This may be a long shot, but there seems to be people from all walks off life using this forum. Has anyone gotten into political/security risk consultancy at all ?

If so I would appreciate it if we can discuss it via here, or through PM's, as I am struggling a bit in this graduate job search. I have the right degree, experience working in a hostile area in the middle east, as well as commercial experience.

That's actually what I'm trying to break into. I think it's a great way to get into the private sector for guys in the IR field.

There's a lot of firms here in DC, others in NY. Probably a few in London too, but you'd know better than I. I think it's a smaller niche, but if guys on here are in the field I'd love to know.
