an actor and then his assistant and people associated with him who went down the hierarchy. Also included a musician and his groupies and one of his assistants not getting as much trim

These are pretty standard 'house' remixes. It's probably the most popular and expansive genre of electronic music, so lucky for you it's really easy to find remixes for just about any song in this style. Just google the song you want with 'house remix' on the end.

If you are looking for newer songs in this style, you can find a bazillion playlists on youtube put out fairly regularly, like this:

The above playlist is electro house/ big room house, which is probably the most popular music style in clubs at the moment.

But house is such an expansive genre, that you can find any sort of tempo or style you want just by chucking a couple adjectives in front of house to get the style you desire.

Is there a Tuthmosis ROK article or RVF post about how to convert a friend to the red pill? I've heard references all over but can't seem to track it down.

You were probably refering to this one.

This has been driving me crazy.

When my family bought our first computer - a Compaq Presario desktop in 1998 - there was a preloaded game [I think a demo] on it. It was a first person shooter where you walked around in a spaceship I think [it was always dark, lot of red colors reflecting off harsh metallic surfaces] and had futuristic Halo style weapons. You shot some aliens.

I definitely remember though that every time you died, you would hear this evil menacing laughter "Hahaha" from your enemy.

Any idea what game this was?

Over the years I think there have been a few thread compilations. I know there was one where all posts with 50 or.more likes was consolidated. Can't seem to find it.

Also looking for anything that summarized some of the great knowledge on the forum.

I am thinking of doing a post that would help anyone new to read some of the great advice that has been given here. Especially for those who may be coming here because of a divorce or a bad break up or a tough financial situation. I'd definitely have info on travel (can't leave out some of the epic threads about the Philippines, etc.) But the focus would be on stabilizing a guy for the lack of a better description.

Yes, I get it a man needs to take care of himself and do his own work but I think an olive branch for some of the new guys and even the lurkers may be helpful. After all this forum is about being a better man and if we had something to kick start that process I think it would be a good thing. Helping a random guy to get his life on track is a gift for everyone (unless he steals the chick I have oneitis for).

But if it has already been done then i'll drop this idea and go back to working on gifs. Thanks.

Searching (via forum) for "most liked posts" using all other defaults yields a lot of results, but about a page down is the post you were looking for. Copied below as well as a few others you may find relevant to your search:

The Help-Me-Find-This-Thing Thread

TL;DR - I am looking for health-related information about feeling like my stomach is bloated recently, and also feeling 'heavy' and lethargic. I recognise that it is likely caused by an allergy. However a forum search of 'allergy' yields two threads not related to this. I am mid-30s, 177cm tall, moderately active with a desk-bound job and I weigh about 163 pounds. I have relatively good health as do my parents and sibling and both my maternal and paternal grandmothers lived past their 80s.
_________________________________________________________________________________
In the past 8 weeks or so my body has been giving me some feedback. Firstly I got two small itchy areas on either side of the bridge of my nose, which left two small dark marks. The itchiness soon dissipated but not the marks. A while later I started to have low levels of energy and then I began to sleep a lot for almost two weeks. Once again, this state of affairs soon went away, but not before I consulted a doctor, fearing that I had a problem with my adrenal glands and thyroid. He recommended a blood test at a lab, which I promptly took. The results showed no problems with my glands, and my testosterone levels were in the middle of the range for a test taken in the morning. Within another week or so, I seemed to have quickly put on fat on my belly, which is troubling me. My digestive system seemed overwhelmed and sluggish and I then realised that the reason for this is that I had been over-eating recently, and had consumed more junk food than usual for about two months. This led me yesterday to read the whole of this thread on intermittent fasting thread-4922....nt+fasting and I've decided to try the 16/8 routine (fasting from 19H00 to 11H00). So far it is an interesting experience during this first week of trying it. Two things I've realised now is that I never really felt full (satiated) when I was eating whenever I chose to, and secondly, eating breakfast daily between 07H00 and 08H00 made me very hungry within about two to three hours. Although there are hunger pangs now with IF, I'm experiencing why food can contribute to 'mental fog'. There's a thread on this thread-10961...ht=clarity

There was an epic post a while ago that I can't find.

It was along the lines of "Fuck Every Girl Like It's The Last Time You'll Fuck."

It was amazing. I think it was Lizard of Oz, but I'm not sure.

There was a post in one of the big travel threads (I think it was a Peru or Lima one) about a forum member who got a girl pregnant in Peru and she was going to keep the baby. Anyone know where I can find that?
