Gene Simmons Fox Interview

I'm sure that Roissy, Rollo, or someone will tackle this at some point this week but seeing Gene Simmons do this interview pretty much sums up gender dynamics and family in 2014 America: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=diV6aP_qwYw

He's right on some things like women can't have a career and family, men aren't at peak maturity until later in life but is deluded in blue pill arrogance. What happens if the man runs away? Women can't depend on men due to statistics? Does he realize women initiate 70% of divorces and are protected by big government for alimony and child support?

Love how he says women can always fall in love and are at prime ferility between 20-40 and after all of the years of prophetically saying marriage is a sham, finally realizes that Shannon is the love of his life and had the blessing of a woman to stick by the stupid and arrogant man he was.

Of course, women are the backbone of the family, mothers are wonderful, without them its chaos, and on top of that, are capable of being world-class entrepreneurs at 20 and just need to unleash their inner man!

Not one word on the importance of fathers in society, traditional values, discipline, etc.

Whatever, guess I'll just enjoy the decline.

Simmons: delivering pure party line here. Nothing we haven't heard from the feminist press for the past 40 years. He's another celebrity opportunist who is going to say what he needs to say to keep his cash flowing in.

@ 3:52 - interviewer admits to following the trend and riding the carousel through her college years not taking any relationships seriously. Regardless, extremely bangable at 36. Talk about wall survivor, shit...

It got really hard for me to enjoy "Detroit Rock City" after I started reading about Simmon's political/foreign policy stances. This is just more of the same. It's sad. Now if you want a hard rocker you can get behind, look at Dave Mustaine.

Dude. Never ever ever let the idiocy and inanity of mere words, of this or that species of worthless chatter, take away from your enjoyment of something as sacred as Detroit Rock City. Even the idea that someone would allow that to happen gives me a strange and bad feeling.

It's like refusing to stick your hardest cock in a beautiful 18 year old Latina-white blend who is set in doggie and wiggling her ass at you, because she has some "opinions" that you disagree with about, say, the Common Core educational standards as they will be applied in the state of Wisconsin.

It is that dumb -- dumber, even, because the gift of a great and passionate piece of music is, if anything, even more amazing and evergreen than that of a moist and delicious piece of ass.

WHO THE FUCK CARES about Gene's "foreign policy stances" whatever they are? He was part of a band of genius that was possessed by God, the Devil, and the greatness of New York and Long Island in the 1970s. It is your privilege to be heir to this great legacy and you must safeguard it by listening to this as if it was the last thing you will ever hear on this earth:

Gene Simmons is fascinating but so full of shit during his interviews. The one he did with Terry Gross a few years ago was priceless though.

Yes, that was funny as hell, hubris vs. nemesis. The shocked tone of Terry Gross is priceless, she got knocked off her chair.

Could only bare to watch half the interview. She was looking for assurances and confirmation that she made the right choice riding the cock carousel and he was looking for a pay day.

He probably banged her afterwards.

hahaha. No Lizard, I got over it. It was a very short term thing. Detroit Rock City is still probably in my top 5 jams to listen to before going out on a Saturday.

Yeah, maybe I was a little hard on old Gene. I think he's basically all right. What I resented from him (as well as from all his generation) was the constant pandering to females and to the public. I was turned off by his constant bragging and self-promotion. It just struck me as so much opportunism. But then again, I'm not in his position.

Seeing his interview again with Fox interview Tantaros, I see it differently. He seems more full of pathos than anything else. I see him as an aging man now suddenly aware of his own mortality and the fleeting nature of opportunity. He has deep regrets for his decisions, and uses this blustery persona to cover that up.

He is trying to come to grips with the mistakes he's made in his life. For that, I can have sympathy.

Which one of us will not be there someday...?

Some advice on women from Gene Simmons. I didn't realize till watching this he claims to have had sex with well over 3,000 women. You can watch the entire video which is pretty entertaining. Yes, I know, he's a rockstar and doesn't have to necessarily "build attraction", but there are times when his advice is applicable.

Some excerpts starting around 6:35:
"I sort of do what I want to do. When you find a woman attractive, most men take a long time, let's have dinner, there's a lot of talking. I think women are tired of it. I think they want honesty. I think they want you to walk up to them and tell them the truth."

He says he doesn't waste time for two reasons: (1) "Pragmatic", and (2) "I don't want to insult her wishes. At the end of the day the green light or the red light is totally up to the woman. She determines if this goes to the next step. So if I find you attractive and I want to do something about it I say I find you attractive immediately. Women spend so much time taking care of themselves the only thing they want you to do is notice them. I think that's the least I could do."

Edit: The entire thing is hilarious. Comedian Craig Gass does a great impersonation and has good Kiss-bashing material.

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
